Pros: Excellent location. Very friendly staff (particularly Pedro). Great dining experience at Federico (particularly the carrot-in-different-textures dish). Our corner room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Nice sheets, towels, and room temperature. The view was incredible and we particularly enjoyed the Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom, as well as the his-and-hers sinks. We also loved the detail of the daily pastry/wine left by housekeeping.

Cons: Breakfast should start before 7:30am and dinner should end later than 10pm.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, especially for the value. Beautifully designed old manor house refashioned as a hotel—they’ve kept a lot of wonderful architectural flourishes from the original building while still making it a very comfortable hotel with good-sized rooms and all the modern amenities you’d want. Right in the heart of the trendy Bairro Alto neighborhood and across the street from a plaza with sweeping views across the city, the location could not be better and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful too. I Cannot recommend this highly enough!

From the moment I arrived the staff were very attentive and polite. The decor is stunning and the room was very comfortable. The restaurant was adequate and the location of the hotel is perfect, close to most places. Every evening they left a little pastry treat for us.

There was a lot of noise every night outside our room, as there are a few bars located close by. Kept me up every night. Despite this I would still go again as the overall experience was outstanding.

The staff is so friendly, I would like to name them all but I don't want to forget any name, but the staff is absolutely phenomenal. The room was great, spacious, clean, the beds are comfy, the design is great. The bathrooms are also huge, clean, and just perfect. The smell everywhere is great, the views from any corner of the hotel were just great. The location is awesome, very close to everything, ask the staff for recommendations on food and bars, they gave us very good options. The breakfast was exceptional, I believe that they bake everything in-house, they just taste so fresh and good, I already miss the breakfast. I understand that this is a new hotel and they are trying their best, every day we would walk into a clean room with a bottle of wine/champagne and some desserts (which I know might be just because they are new since I never experienced such) but this was a nice gesture from them. I've stayed in over 80 hotels using booking, none less than 4 stars and mostly 5 stars. This was by far the best one I've stayed at. The friendliest people, cleanest room, most artistic place, I will definitely return to it.

Nothing.

The courteous staff who are well informed and are able to give helpful suggestions.

The breakfast is a bit chaotic but this may be due to the fact that they’ve just opened. I hope they will address these short comings.

Location good, lovely part of city for views, bars, restaurants The evening meal was one of the best meals I've ever had, we also paired wine with each course. The Sommelier and Chef excellent and really deserve commendation, both certainly proud of their work and deservedly so. We also attended a wine tasting which was most enjoyable, again the Sommelier, this time Tanya, very interesting and deserves a special mention. All of the reception staff most pleasant and helpful. The Mixologist in the bar also created off menu amazing cocktails for us. Must mention the beautiful aroma of Tom Ford vanilla and tabac piped through!!! Amazing stay, thank you

Can be noisy outside so can't have windows open....have to say there is ac and the windows block the noise fully. Breakfast - the self serve part fine, the table order part rather disappointing, very small portion More tea and milk in the room needed but when asked was brought up to us

They are all about the little details to make you feel like a valued guest. Every night a sweet treat is waiting for you to enjoy. I looked forward to it every evening after a long day of sight seeing. Every staff member is there to assist you with anything you need. I had some bumps in the road on this holiday ( nothing to do with this establishment)and they were there with suggestions to help.

Nothing.

stunning hotel with great attention to detail aesthetically. felt like a true luxury boutique hotel. some unique design choices like the glass roof over the courtyard to make the restaurant feel like a garden. the bathroom was large and beautifully finished. great location in historic area walkable lots to many restaurants and popular locations

this was a luxury stay and we felt the price reflected this for the city. the tasting and wine experience was a bit disconnected from the stay unless the guests made an effort to seek it. the staff could do a more intentional job of sharing ways to make the most of their “wine experience” while there. similarly, to other guests’ comments, breakfast is still working out some of the kinks. yet it was clear they were working on it. and overall for a new hotel very little to complain about!

The property is stunningly beautiful with grand rooms that exceeded our expectations. As part of the experience, we received daily treats, from a bottle of wine the first day to bottle of local cheery liquor or port with accompanying snacks, which made the stay even more special for us.

The location in Chiado is very convenient to shops and restaurants, and is very central. That said, the downside is that the hotel is surrounded by local bars that are very popular with young adults so it's not unusual them to congregate and party outside in the streets, which can make it quite noisy at 3 AM. That said, the hotel does have thick windows and window treatments that did help to dampen the noise.

Location, facilities, design, efficiency extremely good. This place has a great potential to become a signature destination for Lisbon.

Tried to visit the spa which was within a boutique and needed minimum 24hours notice.... Breakfast, a nice buffet needs some hot options though such as eggs, baked vegetables etc. they tried to serve hot dishes at the table but the service is extremely slow for a city hotel. Even a cup of coffee takes time by the time they will take the order, put it in the system and bring it to you...
