very close to everything. Modern, clean, comfortable. The front desk staff were very nice.

The restaurant staff. Some were ok but some were rude and very unhelpful. I ordered a latte, it was cold, i asked thé young lady if she could heat it up and she put it in the microwave. i ordered another one and she brought it to me cold again. The insistance that we pay for everything we order before we got it made us feel like they were treating us like thiefs. I stopped going in there the last evening and following morning and we had coffee elsewhere. I would stay at the hotel again but I would not go into the restaurant.

Modern, clean and quiet, with a magically silent airco (at last!). Good shower, luxurious towels and a nice bed. The Chromecast in the tv is a great addition. Friendly staff and a good restaurant. Great location next to Trindade metro station. Proximity to: all metro lines, supermarket Froiz, Europcar car rental down the street, excellent restaurants.

The location next to Trindade metro station, does result in some terrifying screeching noise from the metro tracks, even as high as the 8th floor. I would advise not to take a city view room, to keep away from this noise.

Room was very clean with most things available - kettle, fridge, safe etc. Bed was comfortable and could be raised to sitting position. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was fine. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The bathroom was more or less see through - no real privacy - this is a most stupid trend. Also it was a bit difficult to squeeze past the foot of the bed. Also it's a bit mean to give a kettle in the room and then charge for a little packet of 2 teabags, 2 sugars and maybe coffee - especially if u only want coffee and not tea. The robots didn't do much!!

I liked the room, I had asked for a quiet room and it was AMAZINGLY quiet, given that the hotel is located at a super busy road (it was at the back and I only heard the seagulls...). It was super clean and very (nicely) modern. The location is very practical given that it is at a central metro point (Trindade), but the city center is also near enough to walk. Nice that checkout was not required until 12:00. Free water bottles in the room and VERY nice cookies!

The neighborhood could be a little nicer ;-) The tv sometimes did not work due to poor internet or something. The hairdryer was half broken. The hotel was quite expensive.

Had all amenities I desired. It’s very nicely designed, the rooms, and clean and a good feel. It’s one of those modern edgy new stays with colored lights behind mirrors around the ceiling, etc. I liked it. The food, full dining, is fabulous and top notch. The breakfast is the best I’ve seen in my travels, but way overpriced. I got braised pork cheeks with wild rice and vegetables for $13. It was delicious. The breakfast was $16. I mean, it’s just eggs. I inquired about this, and they responded, ‘there are more items’. Uummm, I’m going to choose the main things I always choose, usually from $5-10. Just because you offer more variety doesn’t add any value. Anyway, the place is great and the location is also great. Also parking is outrageous. $17 / day for garage. I changed to an airport hotel and parking was $5 / day.

Neat design, clean, food, location.

1) Good location - 3 min by foot to the station to go anywhere, walking distance to the centre (10-15 min by foot). 2) Diverse breakfasts - I was able to create a whole different meal every day (4 night stay) 3) Kind helpful staff

Form over substance - don’t get me wrong, I think the mood lighting and robots are cool, but you know what would be even cooler? Working WiFi. Especially in a hotel advertising theirs as „super-fast”. There was barely a signal in my room and the WiFi connection was restarting every 1-2 minutes. I didn’t dream of watching Netflix with it, but it wasn’t even enough to search through the Internet. It would be great to provide basic items at an acceptable level before offering the additional perks.

As always, Yotel provides quite a unique experience of a high tech hotel. All those multicolour LED lightings, adjustable beds, wireless chargers make you feel different than in other hotels. The staff was amazing and helpful, and the breakfast was pretty good too. The hotel is located close to one of the central metro stations (and this is handy due to hills and slopes of the city), and in 15-20 mins walk from the city center itself.

Just two power outlets were not in the most useful spots of the room, and USB charger outlets were type B, a bit outdated for modern tech. The sound proof of the room was pretty poor (I could hear the elevator noise and people outside constantly).

The staff at the front desk were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful even at the hour of my arrival. Thank you!

The lighting system in the room is horrible and requires an advanced degree in rocket science to interpret. Ridiculous actually as well as time consuming and never actually understood. Also, when the lights in the room are off, all the lights carry lighted buttons in the dark so you need to place objects, towels, sticky notes, etc. over all the light buttons in order to keep the room dark enough to sleep. The architect or designer clearly had “issues”. I would not stay here again only because of the lights in the room. Seriously, it’s sad.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Great view from the 7th floor. Loved the mood lighting in the shower, bathroom etc. Mini fridge with a bottle of water. A complementary apple and macarons. TV able to connect to Chromecast which meant we could stream our own film choices. Frosted glass for toilet and shower, so maybe not the best if you're not comfortable around your companion! Coffee machine and vending machine in reception. Cute little robots who move around the ground floor; currently offering free water bottles and lollipops. I understand that in future, the plan is for them to move around the different floors and deliver room service, but that's work in progress. Very clean. Very quiet.

Close to the metro station but a rather steep hill to walk up/down to get to the main centre. We used scooters on occasions when we were too tired but even they struggled with the incline! Can be tiring after a long day of exploring.

- Good sized, clean, comfortable room. - Clean, comfortable bed and pillows. - Great water pressure for the shower, toilet, sink. All very clean and new. - There is air conditioning with temperature control, in room safe and fridge. Iron, ironing table and hairdryer all provided. - Friendly staff, checked us in while we were waiting in line (she actively wanted to make sure we didn't wait during our arrival). Additionally, we were able to go into our room earlier than designated check in time. - Great location, next to Trindade Station (on the line from airport), so we were able to walk easily with our luggage. Close to launderette and cafés. Short walk (15-20 minutes) to Pont Luis and the main touristy areas.

The lighting in the room was a bit strange. You could change to all sorts of colour neon purple, pink, blue, green, yellow but I couldn't get normal/cool/warm white. This could be because I was struggling with the controls though. Not a deal breaker - just slightly strange.
