The toilet paper here was amazing. I am actually taking the time to write this review and say this because usually hotels use cheapy thin toilet paper that disappears (not sure where it goes!) when you wipe but the toilet paper here was name brand high-quality, soft and thick paper! Its the small things!

I am a larger sized person (Think big and tall or Big lots) but with that being said toilet seat was a little bit small and low for me! Had a little bit of trouble positioning for the landing as well as standing back up. But the toilet paper made up for that !

The room was spacious and very comfy, with a mini fridge and a microwave oven. It was easy getting there from the airport. There is space to wait in the lobby (as well as tea and coffee) if you get there before 3 pm. The staff at the front desk was helpful and called a taxi when we couldn't find one. The breakfast was okay, I was happy to find soy milk!

Be aware that the hotel is surrounded by highways in a way that makes it unaccessible by foot or by public transit. There is a shuttle to and from the airport (it is recommended to book a spot if you leave in the morning) but you must have a car or take a taxi if youre going anywhere else. It can be very hard to get a taxi at some hours so plan your travels accordingly and dont hesitate to ask the front desk for help!

It was one night stay before our flight back.

Two things - * Rachel, the front desk person called us for a taxi. They charged us double from what they shoul have. I asked two taxi drivers later. * We were 5 memebers with suitcases and backpacks and they said the shuttle cant get to the terminal only to the train. When we get there via taxi we saw Springhill shuttle there.

The location - proximity to EWR - the complementary airport shuttle, the room size and comfort, the staff at the front desk were exceptional in welcoming us, checking us in and addressing our concerns. Also, the airport shuttle personnel and housekeeping staff, as well as the breakfast room staff were engaging, friendly, effective and personable. And, the price of the room was quite reasonable, in light of the current status of rental lodging. I would recommend AND stay at this hotel in the future.

The only negative experience we had was that upon arriving to EWR by Amtrak train and t/c'ing the front desk staff to learn the procedure for accessing the hotel shuttle pick-up from EWR to the hotel, I was told that the shuttles ran on an every-15-to-20-minute schedule; however after 40 minutes no hotel shuttle had arrived at the EWR P4 stop. Then, within 5 minutes of re-contacting the hotel, a shuttle arrived.

The rooms are great. They have a very nice size and good office space for working. Bed was very comfortable and soft. Bathroom had a good size and the sink is outside the bath and toilet area, this is very useful when two people need to get ready. They have several snacks and drinks for sale since you will not be able to walk around the neighborhood to get anything (there is no neighborhood actually, since this place is for people who need to stay near the airport).

The pool and gym that are featured are not nice and I wouldn't recommend getting in that pool. Breakfast could do a little bit better but I think that this is the tendency all around.

The location is very convenient for anybody traveling in the area- so many tourist attractions nearby. The continental breakfast and the kitchenette made it very easy to travel with children. The facilities are tidy and clean. The staff is extremely flexible and hospitable. My toddler is obsessed with airplanes so we had a nice view of the NY/NJ skyline with planes right nearby. Also another bonus, Good shower pressure.

Although the parking lot had a gated access, the lot was too small to be able to accommodate all the rooms and staff. It was hard to find parking at night, even the lot was completely full one night of our stay. The pool was too small to fit multiple families with children comfortably and it wasn’t clean.

Room was nice with a couple of exceptions. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Would definitely book again.

Not complaints, just observations (because these issues can be easily resolved): *The hallway and elevator smelled badly. *The air conditioner in our room didn't cool very well and was very loud when it came on. *Had to pay for 'secure' parking, but the parking gate was up/open the whole time.

Stayed here overnight to catch a flight early in the morning the following day. Took advantage of the free shuttle both ways from the airport to the hotel and back. Breakfast hours begin at 6am and our shuttle bus reservation was for 6:30. While we had an ample quick continental breakfast, we noted that there was a full hot breakfast selection available. Room was large, comfortable and well equipped. We ordered pizza from Daniel's pizzeria and they delivered.

Dining choices are limited if you do not have any transportation. There is room service but no on-site restaurant.

The whole stay was very nice. Though dated, the room was very clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed including an accessible bathroom with roll-on shower. The bed was sooooo comfy and it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The staff was very professional and helpful. The breakfast was also good with healthy choices and even warm entrees.

There was only one thing which ruined the ambiance and comfort of my stay. My room was a so called adjoining room with doors to the next room. There was absolutely no sound insulation between and there was a man and woman screaming at each other for over an hour before I called the manager at the desk. Their tv was also so loud that I could hear every word. After two calls the manager knocked on their door and it was quiet after that. I would recommend that if you really need quiet for sleep you ask for a non-adjoining room. Otherwise, insulation could be put between the doors to hinder sound from disturbing the guests in the room.

- Shuttle bus picked us up from the airport train station free of charge, we just had to call them. - The next morning we boked a shuttle to the airport for 6am. No worries at all, all free of charge. - Sofa bed in the room was good. It meant the kids didn't have to share a bed - The nearby Marriott hotel had hot food and cold beer, which was very welcome after a long day. It was just a couple of parking lots over, so we could walk there easily
