Good location for what we needed - close to J11. Hotel is a good size. Initially we thought the car park was small and very crowded but we found the big car park the back. It did mean quite a walk to get to the front door but we were relieved that there was plenty of parking. Rooms are cleaned every day and a good size. Restaurant was friendly and quite busy with business travellers (not a surprise given location close to reading). Good selection on the menu.

It is a good quality hotel. Only thing would be to have better signage to the big car park at the back (turn left as soon as you go into car park), and perhaps have an entrance at the back rather than having to walk around to the front (perhaps it did but we couldn’t see anything in the dark).

I have an excellent overall experience. I booked a room using their service to celebrate my birthday. My first contact was Sami. She made the whole process less stressful; which is what I wanted. She was attentive to the details, friendly, and professional. On the event day, I was overwhelmed with joy when I saw the hall. It was well organized and the staff were all helpful. The food was delicious and well-presented. All of my guests love the food. I had to compliment the chef because it was more than I expected. My guest and I did not have to pay extra for parking and the parking space is secure. We slept well and appreciated the drink in the fridge! Thank you!

All fine ... A detail, but stil ... We did not manage to put up the temperature (slightly) despite various attempts. Maybe it was preset - but a bit cold for our liking. Wonderful silence all night ...

Booking.com had indicated on the confirmation that parking was free. An hour later we got an e-mail from the hotel saying parking at GBP 5 per night. We made a comment by e-mail a day or two before arriving. Upon arrival mid-afternoon it to some time to 'negotiate' with two staff members the free parking - and we managed only because I had printed out the Booking.com comfirmation. To be sorted out between Hotel and Booking.com ...

I wasn’t expecting much from Holiday Inn, thinking it would be just another budget hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a convenient location with its own on-site parking, which made arriving and leaving easy. The room was clean and well-kept, and check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.

The only issues I encountered were minor: I couldn’t locate the elevator, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, it was a bit noisy at times, especially with kids running in the hallways. Overall, though, it was a better experience than I anticipated, and I’d consider staying again.

The location was great and just off the motorway. Breakfast was decent but chaotic. I did have an evening meal too and to be truthful it was good. Aldi is over the road for any essentials. The Queen room we had was large and the bed was reasonably comfortable

The receptionist was overly familiar to the point of being rude and completely unprofessional. Had to queue to be seated for breakfast which was very very busy. The hotel was single-storey and therefore spread out down long corridors. Painted in grey, each door identical, it brought thoughts of a high-class prison. Rooms are large for a queen suite but dark. The bathroom shower screen missing a water seal onto the bath to prevent the water from going onto the floor

Location good. 30 min from airport Heathrow and near motorway. Shops close by and a carpark which we liked. Breakfast was good but we ordered room service in evening. We really enjoyed the evening meals alot. Gym was nice but a pool would be great addition. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean snd staff remembered to.make up an extra bed in room.

The hall ways let property down on ground floor. Would be nice to have some pictures up and plants. £5 parking charge in carpark not great.

Reception staff was excellent . The gentleman who checked me in went over and beyond in accomodating my needs . Breakfast was excellent room was very clean, very quiet and hospitality girls were just fabulous. Location excellent parking was really good and no extra charge unlike other holiday inn in other location. Decor in all areas was very good , clean and modern. A very modern feel in all areas. carpets were very clean

I needed a snack when dinner was closed as had overslept n missed dinner. 2 biscuits literally 2 pieces a small.pkt of crisps costed £5.80 Over charging cant even describe its extortionist !!!they should install a vending machine for snacks otherwise exploiting people doesnt give the hotel a good name. And as it was a sunday no supermarkets were opened its ridiculous to overcharge. For that i wont recommend people buy snacks at the desk . Bring ur own snack or buy ealier in.lidl or Aldi that is near

Our room was spotless, spacious and comfortable! The shower was amazing. Our stay was faultless! The choice at breakfast was outstanding! The reception staff were delightful, on arrival, and departure, and I have already booked a return stay. My daughter, and her husband live in Reading, and I've advised them, that if they need to recommend a hotel, to any of their friends, and/or family, this hotel should be their first call :)

Maybe, at breakfast, have 'hot' plates available to help keep food warm. They may well have been available, and we missed them. If so, sincere apologies :/

I did request for our rooms to be close together and for my room to have a z bed (extra bed), as my daughter doesn't like to share with my partner's son. My room didn't have an extra bed so my partner's son had to share with us and the rooms hadn't been allocated close together, however the receptionist did quickly resolve this for us on check in.

Was told room service on until 11pm, went to order food at 9.45pm on 2nd night to be told they had stopped serving, so we had to order a takeaway.

Staff was friendly especially a lady named Safia. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms were a very good size and clean. I stayed with my 3 children and had 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. The staff was kind enough to give us an extra roll in bed so we all slept comfortably.

Bathroom should have upto 3 toilet rolls. Toilets need better cleaning. We stayed for 4 night and would have liked a mini fridge in room to put food items in for children. One of thr nights the heating came on during the night which made the room too hot which made it difficult to sleep.
