Hotel is like described. Nice, clean and warm room. Safety measures were respected. We have booked the sauna and because of the pandemic it was only for us, which was very nice. Breakfast was ok. Old town is 15 minutes walk away. We had a nice stay regardless of the lockdown.

Excelent Staff and pleasant! I could feel they were all dedicated! The neighborhood is stilled and high class and so Antares.. Nice parking places. Also Breakfast was delicious! I must say that: usually we don't use minibar! This time I felt like I wanted a coke in the last evening so I drink the one in the fridge... Then next day we left..... I remembered later in the day and called back to pay it but they thanked for calling :)

-I cannot think about something wrong... maybe they exagerated with disinfectant in the bathroom? but this could be only a very personal feeling....

This hotel really exceeded our expectations. Huge room, really comfortable bed, bath tub, lots of storage space. Lovely staff. Comfortably warm rooms (but not overheated), as it was freezing in Bratislava when we stayed. As long as you're reasonably fit, the little walk uphill from the centre is no problem at all - it's worth it for the peace and quiet. We'd like to return during good weather months, as the little garden looked very nice. It's the kind of good, solid, old-style hotel that used to be standard, but is now disappearing in a world of generic, faceless chains.

I can't think of any negatives.

Hotel is reasonably close to the city center and located in a quiet area and provided quietness in the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and reception is around 24/7. Room was a decent size and had a nice view of the city outside on the balcony. Decent set of channels to view on tv and had a safe inside which was convenient to store valuables and such in. Also the heating on the radiator was adjustable. Bathroom was convenient to to have a bath or shower as well as a hairdryer and was very clean. Hotel had some nice facilities to use in the gym to.

Had to walk up a hill to get to the hotel which was a little inconvenient and could prove tiring is you were tired. Breakfast was not included in the price and I didn't fancy paying 11 euros per day just to have breakfast meaning that I had to miss out on what looked like lovely food to eat in the morning. I just thought paying that much a day for breakfast was too much.

Hotel Antares is situated in peaceful neighbourhood, but still really close to the city center and all the city attractions. Communication with reception staff was pleasent and fast, they were really nice and helpful. We stayed at the suite which was really large for the hotel room, modern, cosy, clean and luminous. We had a large balcony with the view of nicely kept garden. Bed was large and comfortable, as well as the sofa in the living room. One of the perks of the hotel was spa center with Jacuzzi and sauna. It is great activity for couples as you are offered total privacy there. On top of all that, price was moderate and we got more than we paid for. We would gladly return ;)

I liked the cleanliness (at least in the visible areas that I used), the bed and pillows were comfy for me. The view for the room I got was directly to the Bratislava Castle. I liked the residential area where it is situated, it was quiet (with villas old and new around in good condition). The fact that it needs 10 mins to go by foot to/from the center means I can have more cake :) I loved the breakfast, varied and good quality. I do recommend getting the option.

For me everything was fine

Breakfast was abundant and so varied. We were upgraded to a room with a lounge and balcony. Location as wgreat, very central. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Before we flew we received a phonecall asking if we had booked our transport (which we hadn't) The hotel organised our taxi and we paid the driver directly. The price was very reasonable. We had a very good experience overall. Bratislava is very much worth a visit.

The staff was super friendly. Our shower holder was kind of broken but when we told them about it they fixed it immediately. The beds were really comfortable.

There was a lot of dust falling out of the ventilation thing in the bathroom when you turned it on. Also, some reviews here mention that parking in the street in front of the hotel is for free. However, this is probably only if you can park in a real parking spot marked by white lines, the sides of the streets are only for locals. We did not know this so we got a weel clamp and had to pay a (small) fine. This is not something that the hotel can do anything about, but I just think its important to know this and you should just park your car in the garage of the hotel.

The room was a big one. It was clean and nice, close to the city center, in a calm area, with a good parking place. The coffee is very tasty. The service was excellent who allowed us to have a delicious cappuccio in the beautiful garden. The receptionist man was very helpful and kind.

The only thing which we don't like, there was a lady during our stay on the receptionist who talked and laughed so loadly which i was able to hear from our room during the night. At the same time they talked and smoked near the entrance of the hotel and the smoke was in our room..

Everything was great. The staff were helpful, the beds very comfortable, everything was exceptionally clean, in a very quiet neighborhood only a 15 min walk to St. Micheal's Gate. Our room had a bath (with massage jets!), but no shower curtain. If you prefer showers, ask for a shower room. Also, it's great there is an elevator, but only on the left wing of the hotel, so be sure to book there if you need it. Overall, it's a great little hotel. Definitely recommended!!!

These isn't really a complaint, only a couple of words to the wise. Parking. If you have a roof box like we do, you either have to take the box off and park underground or park directly in front of the hotel, INSIDE the gate!! If you park on the street you can get clamped (€50 fine)!!! Thankfully, we narrowly avoided that. There was a misunderstanding in messages with the hotel what they meant by "parking outside." Perhaps the only negative feedback would be that they didn't ask us where we had parked when we checked in, even though I had sent a message about parking. Asking us would have cleared things up immediately.
