When talking about 5 stars hotel experience, this is it ! From start to end the staff tends to your every need. Further more, value for money, this is the best hotel we've probably ever seen. Located 5 minutes walk from the water front. Ultra fast Wifi internet .Free valet parking if you tip the awesome guys, drop & pickup car straight from the lobby. Excellent breakfast. Amazing spa with stunning views. Specious rooms. Got to mention the unbelievably fast elevators. The hotel's facilities are clean & sanitized always. We had an unforgettable time & can not wait to come back ! Highly recommend !

Not a thing

Position is comfortable if you have a conference in CTICC, on the other side of the road. The cost of stay is quite economic compared to European standards. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful.

There was some hair in the shower at our entrance, promptly cleaned by the staff upon our request. Air conditioning was noisy and inefficient: our room was exposed to sun in the afternoon, and it was impossible to cool it down even if we were in the cold season. Sight from the window (3rd stage) was disappointing. Walking outside is unsafe, as nearly everywhere in Cape Town.

I had an early morning flight getting into Cape Town so I asked for an early checkin, which I got on arrival. Seamless checkin that by the time I was done my luggage had already been whisked to my room . Conciege service always on call and waiting to help whether it’s opening car doors ( which I enjoyed; felt like royalty 🤣🤣) and helping with shopping . I ordered room service for lunch , which was to my spec. Everyone I spoke to at the hotel was always willing to help with a smile , nothing was impossible, very solutions driven and efficient team. I’m sure if I had asked for Table Mountain to o he brought to my room , they would have tried to bring it to me 😌🤣!! Fast and stable WIFI. Quite a spread at breakfast, be sure to take your time . The Chef took his time to explain the technique behind making fried eggs and why he had to break the yolk - an impromptu lesson on cooking , which I enjoyed.Spirit of “ if I can’t do it your way, I will explain why I can’t !” . Overall experience was fantastic!

Nothing; everything was on point !

Great location in the heart of Cape Town & a stone throw from the world class V&A Waterfront. Seamless check-in & amazing staff & service. Spacious room & bathroom & super comfy extra-large double bed. Has all the facilities of a 5-star hotel. Not the fanciest 5-star hotel but something special about staying here - ambience, atmosphere & vibe. Lovely breakfast spread & highly organised despite the large crowds. Oldish but immaculately preserved.

Everything about the Westin Cape Town exceeded our expectations, the location was a 12 minute walk from the waterfront which has amazing bars and restaurants as well as up market shops. The food and service at Breakfast and Dinner was stunning served by the most wonderful and friendly staff. All staff members were unbelievably friendly, helpful and contributed to our lovely lovely holiday.

Having to leave

Ideally located between Long Street and the V&A Waterfront and connected via canal cruise. The staff were all extremely friendly and courteous. Spa facilities are great and open until 10pm. The executive lounge has a great view and food and drinks available were very good.

The outdoor pool area is quite small and next to road.

The location (attended a conference held at the westin), easy drive from the airport. Walking distance or quick Uber to the waterfront. the view from the room was amazing. The spa facilities and pool on the top floor was incredible. Food was amazing - good breakfast, lunch catering for conference, top notch! Liked that each floor was access controlled, felt safe.

Decor in restaurant and front entrance a bit dated, needs a bit of a revamp. Did ask for housekeeping to send water and other necessary items, but never received it. Aircon didn’t work well to cool the room, even at night. Service was a bit of a hit or miss - some staff very friendly and helpful, and others simply not. Wouldn’t recommend for tourists looking for authentic SA experience.

Fantastic breakfast and amazing service! A special thanks to Raynor the restaurant manager, and Moegama, Francine and Carol for fantastic service and constant smiles. The range of food was immense. Reception staff and travel desk staff were always on hand to help and the spa facilities were incredible. Can’t wait to go back!

Gym is very small with limited machines - could do with a larger area and squat racks as well as machines for chest press, seated row and bicep curls.

The location is superb!. It is close to the waterfront and to the city center. The room was excellent, very comfy, with all you need, good desk and connection. The bath was big. You can find everything you need in this place, good restaurant, good bar. Breakfast has options for everyone.

There was a funny smell coming out from the shower pipes. Except for that it was nice.

Location is fantastic and the staff are all amazing! I cannot thank the staff enough for making my stay so good, so a Big THANK YOU to all the staff and I am looking forward to my next stay with you in a few weeks. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and well laid out. Highly recommend the hotel as it is only a few minutes from the Waterfront and shopping malls. Great for families and business travel.

The meals, breakfast especially where the food is usually cold so more attention should be placed on serving hot food. No business centre, they should have this in such a hotel where we can have seating areas with the correct height of desks for working on your computer, great to have meetings in and give the hotel a more International appeal for business use.
