Room was spacious clean and was very comfortable! The bed was comfy and blackout blinds and thick windows meant could not hear any noise. Room was cleaned multiple times when we were there for a 5 day stay and towels changed without having to ask. Lovely staff and very helpful! Spa was luxurious and perfect way to start a break!

Pool needed to be a bit cleaner...bit milky by the middle of the day which is understandably often the case in a hot country and everyone using their sun block and having a dip but could perhaps use a bit more TLC!

The hotel is right in the city centre and right next to the beach. It's not far from any of the major amenities. The room was the right size, and there was enough storage space for all my belongings. I liked the minibar fridge, although the drinks provided were a bit expensive. Nevertheless, I could use the fridge for keeping my own drinks in. The room came with a table and chair. The balcony looked out onto the beach, and you could see the hills and buildings in the background. Even the castle could be seen from the balcony. I even liked the bidet in the bathroom, which I used every day. Also, the housekeeping staff stopped tidying the rooms late afternoon, which is later than most hotels in GB. This means you don't need to worry about your room still being untidy if you leave the hotel too late in the day.

My room had a king-sized bed, which I don't like. I don't like the extra room in such beds. I was given the choice of two single beds or a double bed, and I selected two single beds, but I reckon I was given only what was available. The screen on the shower wasn't so good. Some of the water flooded out of the shower, onto the bathroom floor. It's just as well I always had enough towels to use to catch the water, but it was still a bit of a nuisance. The drinks in the minibar were a bit expensive, but that is expected. Still, at least I could use the minibar fridge for my own drinks.

Staff were lovely and very accommodating. the hotel itself is in a great location very close to the beach and a 10 minute walk into the old town where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is lovely ( lobby could do with a bit of modernisation) and the rooms were a great size with super comfy beds. Breakfast ws very well catered with plenty of options.

The pool is okay. Not bad but okay. This could be improved as it is one of the main features most guests are looking for and I was a little disappointed. On the plus side they do offer pool side service.

Beautiful breakfast; great selection of everything ; fabulous views from every table. Lovely staff in restaurant. Most reception staff very helpful ; lovely promenade from behind the hotel all the way to the beach; hotel so convenient for marina restaurants and the old town;

Pool was too cold, restaurant lacked atmosphere in the evening ; rooms with sea view didn’t get sunshine from early morning ; rooms on marina side were noisy ; very surprised that someone (unfriendly) came into our room every day to check fridge stock even though we said we hadn’t used anything ; prices of mini bar too expensive

Nice, comfortable, clean and spacious bedroom. Location was fantastic: close to to the city centre/restaurants/sightseeing. Pool was enjoyable and quiet. Spa experience was excellent and great value for money. Breakfast (when arrived early) was good. Pool staff member (senior colleague) VERY kind and helpful!

Staff made no extra effort to help us celebrate our honeymoon. Junior reception, breakfast and Spa staff seemed uninterested and disengaged. Breakfast offerings after 09:30 were extremely poor and limited. 1 pool was out of service and we had drilling noises from the maintenance work.

The location was ideal. The balcony overlooked the marina, interesting view. Beds and pillows luxurious. Rooms cleaned daily. Reception staff very obliging and efficient.. The hotel was ideally located with beach on one side and marina on other. Also close to transport. The tramline and bus services (including the airport bus) within a few yards. Within walking distance of the castle lift.

Only the bistro available for meals. Restaurant only open for breakfast, not dinner. We were there in March, so it may have been opened later in the season. Could have done with air con as it was exceptionally warm for march.

The location is amazing. so central and right on the beach. The rooms are lovely - airy and big and the balconies are lovely too. Breakfast is also excellent. Staff super helpful and friendly. Amazing views from the bar and breakfast room. We have been many times and plan to return again.

the beds- the duvet is just laid between two sheets and is tucked in around all sides. I had to fight my way to get into the bed each night and then try to not move too much so the duvet stayed covered by the sheets. was pretty gross really and don’t know why they didn’t just use a duvet cover.

Room was lovely with great views of the Marina and the city. Staff very friendly and helpful. Also getting the sun on on the balcony in the evening was a bonus. Spa was lovely, and the sea views from the foyer where breath-taking. Great location within walking distance to all the main amenities. Booked to go back in November.

Paying extra for Spa facilities I think is a bit much considering this is not the cheapest of hotels to stay in. Breakfast also expensive so we opted to go into the city every morning which was actually fabulous as we found some lovely cafes for breakfast.

The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The bed was very comfortable.

The swimming pool photograph on the website is very misleading. The access to the pool was broken, the roof leaks(it was raining) and the water was !!&*%£ cold to say the least. The "maintenance man" did fix the doors but overall impression was not good for the price you pay for the hotel. We went to a Joaquin Sabina concert in the Bullring and returned to the hotel at JUST after midnight to find the bar closed. Again, for the price you pay at a premium hotel in Spain with allegedly vibrant nightlife we were again disappointed.

Room was lovely, huge bed, coffee machine was good once I found how to use. Air con was on making room cold when I arrived, no instructions how to change. Nice bathroom walk in shower with powerful shower & rain shower, personally would prefer bath, good hair dryer. Wardrobe on small side with no place for shoes. Great location. Good breakfast but no weetabix.

For a deluxe room the balcony was small, could only see the marina & city, had family in standard room with bigger balcony and view of the sea, marina and city. Would have preferred bath with shower than the walk in shower. Bathroom was quite dark, bulbs in both lights over sink not working.
