I loved the breakfast, that was one of the reasons I picked this hotel. However, I like mixing wall nuts in my yogurt, and they were missing. Otherwise they have a very wide selection of sweet and savoury (the sweet section was really hard to resist - they have fresh pastry and a home made cake every morning). Coffee was available 24/7. Location was excellent, just walking distance from Placa Catalunya and major shopping. Staff was amazing, especially my welcome was unusually friendly, thank you receptionist :-) Everything was clean, the room was spacious and beds were comfortable..

It was very hot outside and the air con in my room smelled a little. I had to sleep with it on and even on minimum, it was blowing quite a lot .

Prime location: walking distance to Casa Batlló, Casa Milá (La Pedrera), Sagrada Família; La Rambla; Barrio Gótico; Bus at door; Subway about 5 to 7 minute walk; Really good breakfast; restaurants all over; minimarket just at 30meters; outside terrace; wonderful reading/working room; great wifi (free); perfect daily cleaning; super friendly and really helpful staff; beautiful architecture and design.

Even though the room was really spacious with some natural light during the day, and was super quiet, it was an interior room with no outside view and balcony. We were a party of 4: 2 children and 2 adults, so maybe this was the only available type of room. In the end, due to all other positive things, it wasn´t a bother.

My friend and I stayed in Barcelona for 10 days. Hotel Granvia made our trip 100% better. The location was superb we walked to all tourist places on foot and the neighborhood had hip cafes and restaurants to try out. The air conditioning and room condition was perfect after a hot day under the sun. Thanks to the great staff especially Andres, they made our trip extra special. Also, the hotel smells great :) especially in the entrance. It felt like home during our long stay in Barcelona. The breakfast was great too but there are really great brunch places nearby.

The bathroom is quite small but the shower water pressure and cleanliness is great!

Modern, CLEAN, fragrant and nicely decorated boutique hotel in a busy tourist area just a few minutes walk from Plaça de Catalunya. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and taxis are plentiful. The front desk is manned 24/7. The neighborhood is lively and feels safe to walk, even late at night and despite the occasional homeless person / panhandler. Short walks to La Rambla, Gothic Quarter, Gaudi houses and luxury shopping along Passeig de Gràcia. Longer walks to Sagrada Familia, Monument a Colom and Arc de Triomf. BONUS: There is a spacious and comfortable lounge on the first floor connected to the breakfast area and an outdoor sitting space - really nice to relax - open 24/7 with a fabulous espresso maker and water.

Remarkable time at this hotel. The staff was friendly enough after a 10 hour flight from the 🇺🇸 to check me earlier (truly made my day). The room was confortable, clean, and big. I did the breakfast buffet almost everyday because the food was tasty and had a lot of variety. I love how well located it was fright there in Gran Via, with easy access to any sort of transportation you could ask. once again, the staff was friendly and attentive, and ultimately it came down to how nice these folks are to their customers. I will definitely come back to Barcelona since it is such a magical city and most definitely, I will stay here again. This place is perfect!

Very clean , big room, big bathroom with everything you need. Hotel in the center of barcelona, you can reach the most important atraction by foot. Beautifull like in the picture ..you feal like you are in a little castel. Big terrace where you can stay when you want and drink cofee or tea for free. Best staff ever: At the reception they give us cocktails for free, I loved the one with vodka curacao sparkling water and vanilla; they make us a surprise for my wife birthday and bring us cake with a candle 2 glass of champagne and sang happy birthday. we have a problem with the flights and we have to leave before breakfast and they make for us 2 bags of picnic with sandwiches , cookies, fruits , juice and water; they help us with information about the city atraction ,etc. Everything was perfect! For sure we will come back at Granvia !

Great location and building design. You can walk everywhere in the central area, the personnel is extremely kind and thoughtful. They helped keep my luggage as I arrived earlier than the check-in hours and they surprised us with cake and champagne on my birthday. We had a room facing the boulevard, it was not as noisy as you would expect. We haven't tried the breakfast. Cleaning was okay.

The initial room allocated had a problem with the bathroom smell, but they managed to switch to another one.

Location is really great. Staff is very attentive and helpful. Room has a good size. Architecture on ground and first floor is super nice

Really not relevant to all people, but I’m very sensitive to smells and the hotel, although very carefully maintained, is a bit old and carpet for me was smelling a bit like naphthalene.
