The room was spotless and cleaned everyday. The breakfast whilst presenting as basic was fabulous. Fresh cakes, juice, teas and coffees and a selection of hot eggs and bacon as well as cereal, and continental options. I could not have asked for any more. The bar service was very good and reasonably priced. Location was perfect. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants although at this time of year there was very little open in the evening.

I could not find anything to complain about. Fantastic, location and value for money.

The room was excellent with a balcony and sea view. We used a nearby supermarket to get breakfast and enjoyed it on the balcony. This is a 2 star hotel but the cleanliness was immaculate and the attention to servicing the room was excellent. It has an indoor swimming pool and cafe bar as well as a restaurant. The food was good value but there are lots of closeby restaurants to offer choice. The best feature was the location. A 3 minute walk straight onto the beach so it was easy to go between the beach and the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful so it made for a good stay. As well as the beach there was a fabulous park 10 minutes away that gave a beautiful walk to the port

This hotel provided excellent value for money but you should know there are some things that aren't here as a result. The TV was all in Spanish. Not unreasonable for a hotel in Spain but may affect some international travellers. It didn't bother us. There wasn't a kettle in the room so no tea for the British, however again easily dealt with. The cafe gave us hot water, teas and coffees that we took back to the room. There isn't a hairdryer in each room but you can borrow one from reception but have to take it back when you're finished. Considering the value and plus points these are minor points but worth knowing before you get there.

All the staff were so lovely, greeting you wherever our paths crossed. We had a great sea view from our room which was a lovely surprise. The bed was so comfortable and we slept really well. Room was at all times a great temperature. The location is fantastic, close to beach, shops, restaurants. Guardamar is a wonderful place to visit with lots to do and see. We didn't eat in the restaurant, so can't comment.

Very little to say in this bit. As with so many Good Value For Money Hotels the rooms could do with a bit of TLC but as I said totally expected and no way did that spoil a wonderful stay in the Hotel Guardamar. We loved everything about our stay.

The location is fabulous, with great views of the beach and very close to walk to lots of bars, restaurants, Mercadona supermarket, and other shops as well as the beautful sandy beaches and beach bars. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean; there is a very nice cafeteria/bar on the ground floor, and an inside pool/spa pool. The building is designed so every (good size patio) faces toward the beach. The room had a small refrigerator, and a lovely bathroom, with plenty of room for storage, and walking around the bed... very spacious.

It was a bit noisy; there is no road noise at all - it was mostly other guests yelling into their mobile phones whilst standing on the balcony, and then when our neighbours came home late and chatted outside in the corridor and then crashed around their room. I don't think there is much insulation! There is nothing the hotel could do about that type of noise. The only other tiny complaint - the toilet seat is not properly affixed and rattled.

The location of the hotel was wonderful - 2 minutes from the beach and the restaurants. We had a nice view of the ocean and a private balcony. The food was excellent. Buffet breakfast was available, but we chose a simpler Spanish breakfast in the cafeteria. ALL of the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

I was surprised that they offered a typical Spanish schedule for meals - meaning "late". Lunch was not available until 14:00 and dinner, 20:00. Even in the cafeteria, the kitchen wasn't open until 20:00. We were there in early June and it's possible they have an expanded schedule during high season.

Slight problem on the evening of my birthday when we booked for evening meal in restaurant - I ordered merluza which stated ( no bones ) in menu. When our meals arrived the merluza was on the bone and with skin. The waiter came to the table and trued to de bone the fish but it was impossible. So I had to wait while they cooked another metluza for me. So my husband had almost finished his meal by the time mine arrived. However they did apologise - it was the main chefs night off and the other chef did not know the merluza was supposed to be boned. They also brought us a dessert with a birthday candle and sung to me and gave us a small glass of cava as well free of charge. There can always be a mistake and they certainly tried to apologise in the best way.

We were selling a property in La Marina, and for sentimental reasons did not want to stay in the property. Therefore we needed to book a local Hotel, as we know Guardamar well since buying in 2021, we decided on Hotel Guardamar. It turned out to be an inspired choice, recently updated I think.The staff were really friendly and helpful, nice bar in the evening, and nice food in the restaurant. We are still intending to visit the area occasionally, as we have friends there, and there is no question of where we will stay next time.

Not much springs to mind really. Good all round.

The hotel was in a perfect location. Right next to the beach .shops restaurants etc ..was spotlessly clean .the staff were very attentive and nothing was to much trouble..the rooms were big and beds really comfy...how this is only as a 2 star beggars belief it should definitely be more .also the price was amazing. Cheap but definitely worth more x

A very unassuming hidden gem in Guadarmar del Segura. The reception was bright and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable with a small balcony that gave you an amazing view of the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. My Spanish is not fluent but the staff were happy to converse in English. Great location for access to restaurants and the beach and beachfront. We went to the Royal Coliseum dinner show which was a short taxi ride away. We had a fab weekend. Highly recommend this hotel. The price was excellent value for money.

Only thing I could find fault with were the 'scrambled eggs'. They looked like the eggs had been dropped in the pan and mixed around, so more like stirred up fried eggs! My husband ate them and said they tasted fine, but they weren't very appealing on the eye. Otherwise everything else was geest.

Rita was very welcoming as were all the team there. Found me a kettle, provided lots of extra pillows which i needed due to a respiratory condition 😊 View of the sea from the balcony and hearing the sea was perfect. Quaint little hotel Had a lift and was disabled friendly Lovely pool area, indoors, lighting was relaxing Some shops nearby And a few nice places to each Just a few minutes walk to a lovely beach..perfect
