Hotel LIVVO Volcán Lanzarote

The club facilities, the live evening music. The brilliant architecture, felt like a village and not a hotel.

Pool service attendant, non existent! Housekeeping in public areas, floor in bar not cleared in three days. General cleaning around the pool area poor. Major refurbishment required in some area to retain the exclusivity of the site

our room was really lovely. very clean and well decorated. a comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. lots of room and storage. great balcony too. we liked the location of the hotel and the proximity of the marina. we also liked the spa and the gym and the pool area. very friendly staff.

the breakfasts were ok but often the bacon etc under the lamps was luke warm. we would have preferred the coffee/tea to have been served to us rather than have to keep getting up to help ourselves. we had dinner the first night and felt it was very poor for a five star hotel. not a great choice and it was almost cold. we wouldn’t eat dinner in the hotel again.

Great location, great hard-working staff, superb breakfast choice, nice room with sea view, plenty of parking available outside the hotel, close to lots of bars and restaurants.

The surface surrounding the swimming pools is slippery when wet. I saw a man step out of the main pool, slip and knock himself out. He was unconcious for a couple of minutes. No medical help was immediately available, apart from a medically qualified guest. It took a while for an ambulance to arrive.

Main pool was very cold. Room hairdryer was not powerful enough Hairdryers need to be at least 2000 W To dry hair quickly The type on wall are not good at all. Sun bed mattress would be nice . Beds were too hard needed to ask for a topper Some quests were putting towels out to reserve beds Sometimes not using them for hours

The Club was excellent, just as it was 4 years ago. Loved the quietness. The complentary bar in the evening is always delightful. Staff and facilities were excellent.

The quality of some of the cooked food was a little below standard, but this is a minor complaint. Some of the other guests hogging multiple, unused sun beds was irritatingand frustrating . Beds are not for drying items of clothing, especially when there are guests seeking a lounger. Staff should've intervened.

The layout of the hotel is fantastic with the central ‘volcano’ peaceful and calming with the waterfall and lush green background brilliantly designed. So much space and areas to sunbathe makes this a wonderful hotel and very different to most ‘normal’ hotels. I would say that it almost feels that you are not staying in a hotel but more like a small village.

Nothing really but the rooms (our room anyway) are just looking a lit bit tired and in need of a makeover. I would want to stress however that this in now way detracted from our overall satisfaction of the hotel.

Wonderful swimming pools, ideal for relaxing after visiting something outside during the day. Our daughter loved them very much. Comfortable room. Beautiful environment. SPA option. Very wide choice for breakfast. Kind personnel. The price is quite high, but in line with the market, maybe even a bit cheap compared to other hotel at this level.

Location: I think the south of Lanzarote is overvalued, compared to the north. But still it makes sense to stay there some time. The hotel could be a bit more children-friendly: the concerts in the evenings were all quite late and for adults (I mean not children-specific), at least during our stay.

The staff were excellent, especially Valeria Manzano (Restaurantes) who helped us with amazing contacts to organise our forward flight to Gran Canaria, this was more than the hotels reception staff could do. all the reatauant staff in the “ Club “ section were so cheerful and helpful.

the main cafeteria, the choice of Gluten free food, for such a large and 5* hotel was disgusting, the food was also cold, the only way to get old was to go to one off the other restaurants in the hotel and pay a lot more money on top of what had been paid for half board, it was understandable why so many guest chose to eat in the restaurants outside of the hotel.

The pool was amazing, the hotel itself is really beautiful and unique and very close to the marina and lots of bars and shopping stores

The food was OK and I expected a lot more from five stars hotel. Furthermore, we came with a baby and a stroller and had to climb some stairs with her to get to our room. The hotel should improve the accessibility of its facilities. The last thing is that upon arrive to the room we had no wifi and the phone didn't work. Again. I this price and with this rating i expected more.
