Great location, spacious rooms

Minor thing I found with most European hotels…the pillows.

Location was great. Room was super clean and comfortable. Check in (next door at sister hotel) was easy with friendly staff. The woman facilitating the breakfast was the BEST! So pleasant and helpful with any and all needs/requests.

The only item worth a critical comment was the shower. I was aware from previous reviews that the bathroom was a bit outdated, which for me, is a non-issue. Being in a single room on the top floor, the tub/shower ceiling was on an angle and required that I stoop a bit in order to stand under the shower; I'm a woman of average height. Managing this was not a big deal for me, but I can imagine for other, less agile travelers, it could be.

Excellent value for money. Really close to everything. Check in was easy next door in continental hotel. The room was large and had a big terrace although too cold to sit out there. It was warm with plenty of space for clothing. Separate area with tv and table. Breakfast was excellent. Continental with lots of everything and the staff were constantly refilling it all. Only 2 star but I have stayed in 3 stars which were not as good. We stayed in room 12 on first floor. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Pillows were a bit flat for us!!

It's basic,, but immaculately clean, well maintained and the room was very spacious. We had comfortable beds, a good bathroom and shower, good storage (including a safe), a desk, a seating area with a couple chairs and a coffee table, plus a balcony. Everything you need, but without frills.

They could have used a couple posters on the walls (even cheap touristy ones) to give the room some colour, and help it feel less utilitarian, but that's only a minor grumble.

I stayed in a single room (twin bed) with a private bathroom, which was nice and very clean. The room had a terrace that is probably beautiful in warmer months. I LOVED the ski storage area with a boot warming rack and was grateful for the speedy lift. I didn’t realize breakfast was included and was a lovely surprise even if it was simple fair. It was very nice to have coffee order service and I enjoyed the espressos and cappuccinos. I was pleasantly surprised the hotel is as close to the train station and ski lift e-bus pickup/drop off spot as it is, as well as a ski rental shop and grocery store.

It’s an older property and VERY noisy. If I wasn’t wearing ear plugs, I could hear my neighbors singing in the shower, their phone buzzing, their tv, the lightest step above me, etc. It’s not very walkable to the Glacier Express gondola, which would have been a 20 minute walk uphill in ski boots if not for the e-bus. Thankfully, the closest e-bus station is the first pick up spot en route to the gondola, which means you don’t have to hope it’s not full upon pick up. The security lock box didn’t work but the staff was trustworthy. The Wi-Fi slowed during peak hours when everyone was in their rooms.

Everything, traditional Swiss Chalet style family hotel, rooms have everything you need, comfortable bed, good wardrobe space, multi channel tv hairdryer fridge, hi speed wifi, everything you can think of, simple, spotless and i could not fault the hotel. Breakfast included was continental and more than adequate. This lovely small hotel is situated just off the centre of the main street where all the shops bars and restaurants are and is only a short 5 min walk from the train station. A gem of a hotel. thankyou for your hospitality.

If i could put more than 10 I would, because it is awesome hotel. 1 - great location. 3 mins from central train station walking and what’s important - no hills, if you have heavy luggage you do not nee go uphills 2 - clean and tidy. One of the most clean hotel for me, and staff was able to clean room quickly when I’m on breakfast 3 - room - big, cozy, well equipped. For those who writes “old furniture” they didn’t get it is not old but unique, much better than faceless ikea, very authentic 4 - good view to mountains, calm accommodation 5 - breakfast simple, Joghurts, cereals, couple kinds of cheese, ham, croissants, eggs. Do not expect too much here

The location of the hotel is very near the station but in a peaceful place. Lots of eating options around particularly Golden India restaurant, which had many vegetarian options. The manager at the reception was extremely courteous. He made all things available to us like table fan, universal adaptor, kettle, etc. The breakfast area was quite spacious. The hotel had an elevator so carrying luggage was not an issue

The room temperature was quite warm so we had asked for table-fan but that was not only for this hotel but for all the places in Switzerland. Normally, these hotels do not have ACs. The view from the room was not great as it looked straight into somebody's apartment. We had to put the curtains all the time.

Excellent location, excellent price point, value for money. Staff at check-in was efficient and friendly. Balcony offers gorgeous views at the upper floors.

We had three rooms altogether, ours had a pungent stench but not the other two rooms. Stench gone once we opened up the balcony doors to air the room. The basin/sink was small and had to be careful not to knock into the cabinet that is placed right on top of the small basin.

Great location, views, breakfast, and space in the double bedroom. It's an older place so the interior and carpet will feel dTed but the overall design of the place has an authentic and fun Swiss vibe.

Unclear how exactly to control the heat through the radiator, directions on that would have been nice. The ghost lobby with adjacent property reception was fine except when I had a question and got back to late to.ask (closed at 7pm)
