Central location, lovely modern alpine chic decoration, excellent breakfast, lovely bar and restaurant in evening, delicious food and good selection of fine wine, great ski room with heated ski boot dryers in each locker!

The breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of food, and it was always prepared very well. It was great that I could order a food item that was not available at the food bar, such as an omelet or hot chocolate. In addition, if I didn't feel like going out to dinner after a long day of exploring Zermatt, room service was convenient with a great selection of food and drinks. Fresh and Delicious food overall!

I don't believe that there was anything I didn't like. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ambience of the hotel was great. My hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. I love how I could go out in the "back yard" of my room and relax outside. Overall, I had a wonderful stay. In addition, the hotel is very convenient - a short walk to the train station, shops, supermarket, etc. I would definitely come back to Schweizerhoff Zermatt Hotel!

The hotel, the rooms, the staff, the amenities were just awesome, felt extremely pampered with that touch of class that it is hard to provide naturally. Decoration everywhere is superb, with lots of tiny details. Very very good breakfast, waiters so attentive. Large and very comfortable rooms. Very helpful transportation from Tasch to the hotel, without the need to take the train to Zermatt.

The main issue to me is the lack of AC, which in summer is important. Understand this is a Zermatt town policy. The rooms have large windows and rapidly provided a fan upon my request. Bathroom is quite small.

Zermatt is amazing. The fairy tale story begins when the cute red electric car of the hotel picks you up. We booked 2 connecting rooms: Matterhorn suite and Matterhorn view room. The view from both rooms is so beautiful I felt like if the mountains are hugging me. You can hear birds sound in the morning. We stayed for 3 nights during the first week of July and the weather was very good. I opened the windows for ventilation and had to close them later in evening as weather get cold. There is balcony in both rooms. The hotel is elegant and clean. Breakfast was very good as they provide tasty fresh croissant. If you have kids visiting with you it is best option as the hotel is in in the center and coop supermarket is nearby.

The only negative part is the smoke from grilling food by the restaurant in the yard in front of us and loud music. The restaurant closes around 8 pm so you can enjoy quite time and fresh air afterwards.

Very comfortable and stylish place! Great staff, accommodating. Fantastic massage and facial, must try! food in the restaurant was excellent, cocktails in the bar - delicious. They have ski rental, so you don't need to search for one. The fantastic hotel overall.

Room 103 was next to the staff room, so every early morning, it was very loud, people were talking, preparing things (so it was the sound of glass bottles and trolley with supplements, I guess). So this room needs better isolation. Ask for another if you are a sensitive sleeper.

Great location close to Gornegrat and Zermatt railway stations. Nice atmosphere in bar/lobby and nice breakfast/pool boot room facilities

Dining area dangerous with many hidden steps, blinding up-lights. My wife almost broke her forearm and sustained massive brusing going from dining table to bathroom first night. Apparently somebody broke their leg same spot last year but for some bizarre reason hotel management won't close off gap with potted plant

Location of this hotel is just perfect. Just in center, 3 min by foot from the train. Design of the hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious and modern and the restaurant is very good - highly recommended. Special thank you to Csaba for taking such good care of us and to Andrei- for the really warm and professional service.

All was very good. Maybe one small thing - the room was a bit too warm during night time, but we just opened the window and the fresh mountain air cooled the room.

Great location, decor, restaurants and charming staff

Monday morning, we were deafened by incessant drilling above the breakfast restaurant. Such a shame after a lovely weekend stay. Unfortunately the staff were not informed when the building works were going to start or be at their worst so were unable to advise when we should come to breakfast. 30 minutes after breakfast had ended the drilling stopped! Room rather small for a junior suite but newly fitted out and well designed.

We liked the room and how spacious it was as well as the beautiful view of the Matterhorn, the restaurant was also really beautiful and the breakfast each morning was delicious, so many options as well as a rather large vegan/gluten free section. definitely recommend the hot chocolate if you can. The staff were very friendly and helpful for planning activities too.

The location is great in regards to how close it is to the train station, but its not obvious from the street where the entrance/check-in for the hotel is, we passed it thinking it was maybe around a corner since the entrance looks like a restaurant but you have to walk through a little tunnel and into the restaurant where the hostess station is. We also experienced unseasonably warm weather and the rooms got pretty warm at night even with the windows open so maybe having fans or AC would have helped but it wasn't a huge deal, we were pretty beat from the day that we slept pretty well regardless but it took a while to get to sleep and we would occasionally wake up from being a little too warm.

Stylistic boutique hotel, great vibe, good bar with high-end atmosphere and draws the right crowd. Room is nicely styled, makes you feel at hone, clean estetique design, quality furniture, neat Marshall speaker and a few select books adorn the wall to give it a modern hone feel. Oh, and there’s a good sized balcony with views of the Matterhorn and the Main Street. Wonderful, and not sure why it’s not a 5 star - I had been to 5 star properties in Switzerland which weren’t nearly as nice luxurious or comfortable.
