Our overall stay at Hotel Arca was amazing. The staff was very accommodating. The location of the hotel is perfect as it was really close to the train station. We had a very spacious apartment. Views from the balconies were amazing! We also really loved the heated swimming pool available for guests.

Excellent. Highly recommend to anyone who loves the mountains. Highest quality standards in everything. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The staff speaks several languages. The view from our balcony to the north was enchanting. Mountains, goats, helicopters, paragliders, and sunrises. Quiet. No noise. Nothing disturbed our sleep. Excellent breakfast. Brilliant cheese list. Indeed, not every five-star hotel will have such quality breakfasts. Amazing heated pool, various saunas, hydromassage. Spacious, comfortable room. Cleaning every day. It is really useful to have a full mini kitchen where you can have a snack in the evening before going to bed. Central location. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, supermarket and other transport links to visit all the beauties of the resort. We were enchanted. Thank you to all the staff of Arca Solebad and Spa. This is the best place in Zermatt.

Location. The big room & big balcony with view of the Matterhorn. Enjoy sitting at the balcony & looking out at the majestic Matterhorn. From the balcony, you can watch the paragliders as they landed on the hill opposite the hotel. You can also see & hear the sheep’s from the balcony in the morning as they grazing on the grass on the hill. We love the newly renovated heated pool. We did full body massage in the pool as it has pressure jet spray to loosen our tight muscle after our hiking trips. Hotel also has 3 different type of sauna rooms. We love the Turkish bath room the most. It has beautiful aromatic therapeutic fragrance & helps us to relax after a long day. The room has a tiny kitchen with a stove. We can cook simple meals.

Very few cooking equipments in the kitchen

The hotel is great value for money. The triple room was huge. It had 2 bathrooms, and a huge balcony. Zermatt is a small town with only limited electric vehicles allowed, but this location is pretty neat. Its 6 mins of a walk from the main railway station, and rest of the town is very walkable from here. The Gornegrat Railway station is right by there.

The breakfast is okay, but limited hot food options for "Asian Vegetarians". Need to add more hot Vegetarian options that dont include eggs (such as hash browns/ roasted potatoes (Rosti)). The hotel went a little too all out on "Dont take items out of the Buffet". They had it written on the keycard covers, in the room brochure and one each and every table. I dont know if its such a big deal, and I do understand the hotels stance on this, but it is quite an overkill to write it around at so many places. It sends a bad message about the hotel.

Breakfast is excellent. Salt water pool with massage jets are a blast! Some sauna rules can be confusing.

Room was good but facing north so no sun in the balcony. But if you spend most time on the slope it does not matter.

This location is ideal - easy access from/to the train station. Very personal touch… Really liked the way the staff mingled with us… Everything such as clean, comfortable.

Everything was perfect!

I like the location as it is walking distance to the train station and the Zermatt town. Love the breakfast as there is a huge spread and the food is delicious. There are rice and noodles as well to cater to Asians, which it is very thoughful of the hotel. The balcony has a nice view and a great place to hang the washed laundry. I like the kitchen too as I can cook my own meals.

The second bedroom is at the loft, accessible via a flight of stairs, so be prepared to carry the luggage up. Kitchen is small, only 2 people in it.

Maybe have a larger pan of scrambled eggs available during breakfast? Make sure that guests know sunroof windows open during summer and how to open them. It can get hot in the loft sleeping area without opening those windows.

Great place to stay in Zermatt. The room was much bigger than expected. Just a short walk from the train station. Close enough to the center of town to walk to everything but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. The breakfast buffet is quite diverse. Be certain not to miss the cheese buffet with an incredible selection of Swiss, French and Italian cheeses. There is a Denner grocery store right up the street. We bought food for hiking and for dinner two of the nights we were there. Our room had a kitchenette which really saved us a lot of money. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked a room with a Matterhorn view and sunrise on the mountain was stunning!

Loved everything about the hotel. Restaurants in Zermatt are very expensive. Treat yourself to one night, then cook dinner in your room and eat on the balcony. The best view we had was from our room.

Well located, close the train station. It is walking distance from the town center and very close to the train for climbing up the hill, if you plan to climb via the gondolas, it is a bit further. Amenities are good, personal very attentive and nice. The rooms have separated shower from the toilet/bathtub, which is very convenient, a plus for the hotel. From the terrace you have a nice view of the hills.
