The hotel is new and clean. The bathroom was the best, very modern and the bed is comfortable. There is a space downstairs to leave the luggage while waiting for the check-in and a room where we can take tea. The hotel is 10mins walk from the center which is not bad. I recommend this hotel

There is a big balcony in the room, which is good but with no privacy at all. we could see the people on the front working in their office and they could see us too. Also, we can see the people from the next room on their balcony. If we are both on our balcony at the same time, it feels a bit awkward!

We were given the room on the top floor which has transparent roof with natural lighting coming through. It was so beautiful especially when it was snowing.

Probably can provide kettle in the room.

As advertised. Got a small room with bunk beds. Theres a ski bus that service the town of Zermatt, as soon as you get off the main train station bus stop is across ride for 2 stops and walk another 3 mins. The check in and means of communication is all online and very seamless. You can use the code send online to get in and out of the facility or can make your own key card in a counter near the elevator. Ski room is a plus. Theres microwave and kettle available to use., and a bar/ counter to eat. Theres vending machine for snacks but no restaurant on site and about 5 min walk to the nearest grocery. Downtown is only 10 mins away. The room has its own private bathroom with soap and shampoo provided. Daily house keeping is a plus. Over all a good value staying in Zermatt!

No washing machine for guest to use. The lower bed’s frame was damaged so its a lil uncomfortable to lah on. The bunk bed’s steps is a lil on the small side., so I can see that it could be a hazard.

Hotel is a fantastic option if you're on a budget in Zermatt - it's very affordable, rooms were comfortable, decent size and the location is decent (for what you pay for). The room had a very generous storage area for all your luggage - and there's a ski boot room in the basement. The beds were comfortable, housekeeping came by everyday to clean the room and its a 10 minute walk to the Sunegga along one flat road (no climbing stairs - which if you've been to Zermatt you know is hard to avoid!).

The room was VERY hot, even when we turned our thermostat down as low as it could go we still had to open the door before bed to let cool air in. We tried sleeping with the door open but its quite noisy at night outside. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Zermatt near the helipad and where all the cars/taxis etc seem to gather (because Zermatt is a 'no car' town). Other downside for me was the shower - the water was on a timer, so rather than turning the taps on and off freely, you had to push a button down which released water for a very short time. If you're trying to wash your hair, you'll need to push the button quite a few times which is a bit annoying - but not a deal breaker. At least the water pressure was good!

Peaky Riders is exactly what I looked for in a hotel. The structure of the hotel is almost new, the rom is a perfect size, excellent bed and a big TV screen. The bathroom was also good to take a good shower after a busy day. It has a perfect heating that keeps a pleasant temperature throughout the hotel, and there’s a cozy ambient music in the common areas. As Switzerland is an expensive place to eat out in restaurants, the hotel offers a shared kitchen where guests can heat up something bought at the market, which is very useful. The staff was amazing, they provided all the information for a quick and easy checkin/checkout. The hotel is not exactly located in the heath of the town, but it's close to the free bus station, so it’s quite easy to get around.

The automatic shower shut-off mechanism is annoying. I know it's useful for saving expensive water, but this doesn't help in that way, it just annoys guests.

The location was a bit on the edge of Zermatt, but still within 10-15 minutes walking from the train station (a good thing for us, less crowded area). Self checkin was easy and quick, the room was nice and clean. There are 2 vending machines in the lobby, one which provides you with your morning coffee. There was also enough storage in the room to place your luggage etc...

The pillows were veeeery soft and didn't have much filling. My girlfriend used a little inflatable pillow under hers. The price was also a bit high, but I don't think that is the Peaky Riders fault - Zermatt is an expensive place and Peaky Riders was still the most affordable option.

Great, modern room with large tv and ample charging outlets. Comfortable bed with solid wifi. Exceptional staff and customer service. I had originally booked my room ahead of a hiking trip on the Tour de Monte Rosa. I lost a day on my hike due to heavy rains, pushing my timetable back 24 hours. Stefania at Peaky Riders allowed me to adjust my booking to accommodate my delayed arrival— no questions asked and with no additional charges. While most hotels would have been happy to take my money and to offer no assistance, Peaky Riders went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasant one!

A good basic hotel for an overnight stay or a mountain sports holiday - the beds were comfy, the room was compact but had everything you needed and it was good having towels and toiletries and nice being on the river an easy walk from the station. It was also one of the cheapest places to stay in Zermatt and for Zermatt was good value for money. Nice having a snack snug in the basement with kettle, tea and microwave.

The room would be a bit small if you wanted to stay for a long time or spend a lot of time in your hotel, but was fine for an overnight stay and there's so much to do outdoors that wasn't a problem! :) Timer shower was annoying - would be better if you could turn it on and leave it on. Otherwise all good.

Clean room, modern design, and complete amenities. Self check in and self check out were very handy. The location is accessible and you can walk for 10 mins from Zermatt station

We booked the room with a balcony with a view of the mountains. However, upon arrival, we were surprised that the view was obstructed by the scaffoldings beside due to the constructions ongoing. I have messaged the management, and they have responded quickly and informed me that there was a delay on the materials which is out of their control. They, however, have offered a partial refund. It could have been more convenient if they had informed us in advance of the situation. But we appreciate the gesture of the management to refund a portion of the rate. But overall the room is very nice and modern.

Loved the view of the Matterhorn through the skylight and from the balcony. Check-in was super smooth as well, completely DYI but very easy and hassle free. The room was great too, very thoughtfully designed and equipped.

Very minor niggles, really. The shower curtain was a bit dodgy, so a tiny stream of water leaked out into the room. It would also have been nice to have OTT services on the TV, or at least the option to log into our own.
