Excellent location. Easy to get to from the airport and main train station. Take the 10 tram and it stops at Haldenegg which is right in front of the building. Short walk (though on a hill so either a steep hill or steep stairs) to old town for sightseeing and restaurants. There is also an Italian restaurant in the building but we did not eat there. We did get a carryout bottle of wine though which was very convenient. We reserved the suite which was on the top floor with a very large outdoor terrace. There was plenty of room for the two of us. Self check-in was no problem at all. A few minor complaints but overall very satisfied and would stay again.

It was not clear to me when I booked it that there was no housekeeping at all. We saw no staff at any time. We could not get the wireless to work and the safe would not close and there was no one to ask for help. It also meant the room was not cleaned or towels replaced during the 5 nights we were there. We were fine with the room not being cleaned but we would have liked new towels after a few days. Also, be aware that the elevator only goes to the 4th floor so if you stay in the suite you must carry your luggage up two more flights of stairs. There are also stairs into the building and up to the check in area. Overall, the room was a good value. At least now I know what to expect.

Great location, close to the train station and there’s a tram line outside too. The room was very clean, the self-check in process was seamless, no issues at all. Lots of space, the bed was comfortable. Lots of hangers and good cupboard space, there’s also a safe. Great that the room has air con too.

We seemed to be given an accessible room which meant that the shower only had a curtain and the water was supposed to drain as it’s on a slant. This didn’t work in practice and made showering very difficult / uncomfortable. The water went everywhere, towels were saturated that were placed on the floor to try and catch the water etc. The toilet seat is incredibly close to the sink, so again, this wasn’t very comfortable. I’m not sure if all the bathrooms are designed this way, or if we were just unlucky.

The room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower was spacious. Our room has great Internet connection speed and TV channel options such as BBC World. It's was a half-mile walk to the train station. A streetcar stops just outside the front door making it easy to connect to other spots in the city such as the airport or central train station. i enjoyed connecting my phone via Bluetooth to the in-room speakers. I was nervous about the streetcars outside, but the noise goes down later after 10 pm. A Coop grocery store is about 5 blocks away and was good way to save money on food vs eating out.

The check-in process was terrible as it was all online and I keep having technical difficulties uploading our passport documentation to the check-in website. Fortunately, I was able to reach the hotel via Booking.com messaging even at 10:30pm (22:30). Had we arrived any later, I'm not sure if we could have reached anyone via phone or messaging. The process to connect to the hotel's wifi was difficult as you must sign up via your mobile phone number. It was a little uphill walk to the hotel so if you have to talk from the train station with heavy luggage, you should probably get a taxi instead.

Got a wonderful room that was a suit at a great value price . Everything was very nice and easy to self check in

Our electronic key access on our phones deactivated 1 hour before the check out time . This was very inconvenient as we had popped out to get some breakfast and left our luggage in our room. We returned to the room in time to collect our luggage 40 mins before check out time and could not access the room . We had to go and find a maid to Let us in and missed our taxi booking as a result and got charged a cancellation fee .

The staff-less system was easy to use in order to check in and out, the rooms were a good size and comfortable and the in-room bluetooth setup was great (you can connect your phone to the built-in speakers to play music). Very modern facilities

As with most things in Zurich, it was on the expensive side of things. The wifi was also complicated to connect to and there were no instructions left about how to connect. The location IS close to the main station, but to get to the front door on foot with luggage requires a walk up several steep flights of stairs and hills, which was difficult.

Location was very convenient, a tram stop to train station or airport was immediately outside in front of hotel. Room appeared to have been recently updated. Bed was firm but comfortable. There was a mini refrigerator that we used for drinks & snacks.

Although the windows were double-glazed, you could still here the tram during the early-morning and late-night hours, this could be an issue for light sleepers. The shower did not have a defined drain pan, just a sloping tile, it also had a curtain, which made it easy for water to get all over the floor while showering if you weren't careful. There was limited English-language TV programming, mostly news. A smart TV would be a great addition to allow guests to access Netflix, YouTube, etc. A Nespresso or equivalent coffee machine would also be a great addition, although the instant coffee was better than a lot that I have had in the past.

Central.location, walkable to Zurich CBD. Very affordable for Zurich. Able to self check in.

No hot water on artival in the 3 rooms that we booked. We reported this early evening and 2 of the rooms had hot water by morning, but not the third. Beware that self check in requires Internet access. Might be a problem if you are offline - you can't get into the building to even use the hotel wifi to complete your check in.

This is a revamped "Leoneck Hotel". It's only a small part of the previous hotel (to which most reviews here refer). It is self-check in although this doesn't work perfectly and there is a person in the daytime. The redecorated rooms are very nice. There is an expensive Italian restaurant on the property or a small bar (kleine Freiheit) with a limited menu across the street. It's close to ETH, central Zurich and many other things. Excellent location.

Self-check in is not ideal. If your phone drops the internet (e.g. you don't have Swiss data) you are in trouble. You can get a physical key if you check in there in the lobby. The rest of the building appears to be apartments. Since it's "self-check in" there is no food or even a microwave, just a coffee machine.

Everything. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Furniture and design were very modern and well-kept. Check in was very easy and our room was even ready 3 hours early. There was also a lovely view out the balcony. The temperature control in the room was also excellent.

While it is in a very good central location for its price, it is up a rather large hill that was tiring to walk up with our heavy luggage. Just something to note, nothing against the hotel!

Well located and very clean. Good breakfast and excellent coffee. Very nice to have coffee available in the lobby and in the rooms. We took three guided tours that left from the bus station just across the hotel. Very convenient. Also very short walking distance to train station. Tram just across the hotel. We ate at the Sham restaurant nearby three evenings in a row it was so good. Quite pleased with our stay!

Although everything else was very clean, the carpet really needs cleaning or better, being replaced.
