Excellent location. 4 min walk from the train station which is great if you arrive by train (me) or from the airport (my friend). The hotel is right next to a a big Migros supermarket which also has a restaurant. We did not try the breakfast at the hotel (21€ per person) but we had coffee in the room (there was a decent machine) and we had breakfast and bought water, fruit, etc., at Migros. Everything is at walking distance from the hotel. Beds are clean and comfortable (not the pillows) and bathroom was clean with a great shower. We were able to store our luggage for several hours after check-out and the hotel offers umbrellas if it rains. I would stay here again if I came back to Zurich.

-The air conditioning in the room did not work properly. It was very weak and it felt like dirty air, with my friend and I coughing a lot while it was on. We were there in June and it was really hot so they need to fix that or install a proper AC system considering what they charge per night. -The pillows were huge, really weak and uncomfortable. -The room had a fitted carpet which takes away the “clean feeling” of the room. -The fridge in the room makes sudden loud noises in the middle of the night.

Fantastic central location. Close to train station and main shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely hotel. Quaint seating areas. Gorgeous suite with balcony. Very clean and beds very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Average breakfast. Charged for water left out in the room. We assumed it was free.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Hussain from the reception in particular :) Location is fantastic. Less than 10 minutes from the central station and less than a minute or two walk from other modes of public transport. We were a family with young kids and were able to wheel our bags from the train station to the hotel without a fuss. Shopping, eateries, bars and a lot more is in the vicinity of the neighborhood. You can just walk to most places. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was average (we only opted for it one day) but there are plenty of bakeries and breakfast places nearby. In addition, there is a grocery store and mart opposite the hotel so you can stock up on breakfast items from there as well.

The location was wonderful - very close to the train station (maybe a 6 minute walk; fine to do with carry-on suitcase), and close to the river, the lake and old city sights. The hotel itself was lovely. The rooms are somewhat small but wonderfully updated and comfortable. And we had a huge bathtub and air conditioning! A luxury after several hotels with tiny showers and one hotel in Lucerne that didn't have AC. But most of all, there were special seating areas on every floor - a business lounge/library on 2, a little alcove on 3, and a rooftop patio on 4. We took a glass of wine up there for our last night in Europe - just lovely! I highly recommend this hotel!

Can't think of a thing.

This hotel was in a great location, short walk to nearly everywhere we wanted to go. The beds were comfy, the rooms were super quiet, the hotel was clean, there's a lounge to relax in, a rooftop seating area, and a small elevator to help with luggage.

Only thing we were disappointed about, though not really a complaint against the hotel, was that the regulations with air conditioning prevented us from being really comfortable in our rooms...it was a bit warm (but that's an American point of view on something that's completely normal in Europe).

There was a door leading to another room and at night, someone actually opened the door.

Love the location, fantastic hotel!

Room was quiet but we had to open the windows because the room smelt of cigarettes so the construction work was a bit noisy. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Location is only a short distance from the main train station and plenty of restaurants and bars are around.

The room smelt of cigarettes. We did not make a fuss but that should not have been the case. There were no glasses in the room which is strange. However the staff were obliging in providing a wine glass.

Everything! The location is absolutely perfect: it's near diverse stores, public transport (the central station is only 3-5 minutes by foot, and tram 10 to and from the airport is just steps away from the hotel). Inspite its' central location it was very quiet in the room: I never heard any noises from the street nor from the neighbouring rooms. The room was cleaned on a daily basis, and they changed my towels every single day (although I did not expect the room service to do it that often). It was very hot during my entire vacation, and the temperature in my room was just right. It was a pleasure to come back to the room after long walks in hot weather. There is a little minibar inside, which is very convenient if you want to buy your own groceries. Reception staff is very kind, polite and professional. The price was very reasonable for such an expensive city as Zürich.

It wasn't much of an issue for me (I'm skinny and not very tall), but the shower booth is quite little. It can be a bit uncomfortable for larger people.
