Nice hotel in a good location for going exploring. Tram stop right outside reception for getting down to the river and main shops / train station / restaurants (takes about 4/5mins) or is a nice 15 min walk. Rooms were clean and good size for a city break. Hotel has a bar / breakfast room but we didn't use it during our stay. There is a lovely bakery a 2min walk down the road which is worth a visit for breakfast / lunch and nice coffee. There is also a mini supermarket a couple of doors down for any other bits you may want. Bus / train station is a 20min walk from hotel down into the main center and across the river. This is likely where you'll head if you are doing any of the many trips out exploring the amazing scenery. Would recommend this hotel and would happily stay again if I was visiting Zurich. Would also recommend an amazing Italian Tapas restaurant down near the river called, Trattoria Sempre. Very very nice food, great service and atmosphere.

Everything was very nice and clean and comfortable and the staff accommodating. The in room bar fridge had great choices in drinks and snacks and were provided free of charge. It was a pleasant day an the balcony ftom our room was lively to sit and watch people coming abd going from ctheir homes. An added delight was finding a pack of sleep assisting gummies in place of chocolate on our bed!

Once we worked out the local bus stopped right nearby and was only 3 stops from the railway and a convenience store was nearby we were fine. Until then we were a bit flummoxed about hoe we'd get around.

The location is very convenient. Near a tram and bus station that connects you to the whole city by 10 minutes. The staff are the best Ive seen, very friendly, helpful, and the smile never leaves their face even when working on new years eve. Rooms had a lot of amenities that were refilled daily.

Our room happened to be very small, our friends had bigger more refurbished rooms, (try getting a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony overlooking the whole citycenter.) The hotel had a broken elevator, that made it a bit unconvenient to carry our luggage. Finally our rooms duvet was very small, leaving me without a cover the whole night. Its not made for a couple :)

We absolutely loved our stay here ! First, we were warmly welcomed by the gentleman on the front desk, unfortunately I can’t remember his name, who filled us in about the tram system, talked us through all the sites in Zurich and where to get the bus for our tour. He was amazing ! Second, the room was very large and great value for money, we felt really safe here. The location was great, a grocery store nearby and right out the front of the tram which you can catch to and from the airport.

The only thing I would say is that the bathroom doors don’t “close” or lock, so if you are staying with someone you need to hold it closed. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Check-in and out at unusual hours went well. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. There were also supermarkets nearby which we used to stock up for a trek.

It was difficult to find a good route to follow from the railway on foot carrying luggage. The hotel is up a steep hill from the central city. There were lots of steps. We came and went to the hotel a few times and eventually found a route with only a few steps.

Excellent location - 5 mins from ETH, 15 mins from the train station and about 30 mins from the airport. Spacious room, comfortable bed and bathroom. Amazing and very accommodating staff - (they were kind enough to arrange for an early luggage drop off and a late check-out). Good breakfast buffet.

I was surprised that the room didn't have air conditioning, and instead just had a small table fan. However, the stay was comfortable due to Zurich's pleasant September weather. Not sure about how it would be in the summer. Other than that, the shower handle was a bit loose in the bathroom and kept sliding down. Would appreciate if that is fixed.

Room size was big. Minibar stocked with complimentary soft drinks and beer. Comfy bed and pillows. Very clean. Room is dark. Great location. Supermarket next door. Water and apples provided at reception. Allowed early check in. Good balcony and view.

Toilet size is too small. Room is not properly ventilated. Lack of fresh air/wind and feels stuffy when windows are fully closed. The room is too dry and needs a humidifier. Birds chirping at 5am.....

Great 2-night stay. The service is friendly and helpful. We got some cold drinks when we checked in and helpful tips for around the city. The elevator wasn't working so as compensation we got to use the mini bar items for free. Wasn't necessary for us (our room was only on the 2nd floor), but it showed great service! The room was big with a balcony; the beds and pillows comfy; nicely decorated. We liked the location. There's a Coop supermarket right next door for a budget breakfast/dinner. A few minutes away there's a nice pub (the Alehouse) for some good beers an burgers. Trams right outside too. Recommend!

Water pressure of the shower could be better.

It was conveniently located with a grocery store next door. The tram stop was just outside and a bakery across the road. Air con, nice and clean.

Poor internet that took 4 days to fix. You need to take the tram in and out as although you can walk from there it is very steep and tiring. A bit too pricey for what it was worth.
