The house is nice and very clean. Vintage style. The staff is absolutely lovely, very friendly and kind. Quiet and pleasant stay, very relaxed environment.

Literally the only thing which we found a bit annoying was that ALL handles in the room were broken. Main door needs quiet the work to get locked or unlocked. Loo door needs to be locked from both sides to stay closed. That was the only thing, please fix your doors, just a bit annoying having to fight with the doors every time we need to use them.

Very nice accommodation, this is my second stay at the coach house, last time I stayed in one of the separate rooms in the rear courtyard, this time i stayed in the main building, above the dining area. This was good for me, as i was woken everyday by the smell of bacon cooking! Great breakfasts, nice staff, comfortable rooms with good facilities, comfortable beds and ensuite bathroom, parking included, nice location, just off the m4/m32 junction. Good food delivery services in the area, nice pub just down the road serving great food. I had a very enjoyable stay!

If I'm being picky, the sausages could've been better quality, tasted like richmonds, but to be fair they were well cooked, and everything else was excellent. Its very easy to miss the turning if you aren't paying attention!

I loved the guest house as it was very comfortable and full of character. Beds and rooms were comfortable and spacious I loved the vintage / old furniture in the rooms. The breakfasts were delicious and staff very friendly and helpful. Generally it was very good and good location , quiet but still within easy reach of the city centre.

The first night was uncomfortably hot but that was just because of the heatwave and no air con though they did supply a fan. there was a bit of misunderstanding about our desired breakfast times and we were encouraged to attend for breakfast earlier than we had expected on the second and third morning. There was one night there were too many cars parked at the property where we had to park almost at the main road.

The family room was excellent, great size and clean. Easy access and parking. Continental breakfast was included for free which we did not expect, but you could also upgrade to a cooked breakfast. But very comfortable and felt homey and relaxed to do what we want.

Double room was a bit small but the rooms were lovely generally. But the hallways and reception and breakfast area are quite old and isn't a great first welcome after you walk through the lovely glass doors.

Easy booking and arrival process, even though we were quite late. The layout of the hotel and the furniture was really interesting and attractive. We had a family room for 3 of us which was comfortably spacious. The bathroom was really lovely and well appointed. Breakfast was plentiful and accessible. Self service for tea/coffee, cereals, etc and a freshly cooked fry up served to the table. Lovely.

The only criticism I have is that there was not a hairdryer in the room! The other point to note is that there were a couple of pub/restaurants in walking distance but all were fully booked - plan ahead if you want to eat out!

I preferred this hotel more than the one I had stayed the night before, which was more expensive. I had to book this one last minute due a change in plans, and I felt so accommodated for. I rang to check in early due to having to dash away for a wedding, and managed to thank goodness! The lady was lovely and was concerned that I was leaving so early in the morning before breakfast was served, and then showed me where to find the cereals to help myself to in the morning, which I very much appreciated at 5:30am before a long train journey back home. I don't know how I would have survived without eating! The room was cute and cosy, very private feeling and in a quiet location. Bed was comfy, with biscuits next to the kettle which is a must!

I don't have a single complaint

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Rooms are dog friendly. Nice quiet courtyard to sit and chill in with a drink. Comfy bed and good shower. Great English cooked breakfast with plenty of additional cereals, juices, yogurts, tea, coffee, toast etc to help yourself to. Free parking. Would recommend.

The hand wash basin is actually in the bedroom, not the bathroom, which is somewhat inconvenient for washing hands after using the toilet. The view out of the bedroom window is into another courtyard with clothing scattered on the ground (looked like they had come off a washing line) and have obviously been on the ground for sometime as they were covered in leaves and mould. Needs sorting out.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast provided was excellent. White horse was a 3 minute walk away and was a lovely place to eat and relax in the evening.

We had a water pump system in the bathroom which meant that everytime any water was used there was a loud vibrating noise in the room. Also beds were not as comfortable as used to, but this is personal preference.

A welcoming atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. One lady in particular and sorry we didn’t get her name, she cooked our breakfast each morning and was very friendly and help us with advice on our exploration plans of the day.

Can be a bit noisy with people coming and going due to it being a old historical building it comes with squeaky floors and heavy doors opening and closing.
