Very close to the Motorway, very friendly staff. Very quick service in the restaurant. Very comfy bed and pillows. Very welcoming with a good vibe. Pretty outside seating area with lovely flowers.

Bedroom door (8) wouldn’t close or open properly, unless you threw your weight against it, making one heck of a noise. No shelf in the bathroom (toiletries had to go on the floor). Toilet cistern kept running into the toilet a few times, had to keep flushing it to make it stop. Worst of all was the noise from the room above, obviously no insulation as we could even hear them talking and using the loo!

I had two meals in the swan restaurant and they where both amazing I've never had such lovely fish and chips which was still hot at very last mouthful and the 10oz Sirloin was cooked to perfection and well presented. I had breakfast in hotel next door booked by the Swan management and it was of a really hi standard, Room was clean and I was on ground floor but had no noise from the pub.

Nothing I didn't like at this hotel it was a lot better then premier inn and or travel lodge. Tea and coffee in the room but nothing I didn't like about the stay.

As a woman staying in a hotel alone for the first time I was very pleased with the hotel and how safe I felt during my stay. The hotel is a pub but the hotel rooms are in a separate building which was nice as it meant I could get to my room without having to go through a busy pub. Check in was very quick and easy and there is a box for key drop off so no need to formally check out. The room was very clean and fairly spacious, perfect for what I was after!

In general the room/cleanliness/comfort/price was very good and at a room rate rather than per person. Staff very helpful. Bar facilities very good. On site parking (even if a bit tight for SUV). In room Tea & Coffee very good as we didn't need to ask for more items.

No provision for breakfast so had to go elsewhere.(Even if booked next door, which was good breakfast) could advertise that fact on website as I like a breakfast. Evening bar food selection not so great / limited (some simple / wholesome pub dishes would be great) even went next door for this meal.

The decor was nice and the bed was comfortable. The Swan looked a nice place and staff were welcoming on arrival.

The shower was cold despite being on the hot setting. I ran it for a few minutes thinking it would get hot but it never, it was stone cold. I needed to have the shower because I'd drove all day the previous day and had work meetings so had to have a cold shower. I would have raised it with the management team but I left at 0730 to attend a work meeting. Nice place to stay but the shower let my visit down.

My partner and I were travelling for a wedding, we were delayed by 90 minutes on the motorway and then again when exiting the M5 due to roadworks, we arrived at 21.50, ten minutes before closing, somewhat hot and bothered, the manager welcomed us in and showed us to our room and then served us with drinks without any impatience, the hospitality was amazing! The room was excellent, clean, well-decorated and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again, and recommend to family and friends.

The hotel was fantastic. Nice comfortable room with a big shower. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the owner was lovely. Went beyond helpful especially with my dinner when all I wanted was a sandwich. I didn't take names sorry but the young lady behind the bar on Tuesday night was kind and friendly and so was the young man when I got there.

There was nothing I didn't like it was a fab place.

Very warm welcome, nice cozy accommodation with everything you need and truly magnificent food in the pub/restaurant! Best meals we've had in years and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be staying again.

No breakfast served in the pub/restaurant yet so you have to book into the establishment next door. It's ok though.

The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The en suite was adequate. Didn't have any food or much to do with staff. Not their fault just circumstances.

It's very close to the A38 and I did hear the traffic through the night every now and then. Again not the staff's fault.

Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Rooms were clean and nice. Bed very comfortable. Food was excellent. And would stay again.

The location is on quite a busy road, but with windows shut it keeps out most of any traffic noise. Outside door to room housing blocks could do with a spruce up.
