the Location is great for Bristol or travelling on the motorway network, easy to get away in the morning. My room was large.

Evening Meal was limited, but it tasted good when it arrived.

Staff (Ruby in particular) was very kind, helpful and sociable. We had an upgrade as the tv in the room we initially booked was in an awkward place in regard to the bed. Ruby was so helpful and gave us another room. The hotel has been decorated recently and was clean & modern throughout. They have a bar & Starbucks, which was a lovely added touch, to grab as coffee as we left. They do serve breakfast at an extra charge, and although we did have it, it’s served in their lounge area, which again, is modern & cosy. We said we would definitely return. Such a hidden gem!

Proximity to the motorway and my intended destination. A pleasant and well stocked bar/restaurant area, with a small clean and tidy decking area that had a sunny aspect overlooking the sports field. The room was as I needed with a comfortable bed and a nice shower, the ironing board and iron were handy as that ' favourite shirt ',got creased on the drive down. Dogs are allowed, which is a big plus for me for when I next travel down The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Only a small thing that really didn't affect me as I had a cloth to hand and you can't help the weather. It had rained the previous evening and the seats were still wet in the afternoon. A quick wipe would have sorted it although I'm sure had I asked, the staff would have dealt with it. The column ashtrays at the front seating area were very full ,but I only noticed because I smoke.

Clean & well furnished

The tiled flooring in room was fine with shoes on but so very glass like slippery with socks on & not much better bare footed at night … too late saw message in shower & was fortunate not to have broken bones! I damaged both elbows & bruised my rear…. Did not tell staff as nothing they could have done…. Would suggest this floor is tested by Health&Safety while wearing socks!! A short hand rail on wall just before shower room would be useful … this should be treated urgently before someone is badly hurt especially if they’ve had a few drinks in the bar which fortunately I did not ….. we usually enjoy visiting this hotel each Autumn & sometimes in Spring & this is our only complaint …

The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows. Staff were really helpful and friendly. No issues parking even when we checked in at 9.30pm.

The only thing, which I will admit we checked in at 9.30pm and we didn't go down to say anything to the staff because of the circumstances of our stay (which is our fault not theirs) was the air con didn't work which was fine when we opened the window. And the bathroom radiator was on high so it was uncomfortably hot in there with no off button. Again this wouldn't put us off the stay at all - hotel was lovely, clean, parking was not crowded and the staff were lovely. If it wasn't such a quick stop over and we mentioned it I'm confident the staff would of sorted it!

The room was lovely, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant that evening and the food was very good. The hotel was in a perfect location as literally just off m5, so easy to rejoin the following morning. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

The breakfast is self service and most items were empty at 9am on a Saturday, it was never restocked fully, bits were brought out so disappeared in a minute aka 4 x sausages for 10 adults. Fruit juice was cordial so not what we expected for the cost of the breakfast. We spoke to staff and were told chef knew but anyone coming after 9am were left with very little choice. Breakfast is served till 1030 on a weekend so was surprised it was like this. What we did eat was good quality and the scrambled egg was lovely.

We wanted a budget hotel for a one night stop over and were really happy with our choice. We arrived early but were told the room was ready, which after a long journey was really appreciated. The room was nice and quiet at the back of the hotel. Communal areas in the hotel are lovely, very bright, modern and clean. Staff were all polite and helpful. Room was comfortable and well equipped with a tv, fan, heater, iron, hairdryer. Small kettle and nice selection of teas, coffees, milk. Went to reception to request more teas and milks and were given more without any hesitation. Nice selection of food at breakfast, fruit, cereals, juices, pastries etc. and of course full English. Didn't have and evening meal there, but we did go to the pub next door and the food was excellent. There's a small bar which also serves coffees. Lots of sockets in room. Bed was comfy and I got a good nights sleep, which is really unusual when I'm away.

Room could have been a little more clean. Not sure it had been hoovered as there were quite a few bits on the carpet. Bedside tables and back of bed were very dusty. Sheets were crisp and white, but did spot a stain and a tear in the duvet cover. No mirror in the bedroom so when using hairdryer had to stand in the door of the bathroom (would just about reach from the nearest socket) to use the bathroom mirror. The shampoo/bodywash provided in shower was pretty much empty, not really enough for the 2 of us.

Breakfast was good. We had the cooked breakfast which was hot unlike many other establishments we have had breakfast at where it was warm and got cold before you were finished.

They had run out of supplies so the meal my husband wanted was unavailable and he is coeliac so it was one of the 3 options left. The other two were both curry’s so it would have been good for another gf choice. They didn’t bring the right burger for me but I didn’t say anything as it was still good. I just would have preferred it without the barbecue sauce as I am diabetic.

Very good price for a family room, plenty of parking and easy location to the motorway. The food served was incredible quality and a great price for what you got. Staff were really helpful too, I'd like to thank Aaron and Spider as they both went out their way to provide us with some warm milk for the baby. Really good guys

The only complaint i could have was the heat of the room! We all slept fine regardless but still... The heated flooring un the hallway and bathroom was lovely but probably not in the middle of August, at the same time the air condition was not quite cold but just blowing air onto the beds.

Excellent location for a work trip to Bristol, room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great value.

The air conditioning in our room was not working, but it wasn’t a major issue due to it not being that warm. In the summer it would’ve been an issue. The shower became really slippery when using it, due to it not having any grips on the floor. We mentioned this at reception at checkout.
