Easy to find, checking in/out was very smooth was impressed by the technology used to check in and out quick and simple. Extremely clean - great facilities perfect for short stay. Staff were great and gave fresh towels daily and made bed. All use of Netflix, Amazon and Disney already being pre logged in really helped as did have to faff with logging in - this was a nice touch.

Pillows were a little flat also road was quite loud in the evenings as we were facing the main road. Also coffee machine was turned off to be cleaned earlier than I expected but staff were helpful and turned it back on so I could have my morning coffee! Really helpful!

really really appreciate the added bonus of the extra morning breakfast. We loved it last time and loved it again. Since we're canadian the exchange rate really hurts us making everything much more expensive therefore every little bit saved helps. thank you for doing that for us. the room was clean. the extras in the rom and the breakfast provided was great. Depending on timing, the breakfast could be extended to maybe 10-11 am for the late risers. otherwise everything was wonderful and I highly reccomend

breakfast hours could be extended for late comers, late risers...after all, we are on vacation :) could the coffee maker also be available all day for the specialty coffee?

The location was quite nice, within a few kilometres of the city centre. The neighbourhood itself was reletively quiet, and had an authentic British pub around the corner, with decent food. The building itself was cosy and had a nice atmosphere to it. There's a common room, where breakfast was also served, and the coffee machine makes good coffee. For those travelling with an electric vehicle, there are car chargers just across the street.

The bed was not the best and was only 1.40m wide. When I'm abroad, I already have trouble sleeping properly and these circumstances didn't help. All in all, that was a minor gripe.

Very clean, well appointed accommodation. The bed was comfortable and tea/coffee/biscuits were provided. noise insulation was very good despite it being on a main road. Host help messaging service was good and immediate.

Nearby street parking was a bit random and inconvenient but that's no fault of the B&B. I would have preferred to see a member of staff some time during my stay but for a fully automated stay, it seemed to work well. Despite building works being carried out, if it was my place, I would have cleared up some of the general rubbish left on site or made the builder clear up after work. The garden looked like a rubbish sack had been dropped in it from a great height. Most builders leave a site tidy, at the end of the day.

Booked this hotel for my family to visit me in Cardiff. The owners were extremely friendly and helping with our requests. Self check-in was very much appreciated considering our schedule, and so is the access with a PIN number. The bedroom was very cozy and warm, with all of the necessary thing for a stay. Check-in and check-out flawless too.

The property is not exactly close to the city center, however this is not a problem if you're up for walking 20-25 minutes. The Roath area where this hotel is, still has PLENTY of places to shop, get food or supplies etc. Overall this is not a big disadvantage, but still worth mentioning for people looking for a very central stay.

We liked the innovative entry/key system, but I wouldn't know what to do if it ever developed a fault. Breakfast was unusual, as a kind of diy system is in place, with nice ham and cheese croissants and pastries provided. The fresh fruit was very welcome, although there was no bread available to use in the toaster on any of our 3 days stay. On our last morning no porridge was to be seen either, so a better control of stock is required.

It was nice having all the TV streaming channels available for a change, compared to most accommodation to be found. However there was no Freeview available on the TV as far as we could see - we didn't find it at least. So we could not get an up to date weather forecast (or news) from the morning breakfast shows on BBC and ITV. The "Live TV" function on the screen just showed a repeat of the previous evening's local news.

The staff and the proprietors were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast/common room was the perfect oasis after a full day of sightseeing. Security was excellent. Even though there is no personnel on site during the night one call and issues were addressed very promptly and accordingly. The bagged breakfast was a delicious ham and cheese croissant, along with sweet pastries. Fresh fruit, excellent yogurt and a variety of instant breakfast available as well. A fifteen minute walk to downtown and Cardiff castle. You can tell the owners care about their property and guests.

A couple streets over is a bit of sketchy road

Easy access and secure. Room was a perfect size and lovely bathroom. Like they had a fan, which has been cleaned and worked very well. Had a fridge that everyone could use, which meant I could bring in food. The breakfast was well presented in little bags and was a nice breakfast. The housekeeper was very lovely and polite.

The cleaning wasn’t excellent. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and hair left in the shower. There was also tape left on the ceiling by the bed. The breakfast was okay, the croissant was nice however for 2 mornings, I had one little slice of ham. Would also be nice, if you missed breakfast (as it comes in little bags) if it was put into the fridge. Also be nice if the pastry was different, as had the same for each day. Would be nice to have some “Do not disturb” signs, in case guests are saying in so they aren’t disturbed by the housekeeper.

Never saw staff, other than maybe the cleaner. Only saw other guests at breakfast in the lovely communual dining space. The place was really nice, tidy, quiet. Breakfast is basic but nice. Croissant, ham and cheese, pastry, cereals, juice - good value for price. No complaints. Don't like comment is just a recommendation.

Recommend parking on Partridge as other roads are a little bit dodgy.

I loved the layout and how the room was decorated. The bathroom was beautifully and spacious, considering the space they had . The Balcony was a nice touch, and to have the double door that opened so nice . It was so straightforward to check in and out, and you could come and go as you like without worrying about disturbing anyone.

Got a bit confused with how to lock the door with the fob but worked it out and messaged the host, who replied quickly even though it was getting late .
