Very welcoming , , we loved Flambards from the first impression from the building to the lovely hanging baskets and welcoming staff !

The whole experience of Flambards, from the lovely staff,Mac especially the proprietor very welcoming and informative, also his Son Louie ( who was lovely) he explained about the whole sizzle & sear experience to my husband ( was his first time ) the food was delicious, and such a great menu as well as house specials , breakfast in the morning delicious, room very clean , garden small but lovely, would like to that the whole team and we hope we can visit again soon ,

What a little gem of a hotel. This was my first solo holiday since my husband passed away, so I was very anxious -i need not have been The owners were welcoming, friendly and informative. My room was really lovely; very comfortable bed; massive bathroom and plenty of storage. I opted for a full English breakfast - bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash brown and mushrooms. There were other items available to add and the choice of a continental breakfast. It was very delicious and not a scrap of grease anywhere. I've very particular about fat ( as my kids will attest to, they all sigh and get ready for a looong breakfast if I have bacon) but it was perfect. I also had orange juice, toast and coffee. I'm reliably told by some locals I met that the evening meals are also pretty damn good Thanks guys for making me feel so welcome and hopefully see you again

Lovely property, pretty little village. Very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Food was amazing, we loved the sizzle and sear it was fun and the steak best quality. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Owner and staff were lovely, friendly, informative and chatty.

Room 6 was small, not much floor space available but it was the only room available when we booked. Would be ok for one night though. We stayed for two so a bit cluttered and a bit of a trip hazard at times. Wall shelves would be useful maybe under TV to put stuff on. Wall shelves in bathroom would be useful too as everything went on the floor. To be fair the owner apologised for room size when we checked out.

The breakfast was excellent and ready almost immediately after we sat down. The staff were lovely - Mac helped us out by letting us check a little earlier so that we could change into our wedding suits after a five-hour drive up from London. The hotel has a nice big reception and bar area with comfy seats and books to read.

Very difficult to find fault with the room, but if I had to pick something, it would be the lack of a shower curtain. I understand it's meant to be a wet room, but the water splashed quite far (probably because we're both very tall) so most of the room was wet. Everything else was spot on!

Our stay at Flambards Hotel was absolutely fantastic, the owners and their family where very friendly and very helpful. The room and the hotel in general was very clean, tidy, well maintained and a credit to the owners. The breakfast was awesome (we had the full English) and it definitely set us up for the day ahead. We loved the Sear & Sizzle Steak and like the breakfast the food was fantastic. 😋😋 Parking was great, plenty of spaces and not that I’d advise it but I accidentally left the car windows open overnight and there were no issues. Final Thought;- if you hadn’t already gathered from my previous comments we had a fantastic time at Flambards and I’d definitely recommend staying at this hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Many thanks, Stu & Beth.

We were made so very welcome at Flambards and all our communication beforehand was dealt with very quickly and in such a friendly way that it really made us look forward to our stay. The rooms, as all the hotel, were spotless, fresh and comfortable and the whole atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We enjoyed a drink in the lounge before dinner and then thoroughly enjoyed a delicious Sear and Sizzle meal in the restaurant. The food presentation was beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked. The Vegans were really well provided for as well as the meat eater and we all thoroughly enjoyed the sear and sizzle experience. Mac and Louis were such lovely hosts, making such a happy, relaxed atmosphere for us and in spite of us only being able to stay for one night they made us feel we were properly on holiday. Breakfast was fabulous too. We'd love to go back one day and it's so convenient for trips to other wonderful places like Cardigan and New Quay.

Didn't like having to go home !

Very comfortable, clean and homely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and took my wet shoes to dry in the laundry room. The food in the restaurant was fantastic quality and on one of the days, it was only us eating in the restaurant and they still opened for us! Breakfast was excellent. I even got proper warm croissants which I love. The shower was fantastic too - really powerful and easy to control. There was plenty of onsite parking too.

It would have been nice to have a biscuit with the tea and coffee things in the room. Other than this everything was perfect!

A lovely, family-run hotel where our party of 7 was made to feel very welcome by our hosts. All our rooms were a good size, very clean and comfortable. Great food, both at breakfast and dinner - I really like the idea of pre-ordering breakfast items to help save wastage and it was then cooked to order. The food presentation at dinner was also great and the hot lava stones to 'cook your food how you want' were really fun to use. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and will be booking again when we next visit the area.

Nothing comes to mind

There was nothing not to like about our stay other than it wasn't long enough. from the moment that we arrived and the friendly reception through to our leaving everything were fine. Plus the surroundings and the short walk to the river helped to continue the relaxed atmosphere. We would recommend a stay ere and lan to return at some point.

Nothing. There was literally nothing to dislike, even the breakfast was well cooked with plenty of toast. The car park was well laid out and covered by CCTV.

Very welcoming staff. Very clean hotel, nicely decorated and well maintained. Lovely area outside to sit and have a beer/food. Quiet location. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. Excellent breakfast cooked as requested, high quality, plenty of choice and also we were offered fruit to take away if we wanted! When we required extra milk/toilet roll, our request was dealt with very quickly. Mac was very friendly and approachable, he gave us good advice on trips and local places to visit. We were very happy with our stay. Plenty of parking space. Opportunity to have an evening meal if required.

The room was a bit small due to our luggage requiring more space. The road outside of the hotel had no pavements and extra care needed to be taken crossing the road but this is clearly not the owner's fault.
