All good. Lovely country gastro pub. Room was quality with excellent bed and shower. The place is spotless. The restaurant was suitably atmospheric and the food a cut above normal pub fodder. Pricing was fine and some interesting drink choices. Plenty for Veggies and they even have a separate Vegan menu if that's your bag. The breakfast was a tad functional, but fine... and the location is idyllic. Would certainly recommend and stay again.

No hassle for us, but the stairs to the room were a little steep. Breakfast was fine, with a Veggie option, but a choice of fresh fruit and yogurt would have been welcome.

Fantastic location...close to beach, river and forest walks. Excellent evening meal, delicious and well presented; good wine selection and friendly staff. Good range of options for breakfast and again well presented, with friendly staff. I loved the attention to detail and personal preference, with eco- friendly bonus points e.g. I could change thermostat settings easily and all bathroom products were local, organic and offered via refillable containers; fresh water was provided in refillable glass bottles. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and all descriptions matched the reality. I will return to The Nags Head as soon as opportunity arises.

Beautiful peaceful property. Very friendly owners who were very helpful and informative and showed us to our room. Small room but we had a very comfy stay and ample supplies of tea coffee and water etc...in our room. Breakfast was absolutely delicious...local produce used too. We also had a meal there too. Again so delicious and tasty and menu choice plentiful. A visit to nearby Cenarth Falls is a must...such a beautiful place.

Nothing really.... thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A lovely country pub in a very quiet location. The room was excellent, the bed very comfortable and with good quality bedding. The bathroom was large and the towels were also of very good quality. The full Welsh breakfast was very good and the Welsh apple juice was very tasty. We ate there on both nights, lamb the first night and steak on the second: both meals were delicious and very well priced. On the second night, a Friday, the pub was full and full of atmosphere. Zoe and her staff were very friendly.

It was very cold outside and the public rooms were a little chilly, though the bedroom was warm.

Beautiful location and a gorgeous interior. Loved all the little decor touches. Owners, Zoe & Dewi were lovely, welcoming people & all staff were excellent with their service too. Great food using local produce & local ales & spirits. The beer garden overlooking the river would be a lovely spot to hang out in the summer too.

Maybe the bar could be open a little later to enjoy a drink after the delicious meal. However, maybe it is in the summer when the beer garden is used. We would still return & recommend this quality B&B.

Excellent room with friendly staff, I was leaving early the next morning before breakfast service time and the lady who greeted me on arrival (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) got the chef to have a bacon butty there waiting for me in the morning... And it was super tasty too.

My only complaint and the only reason why I didn't award a rating of 10 is because of the green light that stays on all night and illuminates the room, there is no need for the light to be there as if there was a fire or any other emergency people would be able to find their way to the door with ease in the dark... That's just my thoughts anyways

The setting of The Nags Head is stunning being directly next to the river with facilities that are fantastic. The bedroom was very comfortable and spacious and tea/coffee was constantly topped up with local products. The breakfast choice was also great, again using Welsh ingredients. Evening meals are available which should definitely be tried, as the food choice and quality is top notch. This is the 3rd visit and we will be back!

This is one of the best places to stay for the night. The staff can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. I can’t complain about a single thing. The evening food is beautiful and tasty, the Welsh breakfast was amazing! They even made sure I had a desk to work from out into my room.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I will be booking the Nags Head again for sure!! The carpark could do with some attention (Gravel) as when it rains it’s really quite muddy. That’s just a small picky thing really though.

It is easy accessible by car. The surrounding area is picturesque. Our room was a decent size and cozy. We had everything we needed. The breakfast was very good. Especially I liked the pub. Gorgeous fireplaces and nice interior finds. We had a dinner there and it was lovely. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I will definitely come back some day.

Very steep stairs leading to the rooms (could be a problem, if you've got a big luggage).

Fabulous location, overlooking the river ,I’d imagine it would be idyllic in the summer on the decking. Our room was very nicely decorated, extremely comfortable and clean with high quality bed linen, towels and bath products and bathroom brand new with excellent shower. Tea,coffee, water and biscuits in the room, also a decent hairdryer. The evening meal was high quality and good value with great wine choices, nice atmosphere in the bar area and restaurant was fairly busy considering it was a Tuesday evening. Breakfast this morning was excellent,we both chose the pancakes with maple syrup,I had bacon with mine and my husband chose fruit and yoghurt, toast, fruit juices, cereal also available and jams, tea coffee. Again the Breakfast staff were polite and engaging ,as were the restaurant and bar staff for dinner. Can’t fault the Nag’s Head would highly recommend.
