The room that we stayed in was fantastic, far outceded my expectations for a pub. The pub is in a good position for the main amenities in the town, I have limited mobility and walk with a rollator but the distance to the main street was easily doable. The breakfast is lovely they asked if we wanted a full English and we said yes, a lady came down just after us and she had poached eggs on toast so I'm sure other options are available.

The only gripe I have was how noisy the pub gets, we were advised when I rang for another matter before we arrived that it is noisy on a Saturday night but it was a bit more than I'd imagined, so just be aware if you're looking to book. Apart from that all was good.

The location is ideal for anybody using the local bus services, being only 1 minute from the bus terminus. Although there was expectably a lot of noise in the bar, we could not hear this in our room. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were 6 USB charging points. The staff were extremely friendly.

Breakfast was full English, but the toast was brittle - on cutting the toast a portion flew off the table - but nevertheless an enjoyable and adequate meal.

It was warm and the room was quiet and in a handy place, staff were very welcoming, near a few food places, Abdul’s was lovely food- take your own wine though. we could hardly hear anything from the busy loud pub downstairs- impressive sound proofing.

There was no breakfast available- especially as it was impossible to get breakfast anywhere local before 10 am - and we had to leave by then. no parking- but some very close down the street.

Helpful staff, very clean, comfortable bed with quality linens, modern lovely bathroom (big shower), great full English breakfast with meat from local butchers.

Pub open until 1am and loud clientele. We didn’t know about the 1am closing until close to travelling date and too late to find another room. Our room was over a quieter area, but couldn’t have the window open. £80 seems steep for what it is.

The Red Lion is convinient for the centre of Cardigan and is a lively pub in the evening without being intrusive from the bar. The proprietor was friendly on arrival and gave me the key to one of the 4 rooms they have. There's very limited parking around the hotel and there is no on-site parking. I parked my car on the main car park by the swimming pool and it's only a 5 minutes easy walk and the fee was just over £3. All in all I'd recommend this hotel.

Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff were very friendly. The young boy in the bar was very friendly and chatty. The owner came a chatted to us and bought us a drink.

Been coming to cardigan for over 20 years but never knew this pub was here tucked away in old part of cardigan by st Mary’s church Accomadatiom above a pub but could not hear any noise clean modern rooms and breakfast available if you want it

Room was perfect for a two night stay in Cardigan. Large comfortable bed, spacious room which was very warm. Good drinks facilities. Breakfast very good. Friendly helpful staff. Great pub downstairs which charges local prices rather than inflated tourist. I have stayed before and will stay again

On my previous stay I made comment regarding the noise from the pub which on that occasion was not a major problem. No issues at all this time.

amazing location, super friendly staff, outside terrace area for drinking/smoking, plus jukebox & dartboard. Locals were having a great time too, and everything was fairly quiet by bedtime which was perfect.

rooms were fairly basic and functional, which is what we expected. Good value for money.

A lovely welcoming place to stay. Our room was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable one. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The locals were friendly and chatty as was our landlady. The pub itself is tucked away from the town but only a short walk brings you to the castle and all the quaint little shops the town has to offer. Highly recommend.
