Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Bed was comfortable and ensuite facilities adequate - good hot shower. Considering the overnight rate, it was value for money. The restaurant food was excellent and the chef went out of his way to cater to what I might like. I had a little issue with a bright light and the staff rectified it for me. I was most grateful.

The hotel is looking tired which is fine (value for money) but they need to give it a good scrub and take the rubbish away that greets you when you pull up in your car. Their is rubbish lying against the back of the hotel and in car park against the shed. An old hotel does not have to be a shabby hotel.

The staff was very friendly, and the location is not bad. It only takes 10-15 minutes by bus to reach the city centre. However, I highly recommend downloading the Dundee City Taxis app if you are in a rush and not really used to the surroundings. The area is very calm and the place overall was nice.

The only observation I could make is the fact that there is no staff on the premises during the night. In the future, if possible, I would probably invest into one member of staff being there overnight, to ensure safety and security.

Location was good as it was far enough out of to be quieter and give us a good walk in and out of Dundee. Spacious and comfortable. We didn’t eat there.

It took 3 remote controls to get the tv to work! They generally work with a remote that matches the make of the tv, which we were eventually given on the second night. Then everything was great.

The bedroom was really big, very clean, nice big shower, nice view from window and bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Rated only as "pleasant" from the reviews but the room and the overall experience far exceeded this! I would stay here again!

A little slow when checking in because there was nobody around to check us in but didn't mind too much. Only one person seemed to be running everything. When asked what was the wifi the staff didn't know and needed to ask management which again was very slow because only one person knew which was the manager but he was busy and on the phone so I didn't end up getting the password and did without.

Excellent value for money. Food V.G. Location good. This was a find. If you love good quality Indian quine this is the place for you. Parking space if a car traveller. I was travelling bus, good service.

A bit noisy when the cleaning of an ajoining room, in the evening. Would have been good to have been informed that was the case for the intrustive noise. But this did not happen for lomg, and the staff made resectful apologies.

The bed was very comfortable and the evening restaurant was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was clean.

The room was advertised as having a sea view and though you could see the water, there were two big cranes in the way (see photo). The shower didn't drain properly and breakfast (though very good) didn't start until 9am. We were a little way out of town, about 35 minutes walk in.

The room was clean and big enough for two adults. The bed was comfortable. We liked the small fridge - very handy for storing milk for use at breakfast. The en-suite facilities were welcome. Very nice restaurant staff - very helpful and attentive.

Some of the facilities would benefit from a revamp. Could not locate the wi-fi code anywhere in the room. The mirror in the room was positioned quite high on the wall - I am quite tall and could easily see in the mirror, but some people may struggle. Consider including a breakfast option (even just a small continental selection in the restaurant dining area).

Roy, the owner and staff, were very friendly and polite. We ate in both nights and the food was great.. Mostly Indian food, but it was all delicious.There was also some European dishes also Location is only about 5 minutes' drive to the V&A museum,Discovery, and the city centre.. All and all, a pleasant stay. Dino

Generous, clean room, lots of nice touches like soft furnishings and tea and coffee provided, good food at the restaurant downstairs. Friendly host, easy check-in and out. A little outside central Dundee, but this was reflected in the great price and compensated by free parking.

Great view as you would expect. The room was lovely. Facilities seemed very good although we weren't there long enough to take advantage. Would have loved to try the restaurant.

A little better cleaning, there was a couple of dirty plastic pint glasses in the bedside table with some kind of mess in it, maybe a fag butt, I didn't look too closely, that draw was closed quickly! The sink was at an angle so that the soap wouldn't stay on the side. The sink also had a broken stopper so you have to claw it out to empty it. Lastly only 1 coffee cup so we had to take it in turns for a hot drink.
