A nice, cool old house. The location was good and it was very easy to find. The parking was good and plentiful as well. The owner met us at the door and walked us to our room. It was very well decorated and equipped, but was a bit small. In all fairness, we had a lot of luggage. The bed was comfortable, the room had a good temperature, and the shower was nice as well. There were quite a few steps, but it was worth it to be on the top floor. The breakfast was great and hearty as well. The owner is more than accommodating. I recommend a stay here.

Not much bad to say here, if you have an issue with steps, it is a climb to the top floor.

lovely room, lovely people & yummy breakfast in a lovely guest house. We had to check out early due to an unexpected appointment to view a house. We were house hunting in Scotland but we loved our stay at Eagle View so handy for Newtonmore, great facilities & had some lovely chats with the owners - thank you so much

would have liked to check in a little earlier - we were driving around till we could check in at 3pm so ended up going to another town & on the way back got stuck in all the traffic on the A9.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! The cookies in the room was a nice treat and tasted yummy. We also enjoyed being able to grab a coffee in the front room 24x7 The location is quiet and exceptional for a peaceful nights sleep. We enjoyed the dog and sitting outside catching a few rays of sunshine in the afternoon. The village Scott museum just down the street was well stocked and a good way to spend a rainy afternoon for an hour or so....You can ask for a tour and it is worth it! Parking lot is right nest to house and ample parking available.

Breakfast was delicious, the produce was of a very high standard , a great choice available and our host was more than happy to accommodate my off menu selection. The proprietor was very friendly but not overbearing, we can’t wait to return.

I honestly could not find one fault , my room had no shower but a beautiful roll top bath , I prefer a shower but had not checked when I booked so I cannot complain .

The breakfast menu was better than we have seen in well regarded hotels, and cooked freshly to order. A Coeliac diet was catered for with no problem, with the same range of menu offered. The comfortable sitting room (kept exclusively for guests), bedroom and bathroom were spotless and furnished to a high standard. Tea and coffee facilities (along with home made shortbread) were provided and there was a coffee making machine in the sitting room. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

Breakfast was exceptional - everything about the dining room was welcoming, beautifully laid out, the menu was outstanding as was the quality of food served and beautifully presented. Coffee was delicious and the bread was too. Our room was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable with a big squashy quilt and we had great night's sleep. Loved the heavy, voluptuous curtains - bathroom was spacious everywhere was clean and fresh.

The shower took ages to get hot but really that's just being picky! Everything was great.

Very nice and helpful owner, very clean and tidy, loved the shower products (I like eco friendly things!), oat milk for tea/coffee in the room was a nice touch, as was the coffee machine in the guest lounge.

I would have preferred to have a help yourself buffet style breakfast for cereals/fruits/yoghurt rather than having to order that from the menu. I didn’t feel comfortable asking for more of any of those food items as well as ordering a cooked breakfast!

Location was great, the property was very clean. Our bedroom was nicely set out and spotless. Warm and cosy and well furnished. Host very friendly and accommodating. Nice breakfast.

Our room was on the ground floor so we could hear all the 'comings and goings' in the hotel. Although the breakfast was very nice, we were slightly put off by the fact that there seemed to be a dog present in the kitchen. To me, dogs, food and eating prep areas should never mix.

A lovely place to stay where you always receive a warm welcome. We had a very comfortable and spacious room. The breakfasts are delicious and there is a very good choice on the menu. Newtonmore is a lovely relaxing place to stay in the heart of the beautiful Cairngorms with easy access to lots of interesting attractions. We have stayed here three times and hope to return again next year.

nothing everything was absolutely perfect

Nice people, lovely home. A great spot to spend the night, not a lot to do around but with a car you are close to a Zoo and Museum. Breakfast was cute.

Bathroom had no shower or curtain, so getting in a bathtub was a bit clumsy, spilled a lot of water around. The room was above I believe the owners living room which was a bit noisy.
