Our stay was amazing. Debbie was so friendly and couldn't do enough to help us during our stay. We were so well looked after we didn't want to leave! I am vegetarian and felt very included and catered for during breakfasts. My friend enjoyed the variety of home made jams, you can tell the hosts want the best for their guests. The views from the room were breathtaking! We would happily visit and stay here again. Thankyou so much for such a wonderful stay ❤️

Steve & sue are very accommodating, upon arrival we were greeted with homemade ginger cake, very tasty! The room was immaculate & the bed so comfortable I didnt want to get out of it. I had eggs Benedict for breakfast, the poached egg was cooked to perfection....well done steve! Sue was very knowledgeable & on hand with recommendations as to where to walk, she also offered to print some drives out for us so we could benefit the good views. The b&b is very close to castlerigg stone circle, skiddaw, catbells & derwent water in keswick (20 mins walk). I would definitely stay there again if we were up in the area again. Thankyou for a marvellous stay 😊

Although only a 20 minute walk into keswick from the b&b I would reccomend taking a torch if you were thinking of walking back late at night as the road is very dark

The breakfast order was very easy to process through the app. The full English was excellent, as well as the other condiments. I was very impressed that on the second morning I had a full English, when I didn't get around to process my breakfast request the night before. In fact for both days I was there, I never felt the need to have a lunch, as the breakfast was very filling. Steve was very helpful when I arrived at the accommodation, by showing me around and to my room. Sue was easy to talk to at breakfast time, and very helpful for trip information around Keswick. The view from my room was superb for seeing the mountains and countryside.

Firstly the friendly welcome! The room was beautifully equipped with everything one could want - much thought had been given to guests’ needs. The whole home was bright, modern, and spotless. Breakfasts were superb - something for everyone. Views towards the mountains and lake were stunning and, thoughtfully, a pair of binoculars were on the windowsill!

Nothing!

Lovely B&B, beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. Lots of thoughtful touches and delicious breakfasts cooked to order. Good parking available. Easy walk through lush green farmland to Keswick. The hosts, Debbie and Paul are warm, welcoming and extremely professional. Definitely recommend staying here!

The set up was amazing, Sue and Steve are clearly experts at B&B’ing. The property had parking, we were able to secure bikes and was very easily accessible. Sue and Steve offered to upgrade our room which was such a kind gesture and we really benefitted from the added views across Derwent water! The app was brilliant, such a good idea which we couldn’t fault at all. Breakfast was fantastic (thanks to Sue’s hospitality and Steve’s chef skills). Everywhere was super clean and don’t have a bad word to say about it! Will definitely be staying again. Thank you :)

nothing! :)

I was on a photography weekend nice view from room window just a 5 minute drive from keswick centre room was nice and cosy breakfast was great with the nicest bacon ive ever had just a lovely weekend and place

My only gripe was not being allowed to take any food into your room which for me after a long day out doing photography when i had to miss breakfast due to having to be out before its served meant i was really hungry when i got back to my room although they did leave me a sandwich which was kind but i needed a proper meal but couldn't bring anything back

Very good communication with the hosts and they were both so helpful without being overbearing. Wonderful breakfast made to order. Very clean throughout the property. The room was simple but met my needs and very comfortable with a nice view - would stay there again.

A small light near the outdoor sign would make finding it a bit easier in the early winter evening, but not too much of an issue.

The best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. A wonderful host, outstanding views from my room (No.7), all very clean, a common room with loads of extra info available about the Lake District, a very quiet but still central location. I couldn’t ask for any more, definitely will come back for longer!
