Our host Paula made our stay fabulous, nothing was too much trouble she was welcoming friendly and efficient. The food is beautifully cooked by the chef Lewis, superb cooked breakfast with local produce which makes all the difference when compared with supermarket food , the evening meals were of the same high quality as the breakfast .The Inn is perfectly placed for exploring the Wolds and Yorkshire coast which we did extensively over our stay. Our twin room was a little on the small side but more than adequate for our three nights stay, the room was cleaned to a high standard and equipped with everything you needed.

Despite previous comments, all the staff were very friendly & helpful. Lovely quiet location & the food was superb. (Evening meal as well as breakfast).Toiletries & drinks including bottled water provided in the room. We had the much maligned twin room with shower. It is fine & I have been in smaller rooms! Shower excellent. A bit hot at night but at least that meant the weather was nice!!

Nothing to dislike...unless you want more modern surroundings than a traditional good pub.

The sink in the bathroom, plug would not come out , stuck, had to empty with vessel into toilet. Firstly told one of the staff about it , who didn’t pass it on to the owner, so passed on owner and when settling up, the owners partner wasn’t aware , lack of internal , communication, we are prettier easy going but other guests might not be , so hopefully it’s been fixed.

The "Champagne" rooms are very comfortable, quiet, bright and attractive with a modern shower room. Though these rooms are more expensive, we were glad we upgraded from the deluxe double we'd booked originally for a one night stop-over, for the added comfort and the enhanced quality of the room. We dined in the bar and the food was excellent as was the service - highly recommended and far from average pub food.

The shower, as with so many hotels, had a few signs of mould developing nothing that quick spray with mould and mildew killer wouldn't sort.

Dinner was rather pricy because it was A Friday night and the more affordable menu they serve midweek was not available. The paintwork and decor of the rooms is looking a bit tired

On arrival the greeting was nice. Clean bar and Accommodation. I stayed in a twin room with my Mum. The bar was well stocked. Breakfast was great. I had the Madras on special for my evening meal it was very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bedroom was warm and decorated to a great standard. Tea, coffee and bottled water was available in the room. Having breakfast included was a very nice bonus. I would definitely stay again and recommend it.

There isn't anything that I didn't like. Clean and comfortable room. Pub was not rowdy. The regular clientele was just as polite and welcoming as those who run it. The car park was well lit and I had a very good night's sleep.

Weaverthorpe is a lovely quiet Wolds village away from the business of the coast. We stayed in the champagne rooms. They are comfortable and well serviced. The cooked breakfast is generous and delicious.

Personally, I didn't like the room décor- but style is a very personal thing.

The staff were second to none!! Exceptional customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and drink was really good too.

The room itself could benefit from a lick of paint and the towels were a bit tatty. But it was clean, tidy and comfortable.
