The view was good and the parking was really good. One thing that really stood out for me, there was a young blonde girl who was on the breakfast counter, I didn't get her name, but I overheard her talking to another female guest who was sat on her own, she was asking her how her trip was going and telling her a bit about herself too and I thought it was brilliant! She also asked me if I wanted any beans with my breakfast and went and got some from the kitchen for me and brought them to my table. I have never stayed anywhere where a staff member has shown a genuine interest in how their guests are doing. She deserves a much better position in the hotel, that is for sure.

The hotel was quiet, especially for the location and time of year. (Summer holidays and comic con weekend). The rooms were clean and the room facilities were basic but fit for purpose. The bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains made the room nice and dark. We used the bar at the end of the night, which was lovely with a nice view over picadilly gardens. Our room had a similar view. The rooms were spacious with a double bed, bedside table, television (not that we used that), a safe, wardrobe area, clean towels, and more on request from reception. It was a shower/bath, too, with shampoo, etc, available. It was handy to have a car park on site where you can set up a numberplate recognition and just pay for the time parked there. For a small trip to the city centre, we would stay again.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but the lifts. You are on a waiting game. A hotel with 14 floors and 3 lifts, it took a while to get to and from reception without using the stairs. And the lift often skipped past our floor when waiting. But, this wasn't anything life ruining for us. It's mainly a comment for people who need accessibility. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but looking at the menu, it didn't seem to be anything wonderful. So, we opted to eat out (especially as a vegetarian). We also wouldn't pay for a river view extra as the hotel seems so far away from the river, we are not sure what benefit you get for the extra cost. It would also be good to have a parking deal with the hotel to avoid additional costs. You are also not guaranteed a spot, so get there in good time.

The location of the hotel was great. Easy to walk around the town centre as you are in the middle and right next to Piccadilly with the tram and buses coming regularly. The breakfast had a nice variety of options and the hot chocolate was delicious (recommend over the coffee). The view from the bar/breakfast area was great, overlooking Piccadilly Gardens. We were attending an event at the hotel which is why we booked but not sure we’d have stayed here otherwise.

The bathroom was dated and needs work, there was crumbling around the panels and door. The hot water tap in the sink took quite a while to come through. The shower being fixed to the wall rather than a removable one and the water leaked on the bathroom floor. For the price I would have expected a nicer room, it was very plain and dated, the windows were old and drafty. There was a desk in the corner but no chair and the tv was dodgy with only a couple of channels working.

We came to celebrate our anniversary i saw that the company did a romance package i contacted the hotel to request it and even though i was willing to pay they offered it us for free. The room was decorated really nice with petals on the bed 2 bottles of prosecco balloons and chocolates and the little cards on the side of the bed wishing us a happy anniversary were a really nice touch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. View from our room was lovely.

The glass shower panel would move everytime we got in the shower, and the rubber bit on the bottom would come off the panel but wasnt too much of an issue

We like the suite that looked fresh. the view from our room was a nice addition. There’s a sofa bed where the lounge is but it seemed like the bottom part of the sofa bed was sunken and uncomfortable but it didn’t really hinder us enjoying the accommodation. Breakfast was a treat that we really enjoyed. The staff were all helpful and friendly. One of the staff in the restaurant (sorry didn’t got your name sir)while we’re having breakfast he noticed that our baby girl (1year old) was standing by the seat where we were to have her food as she’s too small for the regular chair and reach the table . Our baby was actually enjoying it while she’s looking around but the gentleman saw this and he took a high chair for us without asking if we need it. We didn’t asked for high chair because on the first day of our breakfast there we’ve been told there’s no high chair available so the next day we just thought there’s nothing available so we just left it. We still had a good breakfast but it was an extra nice day for us that time so thank you for that nice gentleman staff.

Nothing.

The hotel is in a great location, very inviting, clean rooms, and great staff, reasonably priced, good food, not really any complaints from me.

If I had to be picky, and I mean picky! There was only one double power socket in our room, over by the tv, of which only one socket worked. Normally, hotels I’ve stopped at previously, have power sockets on either side of the bed, as standard. This wasn’t the end of the world, but when there’s two people, along two phones that need charging overnight, amongst other devices, etc, can pose a slight inconvenience . Again, first world problems, as we were there for only one night. There’s every chance it may have just been our room, but I thought it would be worth mentioning.

Hotel is lovely room was fab booked a privilege room... was upgraded to a suite free of charge was beautiful. Bed in the main bedroom lovely and comfortable.. Lovely toiletries. Excellent location..tram stop outside bars and restaurants take aways within walking distance staff were friendly and very helpful. Facilities really good bar nice coffee station available. ..

The only thing that would have made this 10.0ut of 10 all round was in relation to the sofa bed. In the lounge The whole suite was beautiful but the sofa bed was really uncomfortable mattress was really thin and not for a good night's sleep. That was the only downfall of an otherwise very. Nice stay

Location is bang in city centre great location. Staff were exceptional. Professional, helpful. From reception, concierge, bar staff, breakfast and even the guys cleaning the rooms. Everyone went above and beyond. Room was clean and spacious. Couldn't fault breakfast so many options. Bar/breakfast area has view over picadilly square.

Car parking expensive. As hotel was extremely busy lifts did sometimes take a while. Bathroom needed an update but hotel reception shows hotel is going through upgrade. Nothing that I would say would warrant complaint.

the location

we called back into the hotel to drop off some shopping and get what should have been a quick change to find an issue with our key card and couldn’t get into our room, went down to reception to find a massive queue for people checking in so went to guest service the man there eventually agreed to let us in our room with his key and said he would return with a new key card for us, it took another call to reception and a wait of an hour and a half to get a replacement key card. Also found when going out of the hotel the staff on concierge never bothered to acknowledge anyone

Proximity to the city center, metrolink and main line station very good

When I looked at the hotel it mentioned parking available and as other hotels either had no parking or charging I went ahead and booked only to find out on the day of travelling that there was indeed a daily charge. I felt totally misled as being there for two days it put an extra £40 on to the cost. I could have booked a hotel just a little further away with free parking, and with the metro link into the center and maybe taking a taxi it would have been a lot cheaper.
