This is somewhere your really need to try , you will not be disappointed , the owners John and Aliya are such nice people and very , very helpful . The room was perfect spotlessly clean , also the little touches are always appreciated , the quality biscuits by the tea and coffee , the fridge and the chocolates all lovely touches. The balcony was an added bonus and we spent time sitting out there which was very nice listening to the water feature and the owl hooting in the distance was an added bonus. Breakfast the next morning was lovely , cooked fresh and again nothing was too much trouble for Aliya , all in all a very lovely place to stay and we will be returning at some stage , many thanks to you both .

We didn't have breakfast as we were in the chalet. I loved the fact we had it all to our selves and able to come and go as we pleased. It was like we were in a tree house and looking out over a wood. There is a beautiful garden and to wake up to the birds singing was wonderful. We had late nights on the balcony with fairy lights, a truly magical place.

There was NOTHING we didn't like. Every thing from start to finish was wonderful we had such a great time away so relaxing. There is truly nothing I could find that we did not like. Our stay was worth every penny. The only sad thing was we had to leave to come home.

Lovely setting, home from home feel, we felt very welcome. The breakfast was amazing! Very clean and tidy, good-sized room, and comfy bed. The bathroom was also spotless, large, and well equipped. Would highly recommend a stay here. It's definitely worth a visit just to try the breakfast. Thank you, it was just what we needed :)

Nothing to dislike apart from the British weather!

The breakfast, scenery, location were all brilliant. Peaceful and quiet. Bathroom facilities were bigger than expected.

Only negative was the miscommunication on arrival time which was NOT the hosts fault. I leave arrival time blank as I can never commit to it because of my job but Booking.com stated it would be approximately 7pm and we arrived at 5pm. The hosts were not at the property at this time but were extremely apologetic and handled the surprise very well, arranged access for us over the phone and met us as soon as possible.

Delightful hostess, comfortable clean room - well adapted for disabled use I might add, especially the wet room. Excellent and delicious breakfast. The garden drops down to the woods behind, and there is a patio to sit and enjoy the trees, with company of the resident dogs and cats if you want them - you will be asked if you mind them outside, and they are not allowed into the guest rooms. Tea and coffee can be made in the room, and there is a small fridge. Very close to the village of Milton Abbas (chocolate box village if ever there was one) but no pub open at the time of my stay so you need to use a car to go out to eat. Quiet location in a short turning off the road. A lovely place to stay especially compared to a formal hotel or the like. Would stay there again for sure.

Nothing not to like!

Small and cozy place to stay. Very friendly and accommodating host. Great breakfast and easy parking.

Not really connected to the accommodation, but there was no option for dinner close by, so driving there is a must. Our window was close to the entrance so had to keep the blinds shut for the whole stay, or people coming in would see straight into the room, but not a big issue :)

The setting, the facilities, the room and the excepcional service and friendliness of the host. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked, with local ingredients. Loved the fridge in the room, the fab shower pressure, the room in general. Loved the quiet area, the terrace overlooking the garden and woods. The village itself was lovely, too.

Accessible bathroom was created by someone who knew what them were doing, not just ticking boxes. Breakfast was good, timed to suit our day and really good fresh fruit. Space on the patio looked out into peaceful woodland and the very friendly dog and cats were happy to share.

I loved the hospitality of John and her partner. The house was very very clean and the room was spotless. They were very caring and they always wanted the best for the guests. They serve gorgeous breakfast and they ask what's the convenient time for breakfast. Which make it very easy for us.

All was fine.

The host was fantastic and very friendly, always on hand should we need anything, and the environment was welcoming too. The cooked breakfast was superb and there was also a great selection of cereal and fruit on offer too. The wet room was also amazing and very comfortable bedding.
