Friendly staff, helpful. Loved the location, easy access to shops beaches attractions. Clean great facilities. Loved the lounge access. Great breakfast . Can not fault anything. Very happy. Excellent.
This is out of control for the staff, but parking places are very tight and even a great driver like myself struggled with a big car. Struggled getting the bags from carpark basement to the hotel reception. On hindsight I should have perhaps parked out the front unloaded the car then parked. But I didn't realise there was no lift from basement to reception until after parking.

Excellent size room for me & my three girls (17, 10 & 8) Comfy beds, great lighting options. Mini fridge was a bonus. Pool is lovely: great temperature and depth for the kids too. Reception staff were wonderful: very kind and reassuring (10yr old is autistic and was worried about hotel behaviour expectations). The lady, a Manager, I think, was fab and even gave the younger two a little goody bag. They were thrilled.
Housekeeping didn’t service the room on one day: there was a note saying DND card was hung on front of door but it wasn’t as it was hung on the internal side of our door, and was in the same place when we got back. I didn’t bother getting a late service as it would’ve disrupted the kids so just a minor niggle really. Breakfast was nice but a little ‘standard’ would’ve been nice to see some fresh berries, waffles etc on offer. However the ‘cooked to order pancakes’ were delicious!

Breakfast was delicious and all staff were so helpful due to my children having multiple allergies . Always hard for me to get them individual meals but the manager accommodated us so well and Rose the waiter was very incredible asking if we needed anything else while enjoying the breakfast! Very happy customer and will return back in the future to your hotel when come again to Plymouth being live in West London. Kind regards, Patricia.
Parking charges was very high £15 a day that was not very great being we are your customers for the nights we are staying in your hotel and paid to use one of your use executive rooms , thought that was not really not fair enough for your customers staying overnight to be charged that much for parking ! Can you please review this about parking , most hotels in London offer free parking to their residents using the hotel nice to review this parking charge !

The view from our spacious room was incredible. The breakfast and dinner with the same amazing view was simply excellent. Staff go above and beyond. This hotel really has the most amazing location, it’s near the city, other good restaurants and bars and the seafront. Once you’re parked up you don’t really need to drive to see the best bits of Plymouth. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it.
Unfortunately we had constant problems with one of our room keys not working. The bathrooms are unbelievably tiny, but to be fair, fully stocked with everything you need for your stay and really lovely and clean. The tenth floor has stunning views but you can hear what sounded like furniture dragging across the floor from the restaurant above and you can hear movement from the room next door. Not really loud but it can be annoying if you’re trying to sleep. The bar and cafe on the ground floor is lovely but I wish there was just one more place to sit for a drink and a snack in the hotel.

The breakfast restaurant on the top floor of the hotel was lovely with stunning views over the sea - the second morning of our breakfast we were unfortunately sst in the middle of the restaurant which restricted all views. Variety of choice for breakfast wss excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We did not receive any room service during our stay. We were making our own bed and asking for tea/coffee/milk. However we did receive a bag outside our room with the tea etc in , not too sure why it was not put in our room but it was gratefully received. Room was very basic with alot of stains on the carpet. Outside our window we had a 'power plant' which made a constant droning noise day and night. We did feel because of this the room should have been slightly cheaper than rooms on the other side.

The welcome was good, cleaning staff really helpful and obliging. The faculties were good and we liked the safe parking. We liked the closeness to The Hoe and also the city centre and University.
The car parking was expensive and clearer notices that the hotel entrance was further up. There was no lift which caused us personally some difficulty. The notification on booking should have made it clearer that we could have booked a room with a walk-in shower as I use two sticks. It was impossible to use the shower. The breakfast was difficult and it was very costly if one only wanted cereals and coffee. We chose to go out for breakfast after two days.

Great location; helpful staff; good breakfast; clean spacious room.
Queuing at breakfast-time; slow replacement of foods at breakfast buffet. Car Park not signed from outside road - doesn't even say Crowne Plaza Hotel at the car park street-entrance. Trying to get up from the car park to Reception was very confusing; impossible to get in from car park without knowing a code. We walked round in circles (with our luggage) trying to find the door up to the hotel after parking the car. We should have been told that there was no lift from the car park up to Reception and someone should have come down to take our bags - we are both elderly.

Staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Always happy to help with any issues or questions. Comfortable bed and great view from both the room and restaurant. Breakfast was good, with a wide specialist selection alongside the standard full English. Reception staff are knowledgeable about both the hotel and the area. The location was great for reaching the harbour and other city center points of interest. Definitely the best choice for a hotel in central Plymouth.
Parking area was tight, but understandable for the building restrictions. If you drive anything larger than a small SUV, I hope you have rear parking cameras. At the time of my stay, only one elevator worked for the entire building. This is an issue if you're staying on the top floor or have mobility problem. The wait time can be up to 5-10 minutes at peak times (check-in, check-out, breakfast). Some drilling was taking place early in the morning as well. Only lasted a few minutes, but enough to disturb my sleep.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and always found a solution …The rooms were spacious and clean.
A few minor points: I asked a Chamber Maid on the corridor of 508 if there were any shoe cleaning materials available . She didn’t have any on her trolley and she checked at reception and apparently they hotel had none . A little disappointing as the other provision - hairdryer / iron etc - was so good . Also disappointing that one couldn’t get a sandwich at lunchtime but had to have a meal ..in the restaurant .. Reception has said it should be possible but the restsurant said no. In my friend’s room - 503 - getting into the shower was awkward for an 80 year old as it was a tight space between the toilet and stepping into a bath. She did find this difficult and unnerving. None of these things marred our visit BUT it would have been even better without them . Thanks

The hotel is in a great location for easy access to Plymouth Hoe, the Barbican and the shops. The staff were really friendly and helpful on check in and throughout our stay. The Marco Pierre White restaurant staff were so friendly and chatty. Darcey was particularly helpful and made our evening meal even more enjoyable with her exceptional service. The filet steak was the best! The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and we had a great sea view!
The price was a bit expensive but the Muse concert helped to bump up the prices everywhere in Plymouth.
