Just got home from Preesall after attending a friend's 50th birthday party. From the time we arrived to leaving our hosts Wade and Sam couldn't do enough for us. They booked us a table at the Black Bull next door where the food was excellent. The room was of a high standard and even had a mini fridge in the wardrobe. The bed was super comfy and breakfast was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble offering endless food and coffee. Also offering tips on nearby attractions. As someone who rarely stays at a B&B the Saracens exceeded all expectations. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. Thank you so much Wade & Sam for an enjoyable stay.

I can't really think of anything to dislike.

Stayed here on 2 previous occasions whilst visiting family. Great location and extremely comfortable B&B. Fabulous breakfast and Sam & Wade are great hosts with nothing too much trouble. Super friendly! Clean as a whistle and has own parking which is great. Even lent me an iron & ironing board!! Will definitely be booking again when we next visit family. Thank you for a great stay.

Nothing, everything is great

Sam and Wade were excellent hosts very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.The place was immaculate and the bed was very comfy with Everything you need in the room even a fridge.Breakfast was very nice and the pub next door serves very good food highly recommended and will definitely stay again.

Only spending one night there😄

The breakfast was to die for so much choice and nothing was too much trouble for Sam, the location was great and central for us to visit places around the area its located in a very nice village . From the moment we drove up we were made to feel so welcome by Sam who looked after us on our five day stay in everyway nothing was too much trouble such a genuine friendly lady . The room was very clean and spacious the bed was so comfy we had 4 great nights sleep and didn't want to leave . We also had the pleasure of meeting Wade Sam's husband on the Thursday who was also equally has nice so warm and friendly . This was a very much needed break and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay its five star plus rating all the way , we plan to go back in September and to top it all there is a great pub next door called the black bull that serves great food and who really look after you when they know you are staying at Saracens house two very happy guests .Sharon & Kenny -Hull

Nothing it was five star all the way clean tidy a very friendly homely BB there was nothing not to like I have already recommended this BB to some friends.

We were very impressed by the service at Saracens House. Upon arriving, we received a warm welcome from Wade and Sam. The main hall area was absolutely beautiful as was our bedroom. The bathroom and facilities were all immaculate. It was amazing to be able to wake up and stroll downstairs to be greeted with a beautiful breakfast. On this occasion, we had brought along our 2yo. Sam and Wade went the extra mile in providing him with one or two toys just to keep him occupied.

Saracen's House is located on Park Lane, the main street in Preesall. But that's still not a busy road, so my room was nice and quiet. The room was nice, and had good facilities. Parking my car was easy, too, the parking being very near to the property's front entrance. Sam, one of the owners who greeted me and was on-site the following morning, was very friendly and helpful, and also made an excellent breakfast. I'd strongly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in or near to Preesall.

The owners, the room which was ideal for our short stay, the quality and cleanliness of the property and the breakfast. (!) Our second visit and we will hopefully be back in the near future

Immaculately clean and modern with all facilities required. Sam was a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble. Was visiting family in the nearby villages so location was perfect. Great for the bus which stops right outside both ways.Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again. Thanks for a great weekend.

Saracens is fabulous and so are the guys who run it, nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel so welcome.
