Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh fruit and a wide range of dishes to choose from. The location was great, with wonderful vistas from the breakfast room & garden, but not from our bedroom which faced on to the street. Parking in/exiting the small allocated parking space could sometime be quite adventurous, as the locals tended to speed past at all hours, whatever the local speed limit. Otherwise handily located just off a main A road between Stratford and Warwick.

Found it hard to believe that a 5 Star rated property with so few rooms, manages to have a double bedroom with so little space on the one side of the bed that there is absolutely NO room for a bedside table or lamp etc., due to the fact that the door to the bathroom takes up all the space between that side of the bed and the outside wall.

Good size room with everything you need, and stunning views to wake up to. Great to have separate a lounge area to sit in of an evening, and loved watching the wildlife in a morning at breakfast. Breakfast was amazing with home made bread and preserves and perfect poached eggs.

Only negative was the parking as driveway is on a blind bend and you feel like you take your life in your hands as you reverse in. You approach the property via a set of steps going down, leading from the driveway so may not be good for people with mobility issues.

A really comfortable serviced ensuite room with all the extra touches you could ask for. Our host Ellie was so welcoming and her attention to detail was super. The breakfast isn't just a breakfast; the bread is freshly made, the jam homemade using fruit from their orchard etc and the dining room has the most spectacular view! The location was perfect for touring Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon, lovely and quiet but just a few miles from these places. We really enjoyed our stay :)

Lovely house and view in a beautiful region. Best breakfast we have had in ages--we stayed two nights and were only too happy to request the exact same the 2nd morning. Thanks for our wonderful stay! Already upon leaving we were thinking of when we could come back.

Nothing! Just a note: the driveway is a bit difficult to exit due to not being able to see the road. While there wasn't a lot of traffic, the cars went by rather fast. This remark is not due to the proprietor, on the contrary: she explained that she has tried to ask the local government if they could reduce the speed on the street. Last tip: our GPS did not understand exactly where the house was--just follow the information in your confirmation from her. :)

Breakfast was perfect, the cooked breakfast had lovely options and just the right size. There was lots of choice of good quality fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt and refills of anything, including toast, if you wanted. The breakfast room over looked the garden and fields beyond, so a lovely view (hence the name!). We sat on the swing outside and drank a glass of wine in the evening and saw 4 deer beyond the little orchard. Lovely flowers and birds in the garden. the bed was really comfortable and shower was good. handy having a space to park and our host was accommodating engaging. High fives all round!

Nothing we can think of.

There was plenty of choice for breakfast, including fruit, juices, cereals, toast and well cooked breakfast. This was efficiently served to tables with clean cloths and serviettes. Location had lovely views with an easy drive into Stratford Upon Avon. The owner was very helpful and accommodating.

Had to be careful backing into the parking space in front of the garage, directly from the road due to possible traffic both ways, although not a busy road.

I travelled on my own to support my son’s rugby tour and to visit an old friend in Stratford-upon-Avon. Weather and traffic made me a little late, but I was able to stay in contact for an extension on my checkin time. That set the tone for my experience of my hosts throughout my stay. They couldn’t have done more for me, but at the same time were not overbearing or always there hovering. The location was perfect for me with a car, a short distance from Stratford-upon-Avon. Shakespeare’s View is beautiful with views across the surrounding countryside and on a quiet lane. My room was excellent. Clean and tidy on entry, cleaned and straightened daily. Decor was neutral with warm touches. It really felt like a calm sanctuary at the end of the day. I had a double bed room.. TV, tea/coffee, dressing table, wardrobe (more than enough for my weekend bag or longer). The bathroom was super, decorated to a high modern standard and showing no signs of age or use. It was a shower not bath, perfect for me. Instant hot water, toilet, basin and extractor fan kept everything clear. Breakfast was available to order the night before. Cereals and continental available to self serve, followed by a great full English, tea and toast (great jams made by the host). Thank you Ele for making my weekend go smoothly. I can get anxiety about picking the right place to base a stay and I left this at the door as soon as you welcomed me in.

I have nothing to say here. I don’t travel very often and have stayed in B&Bs less. There is always that sense of staying in someone else’s home. Here, that was a strong positive. I think there was only one couple staying when I did and other than seeing each other at breakfast I think we were hardly aware of each other’s existence from our rooms.

From the moment we arrived we had a really lovely stay. Ellie is a really lovely, warm and kind woman. The B&B is in a lovely location - only a few miles outside the town but in the heart of the countryside. It was so peaceful. It was lovely seeing the birdlife and seemingly deer are often seen in the orchard. I am a fusspot when it comes to food so I was mega impressed by the delicious breakfast - home bread and jams, delicious hot veggie breakfast. The place was also spotless. Ellie was such a fantastic host. If you are staying in Stratford Upon Avon, I would highly recommend Shakespeare's View.

We had an amazing view with lots of wildlife, deer, rabbits, squirrels and many different breeds of bird, stunning to look at from our balcony. The accommodation was very comfortable, immaculately clean with everything needed thought of. Elide was a perfect host for our 2 night stay, along with a sumptuous breakfast topped off with perfectly baked homemade bread. Highly recommended.

Nothing, it was perfect

Wow the Shakespeare View was an absolute delight to stay. My mum and I could not fault anything. The room was so cosy and comfortable very clean. Elide couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was so fresh and delicious. Everything about our stay was great. The views whilst eating breakfast are lovely and so relaxing. We will definitely be returning and shall tell our family/friends. 5 star *****. Thank you so much 😊
