It was so clean considering it’s shared facilities. The amount of things provided for your use was astounding. A fully stocked kitchen for shared use. Fridges, freezers and even a storage room for your cooks boxes. Beautiful building and grounds. Lovely family atmosphere with plenty of safe spaces for children to play. Even on a rainy day there were indoor spaces galore filled with games and books. This was our first stay ever in a YHA, I will admit I had lots of preconceived ideas and every one was quashed. I don’t know why I found the idea of sharing shower rooms and loos so daunting but yet go camping and to leisure centres without a second glance. I’m converted and will definitely seek to become a regular guest
If I had to be picky at an absolute push I’d of liked a second pillow. But that is scrapping the barrel to look for something to fill in this box

Staff were all great to chat to and helpful. Bar and restaurant spot on Clean rooms with fresh white bedding Buffet hot breakfast with continental aswell, good choice and a well priced extra Definitely will be staying again Lots of seating outside in the well kept grounds which I enjoyed as a sole traveller, chatting with the other guests from different walks of life
Couple of the guests were up early and decided to move around the room like it was a disco. This wasn't really an issue but it's the only not so great thing I could think of as there litterallly is nothing else wrong with the place and I feel bad putting this but it asked me to write something

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the YHA hostel in Stratford-Upon-Avon, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. First and foremost, the hostel's location is simply stunning. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it offers a peaceful retreat amidst beautiful surroundings. The serene ambience immediately sets the tone for a relaxing stay. The hostel is housed in a magnificent building, adding charm and appeal. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with spacious, well-maintained rooms that provide ample space for guests to unwind and recharge. The on-site cafe offered delicious breakfast options. It was such a convenience to have a hearty meal readily available each morning before heading out to explore the wonders of Stratford-Upon-Avon. But perhaps what stood out to me the most was the hostel's overall cosiness. Despite its size, an undeniable warmth and homeliness made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
Overall, my stay at YHA Stratford-Upon-Avon was fantastic. However, it's worth mentioning that the shower cubicles were a bit on the snug side.

This hostel is unique, a beautiful time piece set in lovely countryside within easy access to Stratford Upon Avon. Those travelling on foot from either Leamington Spa or Stratford Upon Avon can access the number 15 bus that goes via Tiddington village a bus stop for the YHA is outside you must ask the driver you need to alight at the YHA Alveston, £2.00 single fare. Superbly clean throughout thanks goes to the excellent staff and their professional customer service which was at a very busy bank holiday. There is a self catering kitchen includes fridges, cookers microwaves, kettles, toasters, plenty of sparkling clean pots, pans, cups, plates, dishes cultery, etc and washing sinks. If you are looking to get away for a country break then this is the place to head for.

Honestly, staff and communication was amazing - can't fault it. I only stayed for one night and was out early in the morning, so I can't say much on the hostel as a whole. But my room was clean, a very good price, and the home itself is stunning, a very very nice hostel if you're backpacking or just need a cheap room to stay in. Id love to come back and stay longer in the future.
Reception was a little hard to find but I'm sure it was more me being over tired after a long drive aha

Staff were very welcoming as was the old building, creaks and all. Simple comfortable room, a very well equipped shared kitchen/dining room for self-cateters. Coffee/tea/cakes and a small bar complemented the restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner could be taken for an extra fee. Plenty of private off road parking (albeit a bit muddy after lots of rain). Ample walking to local village of Alverston and to Ferry Boat Inn facing onto the Avon.
The veggie sausages were grim. Everything else in the 'eat as much as you can' breakfast menu was delicious.

The peaceful location is perfect, given that it caters for families the rooms were very quiet. The beds were really good, mattresses in good condition and bedding was nice and clean. Great to have a restaurant that is reasonably priced for short term traveler’s like us. Perfect spot to stay. Bathroom was really clean as well and kitchen facilities were great.
We were on the top floor and it got stuffy, a cheap fan would have been helpful. The drying room floor was dusty which wasn’t good when I dropped my clothes. A second clothes dryer would ne helpful, we had to go into town to finish drying our washing.

We liked the pretty wooded area surrounding the hostel. It allowed us time to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly. Our room was comfortable and we had a quiet night’s sleep.
We couldn’t close the windows or it would be too hot, so we had to open them up during the night. WiFi did not work upstairs, so we had to use it downstairs. It was still a weak signal though downstairs.

Fabulous place great value for money staff are very polite. A few of the Toilets where a little dirty but I did check in at the last minute so perhaps that’s why. They was cleaned by the time I had woken up the next day. My view was just a tree right by the window. It was a very peaceful. The famo where really nice. Everyone respects each other. Greet each other walking through the corridors by saying hi. Will definitely be going back. Thanks for making my stay comfy guys ☺️
The tree branches was just very close to the window. An the toilets on arrival but as I said, this was sorted by the morning

It had everything we needed and an en-suite which was incredible for the price. The amenities were great and there was options of food around or onsite. Staff and residents were all very friendly.
It was a particularly warm day so we had to have the windows open. There was a church clock tower that donged every hour that kept the lighter sleeper in the group up. However most of us didn’t feel this was a problem.
