Courtyard by Marriott Anchorage Airport

location is as advertised and the shuttle to the airport is handy even if you have to wait awhile at the curb (30+ mins) for them to show up. the hotel is nice and clean inside and out. Not quite what you expect from a Marriott in the lower 48 but for Anchorage its about as good as you can get.

the breakfast didn't start until 6am. I was disappointed to have missed it. The staff did not offer any alternatives even though there were signs everywhere saying the offered an early check out breakfast. The add says there is a restaurant in the hotel this was also misleading. It is a café that serves a hot burger. Very limited choices and over priced.

The customer service reception, the comfort of the beds, room size, and eating at the lounge bistro. Being able to hop the shuttle to the airport was benefit. Have to say the cleanest hotel I have every stayed in during all my travels. It didn’t have any freakish smells and was warm and inviting. Everyone wore mask except during eating. Absolutely no complaints except for the sign in list in the lounge. The chicken quesadilla was really yummy and hamburger was ok.

Having to share my name ,phone number and email on a register listed in the lounge for everyone to view. I didn’t feel that it was necessary to have to provide that information so anyone could view.

We were very pleased with everything! Good food, great staff and SUPER CLEAN!!

The only thing I was alittle disappointed about was that we didn’t get an alaska resident discount. They said it wasn’t available, and to me it should be available all of the time for all Alaska residents.

Appreciated the desk clerk's quick decision to reimburse taxi fare as shuttle driver unavailable - was a very late arrival. Front desk clerk was efficient, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just okay.

Strawberry waffles had just 3 pieces of strawberries. Seating area is very small and became very crowded.

It was nice to have the hotel shuttle to take us to and from airport. The 2 working the desk when we arrived had amazing personalities. Answered any questions and even suggested things. They made the checkin smooth.

I felt the price was a little high considering we didn’t even stay 12 hours.

Was very impressed immediately with the front desk service, very courteous, knowledgeable, and quick. When I walked in the room, it was great to see the personal touch with my name as a greeting on the TV. I was very happy with how clean everything was also.

The only drawbacks were there wasn't an extra blanket in the room, as it was a little chilly; but since I was alone, I just doubled up the comforter and fell right to sleep. The other issue was with someone banging loudly on a room door close by, about three times intermittently, but it finally stopped.

Clean and convenient to airport. The free shuttle to airport was also very helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Staff was helpful.

Could use a decor update. I was told by manager this is coming in fall.

Breakfast was ok. But cheaper Hotels offer free Similar breakfast options. Storage of our Luggage until our Airport departure was nice.

Breakfast included would have been nice. Hot tub needs a little tlc.

Nice clean room. Good breakfast facilities. Polite people.

Obviously, the cost. I’ve been at higher end Marriott Resorts that don’t cost anything like that which is provided by this facility.

We were on the first floor and loved the views of the garden area. Perfect area to take a flight. You can reach down town by taxi for $15 Staff, maids, front desk were very friendly. We found our perfect spot for our future trips.
