Our first initial room, a king bed was not something that fit the main description of our booking which was two queen beds, so they moved us to a different room which was a much better room since the first room smelled like cigarettes even if it was a nonsmoking room. We got moved to a room that was more luxurious.

First room we were placed in was marked as a nonsmoking room but when we went inside, it smelled like cigarettes really bad and I have very bad asthma.

I always love staying at the Puffin Inn! This time I was given an apartment outside of the main building so I was super excited. I also liked that I could park my car in front of my room and I didn't have to go back into the main building.

I had problems with the cable and oftentimes it would not function. The staff was amazing and tried to help and even offered another room but I was only there for the night so I stayed. Everyone was amazing as always.

I always enjoy coming to the Puffin Inn. Everyone is always so friendly even when things get overwhelming or hectic. I loved that when my plane came in earlier than expected, the front desk associate didn't keep me waiting and placed me in an available room. The room was super big for just me BUT I remained thankful and just stayed in the space and kept it neat. First time I was on the 3rd floor and was excited to have access to an elevator.

Nothing....

The room was convient. Because it has an airport shuttle. I needed a full day of rest and Puffin Inn has a discount for employees that work on the North Slope. The contential breakfast is convient. For those who have little money, the contential breakfast is nice to have.

Too much noise. I could hear noise in the hallways. After a long trip I would have liked a little more quiet time. I was able to get rest, but would have been nice to have the hallways quiet. Next time I'll ask for a room at the end of the hallway.

the staff is nice, the area is at a great location for our activities and the amenities are good for what we paid.

the room pictured was not at all the layout of the room we were given. the one in the pictures was more spacious and seemed to be a corner room. our room was not a corner and had significantly less floor space then the photo implied.

I am grateful to the staff for helping my friends and I stay safe. They made sure we felt comfortable and safe. We didn’t know much about the area so it was nice someone was looking out for us. They also fixed our rooms issue. The staff was helpful in getting shuttle for us on time.

I almost passed on the place because of all the negative reviews, especially about the Annex. Well, we actually stayed in the Annex building, room 304, which looked recently remodeled, clean and comfortable. We also experienced the main lobby where we had breakfast. It appeared clean as well. The shuttle came promptly to pick us up from the airport, despite our flight delay to almost 2 am. The driver was very friendly and nice. Overall we had a comfy overnight stay.

I’m staying in this hotel every time when I’m traveling through Anchorage and it meets all my needs) Special thanks to the girls on the reception desk! Always nice and super helpful Transfer to hotel is a great advantage

Good quality for its price

I like the shuttle to the airport. I fly from Anchorage to Prude bay for work. I usually get breakfast across the street or order take out.

There isn't anything I didn't like. I was reccommended by co-workers to stay at the Pufin Inn. The staff is friendly and greets me when I check in, which is usually at midnight. This is due to the flight schedule.

The guest services representative is amazing!!! My mom and I like her warm and friendly demeanor. She is always there for both of our stays. Other representatives were nice too and the shuttle bus gentleman. They have been All super kind and made both our stays fun and comfortable.

We still don't like the comforters and the extra throw blanket. We just prefer sheets!
