Delightful young lady for checkin, who was very informative and helpful, also very professional! Tennis coach such a friendly informative interesting man. Hotel grounds were delightful and quiet pool very relaxing.

Paying for car parking, totally unnecessary and excessive! Costing more than parking downtown or at the University of Arizona, where it is exceptable and expected! The hiking tour guide not turning up as promised and sign posted. No excuse, just NO SHOW. The receptionist that left me standing there waiting to be checked out and finally asked after 10minutes could she help me. No one else there or waiting, just me. Attitude problem.

Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Every room had a balcony which made for a nice place to watch the sunrise each morning. Ample parking that was included with the room was a plus! Gym was awesome.

Room decor was a bit dated and could use an update. The smoker from the outdoor restaurant smelled up the elevator daily. Bathroom in need of an update.

beautiful resort incorporated into the desert naturalized area of the Catalina foothills

the rooms are getting a bit old - I imagine this property has been open for some decades , the property is amazingly beautiful. the main pool and hot tub were under maintenance, which meant the adult lap pool was the only one a available doing my stay.

Really nice resort. All staff,, including front desk , housekeeping, porters, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Incredibly well maintained. Beautiful landscape around the hotel. I loved the guided hikes they offered with Robert and stargazing with the astronomer Bill. It was really a fabulous vacation.

Nothing.. I had a really great stay.

One of a kind gorgeous hotel, grounds, waterfall. We ate breakfast every morning in the cafe. Loved the oatmeal & hubby loved a Mexican breakfast offering with tortillas, eggs, beans.

Well the temp in the room was very cold & we could never get it to say anything but 75!

grounds and pool lovely. team couldn’t do enough for us. upgraded our room and looked after us well.

spa treatments very very expensive, and their billing system was down when we left so we couldn’t pay. they sent the invoice afterwards and it was all correct.

Breakfast was lovely out on the patio. Loved walking the ‘Window Walk’ each morning. And added bonus, Ventana trail access right on property. Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed stopping in the huge lobby area each day for a drink and to watch March Madness.

We had to go to the library to print out airline tickets. The front desk couldn’t or wouldn’t help us.

rooms were very quiet

I wanted a balcony with mountain view, booked a room on the third floor but it was actually on the ground floor due to the landscaping/parking. Staff at the front desk did not know that this room (#3171) is actually on the ground floor, so had a parking lot view instead of mountain view.

The property was clean and well taken care of. The bar and lounge area serves good food and drinks and had nice seating and ambiance while we watched the football game in the very large screen TV. There were a few more big screen TV’s around the bar counter as well. The pool was heated and there was a good size hot tub, ping pong table and poolside beverage and food service. Nice staff at valet and front desk. Good service in lobby bar area. Located up against mountains near a lot of nice trails and great walking areas. Rooms were clean and stocked well with tea, coffee and creamer.

Beds were clean but not super comfortable. We could have had a good view of the mounts from our balcony but the trees blocked the views. Property decor overall is a bit outdated.

Great location. Beautiful views. Walk to waterfall was a fun plus. Comfortable beds. Bar has nice choice of cocktails and good food. Flying V grill is excellent.

Bathroom mirror was dirty with fingerprints from previous guest and toilet had not been cleaned or flushed. Pay per view was overpriced ($20.99). Free Wifi would have been appreciated.
