The made-to-order breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect for exploring Chicago. The room was spacious.

I felt like I was bothering the front desk personnel each time I had a question. The bathroom had a strong mildew smell, like when clothes get wet and don't dry properly.

Breakfast food choices were very good. Location was ideal for us visiting Chicago for the 1st time and staying for only 5 nights. Room was well laid out with all the essential amenities provided. Staff were very courteous, helpful and highly accommodating esp. when we were asking for directions. Special mention to your Front Desk Staff Destiny and Alma who were extremely helpful when we were checking in and out with both women showing a lot of professionalism in doing their job coupled with a good sense of humor. I consider both ladies to be valuable assets to your hotel.

The location was awesome, the smell in the room and how clean the room was was great!!! Check in was fast. Breakfast and evening Reception was super nice.

The tv in the room was terrible(bedroom). No ventilation in the bathroom. No working phone in the room. The people at the front desk was NOT the friendliest.

A big hotel in the heart of Chicago. You couldn’t ask for a better location. All the sights within walking distance. Wonderful breakfast and courteous staff. The king suit we had for our family of four worked out great. We basically had two bedrooms with a rollout couch in the living room. The suit had everything we needed and more.

The rooms are a little old and run down. But not bad. The only thing that the walls were pretty thin and we could hear people in the next room talking and laughing past bedtime. Another drawback was that someone was smoking marihuana in the other suit and we could smell it in our room bad. I don’t know how their vents in the hotel work, but I mean it was bad.

The location is magnificent. You have access to Grocery stores, restaurants, bars within steps outside the main doors. Navy Pier, the beach and other site seeing locations are within a 5 min Uber ride or 15 to 20 min walk. The hotel was clean and spacious.

I didn't like the noise from kids running around late in the evening. It eventually subsided but I thing there needs to be some quite hours enforced.

1. The outdated email from Booking.com saying that masks were required for all staff and guests in public spaces 2 days before we arrived. This caused a lot of confusion, as my hospital hasn't been that strict for months. Barely anyone was masked at the hotel when we arrived. 2. 2 out of 4 elevators broke down the day we left. We had a cart for luggage, traveling with kids, and it took over 30 minutes to get from the 4th floor to the lobby. Stairs were emergency only/alarm will sound.

breakfast with a great variety of options and very good taste. attention of the employees of the exceptional breakfast (very kind and friendly, The location of the hotel is super perfect, everything around it, access to trains and a variety of options.

The only thing I can complain about is the bed and the sofa bed doesn't work well, the mattress is in very bad shape, so it would be better to sleep on the floor. (the mattresses of the beds were in better condition than the sofa bed)

The hotel was super convenient to the subway, a couple of drug stores, some downtown attractions & shopping and a starbucks. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the glass elevator with a view of the atrium/courtyard. We love Embassy suites for family travel so we can put the kids to bed and enjoy a little down time by ourselves. The plentiful and varied hot breakfast is also a very nice perk.

The pool was a bit on the small side and got crowded quickly. The room was not well insulated to noise from the atrium/lobby.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. They called a cab for us and it came right away. Great breakfast that had lots of options (omelet, hot entrees, cereal, etc.) which was included. Location was excellent. We were able to walk to Michigan Avenue (for shopping). Access to many restaurants. Took the bus tour which was great (pickup was around the corner from the hotel).

On one day, one of the elevators was not working which created a back-up.

Our room was the perfect size for our group. We loved breakfast and all the staff around to direct, clean, and serve us. They were excellent, including the ladies that bartended during the complimentary happy hour. Checking in and out was super quick and easy. Embassy suites is by far one of my top hotels to stay in. I will be visiting again!

The only “issue” we found was it seemed that someone had come to restock the room and clean it slightly. I’m not really sure what the process is, but we found 2 of our 3 beds made one night and trash taken out, bathroom items restocked, but it wasn’t really organized or clean. That’s not a real issue, but it was odd to me. It kind of seems like halfway cleaning. Again, I don’t know the policy for cleaning suites and it wasn’t a real issue.
