Location! Walkable to so many areas by the river! Staff arranged for engineer to come up right away if something needed correcting.

There should be recycle containers at breakfast. So much trash and waste. Breakfast could have been more varied.

This hotel is very centrally located for walking. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was excellent for being included. Bottles of water are unlimited and complimentary. Valet cost about what parking does everywhere else I looked. And we ended up walking everywhere we went but this one is free in and out compared to having to pay again every time you leave and come back other places. The only downsides were no pool (not a huge deal) and the AC in the room was not the greatest and they didn’t have fans to bring up. Otherwise it was perfect for what we needed.

We have stayed here for three years in a row now. We love this location and the staff is amazing. Glenda in the breakfast area is so kind and helpful. She gets an A++. The night time/early morning team at the front desk is super helpful and welcoming. Thank you to all of them.

This year there were some plumbing issues. The drains in our room were pretty clogged. I am sure they will get it worked out soon. Other than that it’s not bad at all.

Bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff. Parking was onsite.

Breakfast could have been better. Eggs were runny and sausage barely warm and not completely done. Too expensive plus paying for parking on top of room rate.

Nice hotel, large rooms, nice view on the city, warm lobby. The location is excellent: loop stations are not far, and many dining options around. The staff was helpful.

Main complaint is the breakfast: pasteries taste bad, muffins are tasteless, only eggs and beacon/sausages are home-cooked. The worst thing is the ecological footprint of the breakfast: carton dishes, plastic cutlery, croissants under plastic packaging, cereals in individual plastic boxes... The stay would have been perfect without this bad breakfast.

The staff was great when we checked in. We arrived earlier than check-in for a baseball game and they were quick to accommodate us! The staff was so friendly and answered all of our questions! Great location! Breakfast was very good. The room was large and had a nice bathroom. We paid extra for a city view and had a dog park below us, which was my boyfriends favorite part of the stay. Hotel is a couple of blocks from the L so it made traveling around the city easy! Overall, would definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect. Anything you could want is a short walk away. We came in for lollapalooza and needed something closeby to be able to walk home at the end of the day and this was only a 20 minute walk. The staff was also amazing. Half our party likes freezing rooms so we turned down the AC as far as it would go, but it was really easy to order extra blankets from the front desk so the other half of the party wouldn't freeze. They were really kind and not judgmental about needed a lot of extra blankets. We got them sent up relatively quick. I also wanted to experience being in a higher floor so I ask if it wasn't too much trouble if we could have a room in a higher floor and they also were very accommodating there as well.

The bathroom shower had stains which was a little sketchy, but we did bring shower shoes so we weren't too bothered. The bathroom also doesn't have a vent thing to remove steam so if someone took a shower the room was super humid and overall that feeling doesn't go away too much.

Rooms were comfortable and spacious, staff was pleasant and breakfast was decent but not great. The hotel is in a central and safe area, we managed to walk everywhere from it.

It didn't exactly bother us but the hotel is in a very noisy street and if you have trouble sleeping, you'd probably struggle. Luckily our toddler and ourselves didn't care so much.

The second floor check-in seemed like an inconvenience at first, but it made sense after arriving at the desk: I do wish I knew this in advance though. The room was very clean, the TV offered a decent selection of channels, the view from the room was incredible, the sitting area was excellent (inside the room), and the bed was extremely comfortable. I loved that the sink was outside the bathroom (allowing one person to shower and another to use the sink. There was multiple elevators which allowed for convenience. The location was incredible and not terribly far (3 blocks) from the metro/rail station to/from the airport.

The check-in desk didn't accept payment through 'tap,' so that made it difficult to check-in, because it's my main form of payment. I had to end up paying with a separate card. The TV remote didn't work properly: slow and often didn't respond to the commands of the remote, regardless of distance of TV. I was confused by the doors in the middle of the hallways on each floor. They made it hard to get to the room when carrying luggage.

Breakfast was very good

There were a few hiccups. We had a broken handle on the toilet and had to ask twice to have it fixed after they told us they would send someone to fix it the first day. We also asked to have our trash taken out twice and no one came and we tried calling house keeping and never got through. Other than that the location was good. View was great. I just feel for that kind of money, those little requests should be met. Everyone was very nice that worked there.
