The shades in room 527 Le in too much light at night. The breakfasting have been better. The $25 per day facility fee. I dislike these junk fees.

Breakfast was great and we appreciated the early breakfast on the day of the Chicago Marathon. We weren’t expecting it but it was a lovely surprise.

Not enough tables in the breakfast room although we did have the option to take a breakfast tray to our room - so not too much to complain about.

I liked the location because of how close it was to the river and many good restaurants and your staff was helpful and friendly.

I did not like the lobby or the fact that there was no lounge area or bar and the operation of the elevators were funky to say the least. But what I truly despised about the hotel was the ecological disaster of a breakfast buffet. All the plastic waste and unhealthy food choices were dumbfounding, 🥺the cut up fruit was almost spoiled, the bread and pastry choices were of poor commercial quality, and even the yogurt was not real yogurt. You didn’t even have real milk for the coffee. So my advice would be to lower your room rate by $10-15 a night and just skip the breakfast.

The hotel is located just outside the Chicago loop, close to most of the attractions by walking, close to a Metro (CTA) station and the Start line of the Chicago Marathon (max 15min). The room and WC were very spacious, clean with very comfortable bed.

Breakfast needs improvement as well as the breakfast space area which is small. Since the room was booked to participate in Chicago Marathon, the breakfast area was filled with people and you needed to wait for someone to finish in order to have a chair/table.

The hotel is very clean. Staff is extremely nice and friendly. Super patient and explained and answered all my questions. I’ve been to Chicago before but I realized I never stayed at a hotel in Chicago. Breakfast is kinda a grab and go. Breakfast sandwiches, cereal, fruit fresh, coffee, water, juice and some muffins and bread. Honestly it was fine. But the rooms and beds, super comfy and clean. I loved the hotel. I personally recommend and would come back. Parking for in and out privileges is about $71 a night. But it’s so worth it. A lot of the garages are so $$ and you can’t have in and out privileges. We purchased the valet at the hotel and whenever we needed the car or dropped it off you would call the number from the ticket they gave you and voila! It takes about 10 min so call on your way down. The bathroom I absolutely loved. Double shower heads. And they have a portable light up circle mirror which is perfect for putting on makeup. And they have a seat for it too. Love love love

Fantastic location to see Chicago! One block back from the river and Riverfont Walk. Most attractions within 20 minute walk and walking felt perfectly safe for a solo female traveller. Lovely big comfortable room. Great “continental” breakfast included juices, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bagels, croissants, muffins and bread, but also waffle maker to make your own fresh waffle and hot breakfast muffins and biscuits with bacon egg etc. Happy Hour was actually 2 hours with complementary free drinks and snacks in the breakfast room. Coffee maker in room even had tea capsules and friendly staff provided cold bottled water on request.

No pool in the hotel. Fitness centre on 5th floor was right opposite my room and I was wakened on the first morning by someone dropping big weights on the gym floor. I’d hate to have been in the rooms below that, so ask for a room away from the fitness room. No restaurant or bar in the hotel, although plenty of options nearby. Price was high compared to similar European city hotels, but the Rolling Stones were in town, so maybe it’s less expensive at other times.

Great location, central to everything. Comfortable bed. Black out blinds are great. Nice decor. Good shower. Nice staff.

No views. Pillows too big. Not clean, there were stains on the bottom part of the bed covers (the dress part) which means they weren’t washed. Young people stayed that night and they played loud music until 2am and were being loud in hallway/banging doors. But I didn’t mind as long as no noise in morning. Felt like aircon didn’t do much.

The location was important. The staff was efficient. The parking was great.

Cashless doesn't make sense to me. I deal in cash for most services and do not want anyone knowing how I spend my money. Social media is a bore and interferes with my life. It's not important to me but we put up with it. The room was a little cold for my wife, and we could not seem to get it warmer. Neither of these situations are deal breakers.The room was very nice. We will stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs - we really appreciated that! The location was excellent for the family friendly activities that we participated in. We would definitely stay there again when in Chicago.

The only thing that was not "exceptional" was the breakfast but it is typical of most every hotel throughout the country. I have been spoiled by European fare when I travelled overseas.

Nice staff, great location. Felt security was good. Lots of restaurants and entertainment close.

Seemed like breakfast and happy hour has been downgraded as far as quality of food and drinks. Still a good variety for breakfast but the happy hour only had popcorn and pretzels (the ad on TV said variety of appetizers from local establishments and beer, wine and cocktails). There was only beer and dry wine, no cocktails or even soda. The lounge is too small to accommodate all the guests, no place to sit.
