AC Hotel by Marriott New Orleans French Quarter

Interaction at the hotel felt Covid aware and comfortable for travel.

The bathroom door had poor design for a sliding door which we had to be careful of when opening or closing. It was a design flaw but useable. Great location. Nice extra to have lavender sachet station in lobby. Nice touch

The staff was amazing and very friendly. They ensured we were comfortable and all set up to enjoy our stay at the hotel.

I did not like that the hotel did not have a swimming pool in 2022. A hotel without a pool seems bizarre to me.

The room was nice and it was clean; however, it was small which I did not realize until we arrived. We were traveling w/ our two sons (high school football players, probably not a big deal for parents with toddlers). The room's size did not hamper our spirits and we were pleased with everything about this trip. The hotel's location was awesome, truly, I have no complaints. The hotel employees are amazing people and have the best attitudes EVER! Customer service was outstanding. This was our first trip to New Orleans and yes, I was that annoying tourist always asking questions - your staff are super kind and happy to help.

There was one negative experience with our trip but it had nothing to do with your hotel or its employees. While visiting the French Quarter, on Bourbon Street, a woman threw up on my husband's shoes. It is funny now, not so much when it was happening. Avoid open toed shoes on Bourbon St. at night. (kidding, but seriously)

A+ location, location, location... very near so many places to visit. A+ room very clean and everything worked

Parking rates and options... Booking needs to say up front parking is $47 a night and street parking is an effort to find. Conflicting billing and Marriott's we are the final arbiter of price .. $450 per night on Booking.com hotel invoice says $179 per night before tax ... lacked a microwave which is always nice Hotel Lobby not cleaned Saturday night from 11pm to 745am Sunday when I left for mass. Champagne bottle, cups on table Being diabetic I would have appreciated some creamer alternative... what they had was very good just not low in sugar Oh, on the 5th floor flight of stairs had a loose rubber guard and it was pulled away from the carpet as I walked to my daughter's room. A definite hazard... unmarked but I can't say how long it has been that way.

We were in town for a cruise and decided to stay one more night in NOLA after returning. AC Hotel were very accommodating for an early check-in. The staff was very helpful upon arrival and gave helpful information on laundry services that were available free of charge. The location was great for tourists and direct access to Canal and Bourbon St. We will definitely return to this location when in town again. Thanks for a great experience!

I don’t like the expensive valet parking costs and self parking is always too far.

What a great trip!! I liked the size of the room. I missed having the traditional dresser and closet. The hanging rack worked fine. The bed was comfortable. I'm not a fan of the down style pillows...perhaps a combination of foam pillows or down style or have the foam ones available at the front desk perhaps...Definitely not a deal breaker just a suggestion. I loved having the Restaurant/bar in the lobby with TVs there in a comfortable environment...A real plus since we were there over Super Bowl weekend. ...Available breakfast was nicely presented. All of the staff members were so helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was convienient. We were able to walk to many of the shops and restaurants.

Really not much I didn't like...probably the lack of closet or a dresser

The location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted. We were walking distance to everything but didn't feel overwhelmed or in the middle of it all. The staff was extremely friendly and nice everyday of our visit. We had a minor issue with our room and they were able to accommodate us immediately and switch our room for us without a problem. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Because the hotel is 150 years old and originally the cotton exchange building, the interior architect was a little off from traditional hotels. Such as our first room had a window that was overlooking the hallway and very dark inside. Our second room had a view of the parking garage.

- the room and bed were overall great and modern - hotel location - staff at the breakfast was always so friendly - pet friendly! - different types of fresh fruits at the breakfast

- breakfast was good (for being in the US) but some more warm options like scramble eggs would've been nice - the lightning in the room was not sufficient and it felt very dark - bottle for body wash in the shower was empty and didn't get refilled once during our 4 night stay - the shower head was broken and leaking water at two places

The employees was great form check in, housekeeping and checkout, very patient and courteous. The location was also great, we were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go.

The valet service was disappointing, we left our vehicle in their care the whole time we were there, and when we got ready to checkout our vehicle was parked out front with a big scratch on the drive side of our vehicle that wasn't there when we arrived.

Great location and the shower was really nice

Staff at check in seemed irritated. Overall clean and a nice room but the floors are coming apart and unless you have shoes on they snag your socks when walking . Comforter looked like it had mud or something on it but did smell clean so we slept in the bed without complaint . Maybe short staffed but again at check out the staff just seemed irritated
