Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte Airport Lake Pointe

absolutely everything. everyone was so sweet and kind and very accommodating. the room we received was HUGE and clean. the bed was very comfortable. the services available on the smart tv was more than we could ask for. the breakfast was more than perfect. their pancake machine! WHAT?! super awesome mechanism! everything was within perfect distance from this hotel. they have cute little fun facts about Charlotte on their little drawing board by the elevators, that also include recommended places to retail shop, eat, drink, and grocery shop in the area. the whole vibe of this place was top notch. 10/10 would recommend.

the only downside was right before booking the hotel I called to make sure that they had a safe located in the room because it wasn’t posted as an amenity on here. they said there was in fact a safe in every room but when we got to the room and looked for one, we didn’t find it. but it was fine because we ended up not really needing one in the first place.

Being totally unfamiliar with the Charlotte area, I was looking for a place that had nice amenities and is located relatively close to the highway for a get together with family. The hotel met those expectations. But it is confusing that this hotel is paired with a Hilton Tru Hotel side by side and they share elevators, pool, parking areas, and breakfast room (but not reception desks).

Nothing to walk to other than the Veterans Administration building next door.

That we assumed there was no hair dryer in the bathroom even though it said there is one, but it was hidden underneath the bathroom counter in a bag... we found it on the last day of the stay and my lady was disappointed. Wished to have indoor pool and jacuzzi. Maybe an extra pool table. The bar to be open a little later than 10pm.

We almost always stay at a Hampton Inn when given the choice. This is BY FAR the best one we've ever stayed in! The property is combined with Tru (which was confusing at first.) It seems very new- everything is fresh and clean. The lobby is amazing with a bar, clever work stations, welcoming tables and even a pool table! The associates who checked us in at 11:40pm after a terrible day of flight cancellations were warm and friendly, even though there were tons of people there and phones ringing constantly. Our room shocked us- it was HUGE! We booked last minute through Booking.com and it must be a king suite style room. The room was new and spotless- and I do not say that often at all. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the furniture modern and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. We always appreciate Hampton's breakfasts, but this went above and beyond with layout, cleanliness and choices. The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport every half hour which was so important to us! If we ever come back to Charlotte we will be staying here!!!

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The first shuttle driver was absolutely fantastic.

The doors to the bathrooms don't lock which is a problem when you have toddlers. The TVs were difficult to navigate. The shuttle driver to the airport was just very average, not necessarily bad but a little more assistance would've been nice.

The breakfast was delicious. Unless you are going to the airport that would be the perfect spot but we had to drive 20-30 mins to other locations. Other than that everything was surprisingly good.

I mean if I have to critique the shower could have been cleaned a little more but it was clean if that makes sense.

The room was very spacious even with the sofa bed being used. The king bed was very comfortable as well. The shower and bathroom were extremely spacious. The property was very clean and the staff were very accommodating.

The staff was not able to keep up with the demand during breakfast. The protein's provided were not served in large enough portions. Other than this slight inconvenience the property would be rated a 10.

The beds were comfortable and the top was clean.

I have been to other Hampton In. and Suited hotel and this one I had to order room service if I wanted the towels changed. I wasn’t aware of this, I later found out that there was a note on the bathroom glass stating such.

The room was absolutely beautiful and felt personal with a message displayed on TV welcoming us into the room. Breakfast was also amazing quality with many options!!! The location was away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to drive to the city making it perfect! Affordable and most definitely will be my go to hotel when visiting Charlotte.

It is a double facility housing both a Hampton Inn and a Tru by Hilton. I was under the impression when I booked that I booked with Hampton Inn but when I arrived I was put in a Tru by Hilton room, when I asked why I was informed it was a double facility and even though it appears as Hampton Inn on my booking I actually booked with Tru by Hilton…so be aware.
