Second time staying at Roost Rittenhouse, and the spacious apartment-style hotel was just as well kept as the last time. My fiance and I even had a travel delay which impeded our ability to check in on our initial arrival date, yet Lisa at the front desk was exceedingly accommodating and ensured we were able to get our keys at a later hour. Amazing location to walk around and explore Philly, and endless food/drink options are available mere minutes away.

Wow what a gem!! We liked it so much we came back at the end of our trip - cancelling the other place we booked. HUGE apartment, fantastic facilities - so much wardrobe space, having washing machine and drier was brillliant and the lounge was comfy. Filter coffee machine great too. Staff super helpful -helped with our luggage as the steps are a bit of a pain. Comfy bed, great shower, Honestly couldn't fault it. Location was perfect for getting around - we walked everywhere and there was a parking lot literally next door our friends could use when they visitied.

Only the steps. But it's a period property and that's what you get. Wasn't many and only to reception - lift covered getting to your floor. Reception staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful with them though.

everything. the stay was comfortable the staff was great. Sean and Lisa were so attentive while we were there. we were close to everything including shopping a target cvs for last minute small things. we discovered a great ice cream place near by and having a beautiful place to relax cook keep things refrigerated was so nice to come back to. even the other guests were a pleasure here and for the price you can’t go wrong.

honestly the worst of it is that there is no on site parking which is easily accommodated by nearby parking garages that aren’t very expensive at all. they also do disclose that there’s no parking before you arrive so I was prepared for that. beyond that there are some stairs to get in not very many but the person I was traveling with had a cane so it was more difficult. nonetheless when we checked in Lisa was there to greet us and she even helped bring our bag up the stairs. she was very kind and accommodating.

The apartment was 2 bedroom, 1 bath with full kitchen, washer/dryer, living room and dining room. It was very clean and roomy. There is an excellent Italian grocery/deli 1 1/2 blocks away for all necessary provisions. The location of the hotel is central.

Lobby area of the hotel could be more comfortable. Also, the hotel is essentially unmarked and was a bit tough to find.

Location was perfect- central to restaurants and shops, attractions, and short subway ride to Lincoln Financial Field.

Loud in evenings until late due to “rooftop” pool at Sonesta. New/improved windows might help reduce noise, if that’s a possibility (might save energy too, as the sun coming in during the morning warmed up the room quite a bit too).

I traveled here for a weekend getaway and I was extremely impressed with the location, staff, room, everything! Lisa at the front desk was amazing and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. Shon (I hope I'm spelling it correctly) assisted us with our check out and was also just as kind and helpful! You can walk pretty much everywhere you want to go. We parked our vehicle on Friday and did not need it again until we left on Sunday. The room was clean! I brought my own Clorox wipes because I wanted to sanitize myself as well and I was pleasantly surprised to see the room was already spotless! I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a small weekend getaway in another city!

I didn't care too much for the view in our room, but it was not something that was a make or break for our overall experience. Besides, if you travel the right way, you only need your room to sleep!

Fantastic Apartment in a great location to explore Philadelphia. The Apartment was enormous and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Great bed, excellent shower and everything in the Kitchen that you needed. Staff we’re welcoming and attentive. Could not recommend more highly.

Everything was great. Slightly noisy but this is expected in city areas so not a complaint. Only a suggestion- May be helpful to have small kiosk of supplies ie: small container washing detergent/sachets etc. Only able to access large bottles from local supermarket.

Location. Location. Location. Easy access to public transportation. Fabulous food, drink, shopping all within blocks. Incredible history and art surrounding you. Great city to put on your running shoes and take a jog around town. Sits easily between the Schuykill and Delaware Rivers.

Really nothing. Since the last time we stayed, the apartment seemed a bit worn and a wee less commodities, perhaps a sign of the times.

The location was great! Within walking distance of tons of great shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. Only a few blocks away from Rittenhouse square. The apartment was so cute. All decked out with MCM furniture, and super clean. A super cozy bed, and big shower with great water pressure. Lisa and Sean (front desk) were both incredibly friendly and hospitable. When we come back to Philly, we will, without a doubt, come back to stay at ROOST Rittenhouse!
