I don’t recall asking for a quiet room but was very pleased with our room. So pleased we booked it again for my husband’s birthday in July.

My room was huge and gorgeous! It was decorated mostly in a period style quite creatively and the curtains were beautiful. Also, I was sick from traveling and LOVED the big old bathtub which I was able to soak in. I slept like a rock with the window A/C making noise and a big, comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Also, the young lady at the desk in the morning was absolutely lovely, and as helpful as she could be in getting me a cab, reassuring me that being a few minutes late was o.k., getting me a banana and a yogurt as I missed breakfast.

I had to carry suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. Also, while I knew I'd be sharing a bath, I didn't hear anyone else from my arrival after 10 pm to late morning, so I assumed I was alone, and was shocked to see someone appear next door. It would be great to have some system of 1) knowing how many people you're sharing the bath with, and 2) having some information about when they've just used it, and so are unlikely to need it soon.

This hotel is one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. the rooms were massive - a very large bedroom with really tall callings, a beautiful bathroom and amazing living room with a kitchen. Everything was spotless. I loved the decorations - so homely. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to book us taxis, welcome us and make sure we knew where we were going. they also managed to extend our stay to late check out at late notice even though they were almost full. Really couldn’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are travelling in hotels for a while and want to feel like you are at home in your own apartment.

Everything. The location was great,the property was beautiful, quiet and clean, the staff was great, and the breakfast was really good. I booked a room with a shared bathroom, which cut costs for me and worked out really well. The bathroom was kept really clean.

I didn't have any problem with any of these things,but be aware that you will have to climb staits, because it's a beautiful old mansion that was built before they had elevators.

In addition to being clean and well maintained, the room was very well appointed with traditional style sofa, chairs, tables, lighting and basic necessities. The continental breakfast was more than complete and included a freshly baked quiche and apple strudel. Breakfast was served with real dishes and utensils and not disposable stuff. This was truly like being at home as opposed to a fast-food place. The most enjoyable aspect of the stay was the warm reception and attentiveness of the staff (Maria). The hostess made certain you were sincerely welcomed and comfortable. I am already looking for an excuse to return.

The room was spacious, cheerful, with high ceilings and lovely light. The tree-lined street made the room feel welcoming and homey. There was a large sitting area downstairs and breakfast was made to order.

The furniture was old but lacked charm. The staff was efficient and professional but not necessarily warm. It was lovely to feel what it would have been like to live in an old graceful row home in a beautiful area of town but the building felt tired and lacking a little love.

Exceedingly comfortable bed and breakfast a short walk from city center and subway/rail connections. The room plus bath was huge and decorated with Louis XVI reproductions from the mid twentieth century. Staff was courteous, breakfast typically was Continental but there was a frittata on one day. I do not see any reason to ever choose a hotel for a stay in Philadrlphia so long as this B&B is available.

No dislikes whatsoever.

Location was great and the room was spacious and nice! The air conditioning worked well and was adjustable. Nice atmosphere in the common rooms, too!

We took one of the less fancy rooms--shared bathroom which was absolutely fine--but no closets or places to hang anything up in the room which was a little awkward. No tea or coffeemaker in the room and nothing available during the day to make a cup of tea or anything.

It was in a great location! Restaurants and shops were within walking distance. The neighborhood was very cute…with tree lined streets and window boxes on most of the houses. The inn was great! It was nicely decorated and very clean. We had a continental breakfast each morning and they made breakfast for us on the weekend. I would definitely stay there again!

Lovely room and very welcoming staff. Arrived early and there was no issue with leaving our bags there until later on. The whole place had a very much family feel. From my own thought the eating at breakfast was lovely all on one table and really enjoyed the company. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfy the internet is super quick

OK so the apartment is 4 flights of stairs up with no elevator so two 20kg bags later it was quite a push. The apartment is very much well equipped but lacked anything in there. No coffee or anything to drink or make and no kettle so it had to be percolate. The fridge is massive and hums all night as does the aircon.
