This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location in Center City. The historic building is lovely and retains essential architectural elements even though the interiors have been remodeled with modern style to provide deluxe accommodations. Perfectly situated close to Reading Market, Chinatown, City Hall, the convention center, and so many great restaurants and bars. The bed was cozy, everything was nice and clean, and the room and bathroom were extremely spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you'd hope for. The coffee shop on the ground floor was very good and convenient. Staff was very nice and helpful at the front desk and out front to help with bags and taxi service.

The elevators were infuriatingly slow and one-third of them were completely out of order during our 4-night stay. It was typically 10 minutes or more between calling the elevator and it arriving. The handheld shower nozzle in our bathroom wasn't screwed on completely so when I turned it on the entire shower head popped off and the hose shot a huge stream of water straight into the ceiling of the shower and all over the bathroom floor.

We stayed twice with a gap in between to visit friends. Check in was very easy and staff friendly. Rooms were large and beds very comfortable but as side rooms there was no view. Checking out and help with getting taxis was also good. Being at City Hall the hotel could not be more central.

The dining menu is small and restrictive, didn't really appeal to us. We had breakfast one morning and didn't rate it on value for money. Local diners provided more substantial breakfasts cheaper.

The location was PERFECT! The hotel is near many trains and within walking distance to so much. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We ran into an issue, which they profusely apologized for and provided us with free breakfast for the following morning. Upon finding out that we did not use the free breakfast, they instead took $50 off our stay. Great customer service! I loved hearing the history of the hotel too!

Great location. Very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable accommodations and AMAZING shower. View from the city room was gorgeous. Incredibly tasty food in the restaurant/room service.

Two of the 3 main elevators were out so we had to wait a while sometimes or circle around to the back. Some of the furniture in the room was a little worn down. Could've used some more table space and a larger trashcan.

The area at the entrance door of 1512 was very dark and scary. One of the rooms came with breakfast for 4 - one morning they told us the value was 75.00 and the next morning said it 2 adults and 2 children for 75.00. I think this needed to better explained. Because we were 4 adults. Confusing at the least.

The employees were great all around.

Very cozy stylish hotel. The entire hotel was very clean. Room was very spacious, bathroom was spotless and very spacious as well. Plenty towels available and if you need more just ring the front desk, they were very helpful. Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. Room 707 has amazing view. Bed was too comfortable 😉. The restaurant and bar was very busy on Friday night and the bartender was very quick and made drinks on point. Food was tasty and the couple hours there was very nice. Over all it was a great experience and we want to thank everyone for great hospitality.

The breakfast was good Not too little and not too much as far as quantity I would get the breakfast included next time That would save a lot of money

The air conditioner unit was set to Celsius and that represented cold air when you out the setting on Fahrenheit the heat would go on That was bizarre Thank god we figured it out ourselves9 out of 10

Nice and updated property. Beds were comfy and check-in and check-out were fast.

The elevators near the front desk were very slow. some guests checking out on a Sunday morning were taking the stairs coming down. they do have another set of elevators at the back of the building that were faster because not used /known by many.

Our room was on the top floor and very quiet. The lobby was beautiful and a great place to meet friends, and the bar (although we did not go) looked chic. The entire experience was exceptional and luxurious! There was a very affordable and safe parking garage one block away near the Trader Joe's which we happily utilized.
