Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mount Pleasant - Charleston, an IHG Hotel

Love how I feel like queen by the cleaning crew department in the third floor!! More power whoever in charge of running it because you I don’t need to ask for refilling Whatever! You guys are Awesome!! Breakfast is excellent!! My 2 adults kids love it !! The quality of the beddings are soo comfy and soft! love them soo much !!

Not crazy about the receptionist in charge infront greetings is like yeah your here! What can I do? lol I laughed at it ! They need to be aware when they laughed at customers walking away is not a nice thing to do just sayin ! I managed a business for 10 years and those are just awful to see! They definitely need to improve that part because they are the first impression of the stay!

This hotel was super convenient for visiting the Charleston. The presidential suite was nice and spacious for our party of 5.

The staff was pretty unpleasant. Both phones in our suite were not functional and had several broken buttons. They also have a kitchenette in the suite, but there isn’t even soap for the sink or dishes/silverware of any sort provided which seemed strange. One of the rooms was also exceptionally cold and if you turned the thermostat up one degree it would turn the heat on and become uncomfortably warm so there was no winning.

easy access to/from Charleston. quick-safe check-in process. all staff interaction was very professional, so helpful when our key card was lost. plenty of parking. room was very clean, provided sufficient number of towels, hair dryer, iron/ironing boards, toiletries, coffee maker, coffee/tea bags, sugar etc. breakfast every am. people need to remember this is an ‘express hotel’ it is not a restaurant. the staff who were responsible to assist customers were more than helpful! breakfast included bagels, yogurt, egg (scrambled) butter/crème cheese/jelly etc. perfect breakfast to get you on your way. easy to travel to Charleston less than 5 minutes to bridge access. thank you for making our travel to Charleston pleasurable.

Very clean. No problem getting what we needed. Bed slept well. Plenty of pillows. No problem getting items we needed such as additional towels.

Lots of noise from the upstairs room above us. Someone was stomping pretty loudly. Had to wake up too early due to the noise above. The room was expensive compared to others I have stayed in for the same comps. For the money, I would have thought there would be less noise. The AC was very noisy.

Great selection! Very Nice staff. Bagels wrapped were very fresh. Breakfast was a great asset to the stay! The group I traveled loved the scrambled eggs, bagels, and sausage and gravy. Bacon was great! Not soggy, actually crisp

Could have used a bowl of fresh fruit and a few more items to add to the granola and oatmeal.

Extremely comfortable bed, blankets, pillows. Chilled bedrooms. Nice soap/shampoo/conditioner. Breakfast was decent, we looked forward to it each day, saved money for sure. Location was perfect. Outside of the busy city area but only 10 min drive. Closer to beaches/plantations than we would’ve been in the city. Parking was free and great. Friendly staff who smiled each time you walked back inside. Only complaint is the ice machine was broke, but we lived!

Dirty carpet, particularly in the hallways. Desk clerk was not friendly. Breakfast was less than ideal- omelettes were tasteless and rubbery and most items were not stocked; a couple mornings, there were no bagels and the oatmeal was gone. We changed rooms after our first night because of a leaking refrigerator and the odor it caused in our room.

Terralyn was a treasure!The breakfast choices were delicious!The room was perfect Quite comfortable .I loved the blinds! Everyone was so polite and courteous!We ended Up using the laundry 3 times!The pool was fun too!

I can’t think of a single thing we were unhappy with!We were sad that our time was up!

The sweet lady Terralin was so friendly and helpful! She worked in the evening and always had a smile, asked if everything was ok and gave us extra coffee for our room. The cleaning ladies sometimes forgot to put coffee. You need more ladies like Terralin. She made our anniversary stay very enjoyable.

The size of the room was great! I'm particular about cleanliness and it seemed very clean. I enjoyed it

I would've liked more counter space in bathrooms. The room had a little bit of a musty smell the whole time but nothing too awful. The breakfast area could've used a wipe down at tables and coffee area but I could've just walked up right after it was busy. Bathroom needed more ventilation. I tried all switches but nothing came on.
