I want to give special Thank You to the Lady Manager?(owner)? there. My Aunt made reservations the night before our arrival on the 7/20/23. When she arrived I reminded her she already had a room with me. The man at the desk said she would've had to cancel within 72 hours. In order to be refunded. How could she when the reservation had just made less that 14 hours ago. Well she asked for the Manager a VERY VERY Professional woman spoke with my aunt regarding her concern and worked it out ver professionally. The manager made it VERY obvious to see treats every guest with the same care and concern. Our Family enjoyed the hotel gathering room as well. OUR FAMILY REUNION PLANNERS PICKED A GREAT PLACE. 🌟

The only concern I didn't like was out of hotels control. They assisted us with that as well.

Good and quiet location for visitingCharleston in nice area. Some people mentioned a problem with available parking spaces but we had no problem even though we were there at the weekend. Convenient for visiting Boone Hall plantation Nice pool

Breakfast area was crowded and juice dispenser was broken on one morning Clothes felt damp in our room Two washing machines in laundry area took different amounts for a wash. no information on exactly how much each cost so that by mistake I jammed the machine Not a fault of the hotel but we found the free bus service in Charleston useless and unreliable. We waited an hour for a bus but none came. Walked back to car park in the end and still no bus. A local man also waiting was tracking the service on his phone and buses appeared to be on their way then disappeared. Possibly an alien abduction!

The hotel is located just off the bridge in Mount Pleasant, at Patriot’s Point, so accessing the beaches, attractions, and downtown Charleston is super easy! The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable with a phenomenal staff who truly care about the guests. Breakfast is hot and fresh each morning with a delicious variety.

The only complaint I have is that the A/C didn’t seem to be working in the main lobby and the hallways during our stay. We stayed during a pretty intense heat wave, so it would have been nice to walk into a cooler lobby on our way back to our room.

While not the most interesting ambience or location, it fit our needs being an easy drive into the city center and the surrounding wetlands and harbor. A lovely walk to the harbor right behind the hotel which is not featured but should be! At the rear of the parking lot, a stair leads to a concrete path which meanders to the harbor, play areas for kids and sculptures.

It would be nice if hotels like this would designate a smoking area outside with a public ashtray so smokers don’t have to lurk around the front door, huddling on a curb. Provide a bench nearby, an ashtray and you’re done. Denying that smokers exist doesn’t work.

The room was spacious and quiet,with a small lounge area alongside the bedroom. The bed and the pillows were both extremely comfortable. The hotel was just a short walk from the Patriots Point Museum,the Water Taxi stops to Charleston Town Centre, the Pier (under the main bridge), as well as several very good bars and restaurants. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and friendly. Jonas, in particular, went out of his way to make sure that our stay was a pleasant one! Breakfast was varied-there was something for everyone there. We particularly enjoyed the home-made pastries with raisins and spice.

The rooms were swept with a broom-which was not very effective-sometimes only a vacuum will do. The lighting in the room was also a bit dingy-which is not helpful if you are trying to read! The room was quite expensive-considering that it was on Mount Pleasant, not in the centre of Charleston. I think that the price tag was quite high compared to other Comfort Inns. We visited this hotel in the middle of September 2022-so the price should have been more reasonable .

We arrived early due to timings with travel, we had let them know in advance and were really happy that they were able to accommodate us and we got into our room early. Whilst not in the centre of Charleston it was really easy to travel into the historic part by local bus ($2 and no 40 bus has stops nearby and end/starts at Mary St) or water taxi $14 for the day (though both these options require a bit of a walk at one end or the other) or door to door by Uber. The room was great and has fridge, microwave and easy to use coffee maker and beds comfortable. Breakfast offered a mix of options and was a good start to the day. Laundry facilities were great with 2 washers and 2 dryers and powder & softner available from vending machine.

All plates, cutlery, cups etc used were disposable in the breakfast room and bedroom and whilst bins provided / emptied daily and the plates/ coffee cups seemed recyclable everything just seem to be going into general waste.

The location was awesome. Only a 5 minute drive into historic Charleston. The area around the hotel, Patriots Points, was perfect. A good walking area, a very green space, and also lots of amenities just a walk away. Easy access to the Fort Sumter tour. An easy drive into Charleston. The hotel was top knotch and the staff was amazing. Friendly, helpful and very personable. I can't say enough about this hotel, the staff really made our stay so enjoyable. We were really impressed and wish that all hotel accommodation and staff was at the professional and thoughtful at the level which we found at this hotel. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to all people planning a trip to Charleston.

Everything was great

The front counter staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went beyond and above with everything we needed. We asked if our son's ice packs could be kept in their freezer as he does have special needs and we prepare his food for every 24 hours. We needed cold ice packs to travel back to the home state. The staff put them in the kitchen freezer with a note.

There was a big stain on the carpet in front of the night stand on the window side. We stayed in room 306. We did let the front counter staff know at the time of check out. The breakfast was a regular pre-made and heated up hotel breakfast.

our room had a mirror come off the wall as we arrived in the room. The front desk attendant upgraded us to a different room and that was satisfactory.

Our only issue was that the breakfast person, while a nice lady, was overwhelmed...many mornings the food and coffee ran out and left many people waiting for service...and the tables where never cleaned...I used a cup of hot water and paper towels to clean my own table every morning...completely understaffed. The food was good when available.

Breakfast was very good. Specifically, the biscuits and gravy were soooooo good! Waffles, fruit, eggs, sausages and bacon, and all the standard breakfast items, including juices and coffee, all were good. It was wonderful to get a good, free breakfast. It rained during my stay and the hotel allowed me to dry my soaked "raincoat" in the big housekeeping dryer as a courtesy. That was very kind.

No big deal but construction was being done on the entryway doors. It wasn't really a problem though.
