The staff is fantastic! Very, very friendly. Social hour was a welcome surprise. Included tapas and beer or wine a couple of evenings a week! Breakfast was good. 24 hour beverage center was a surprise as well. Never had that in any hotel I've ever stayed at! Although it was just my husband and I, the hotel is very, very family friendly. It was a short drive to the historic district across the big bridge but just time it so you're not stuck in the rush hour traffic with long wait times. Will definitely be staying at Staybridge Suites again.

Our room had an adjoining door to the next suite which wasn't used for us but it did make the noise from the next room a little loud. Didn't like that.

Location is perfect when just going out to different areas, central to everything. Breakfast was good. The evening snacks were a real treat. Met quite a few people listened to Jazz . But the star of the show is the room, very clean and up to date with a full size refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and a dishwasher, also had a full size coffee maker that you can wash yourself to make sure It’s clean. Their coffee in the rooms is quite good. Bed is very comfortable.

Have some whole milk with breakfasts. And I prefer pork sausage over turkey sausage.

Beautiful new property in a good location. Wonderful rooms and amenities.

The only downside of the property was the lady who checked us in Easter Sunday. She had an attitude and made it clear she didn’t want to be there. The next night I went to the front desk to ask for an extra pillow and the same lady was there. She huffed and puffed and made a rude comment as she went around the corner. Then came back and said she didn’t have any extra pillows. She did not represent the property well and is not someone I would want in that position if it was my hotel. Other than that, the hotel was awesome.

Beautiful and clean property. The rooms are fantastic with great amenities. Full kitchen with all the necessities. Great layout of room. This was an excellent booking!

The lack of any views. The hotel is right off the highway and surrounded by other hotels. The grounds are very nice but outside of the property it is just hotel parking lots and roadways. Sitting so close to the bay, it was a little disappointing not seeing its beauty. The location is very convenient though. Right off the highway and very close to downtown Charleston.

Breakfast is significantly better than most hotels. The staff were very very nice. We had been in the vehicle all day. I noticed that they had a selection of great beers for sale at the front desk. We sat outside the lobby in comfy chairs and unwound with a drink while staff turned on the fire outside without even being asked to. The next day, the young girl at the desk assisted us older persons with placing an App on our phone that really helped us and also gave us good sight-seeing tips. Just terrific people.

That we didn’t spend an extra night here. Will amend travel plans next year for the extra night.

Everything was amazing! Breakfast, patio area, grills clean, pool, social hour was amazing! Rooms well kept and very clean! Definitely would recommend and look to stay at more of this chain in other locations! The manager wore a suit and when the fire pit wouldn’t light, he laid down on the ground, in his suit to figure it out so that we could relax by a fire!

We had to ask for toilet paper and towel replacement. They were always given to us when asked. Maid service is only trash out, nothing else.

huge room with full kitchen & living room area. very comfortable & clean. pet friendly. didn’t smell like dogs & the only time you heard anything was when you were in the hallway. bed was also super comfortable. breakfast was delicious. cheese omelette & pancakes were a favorite.

we stayed in the handicap suite. If I’m being picky the door into the bathroom was so wide it was hard to actually get into the bathroom because the toilet was right there. Not really sure if somebody with true handicap issues would enjoy that bathroom.

I like everything about this hotel . The location and the direct view of the bridge was wonderful to wake up to. We had a king Suite upgrade and it definitely exceeded our thoughts. Kitchenette fully stocked with everything you need. I felt like I was at home away from home 😃...I definitely have found my definite go to when I visit Mt. Pleasant.

No toiletries like soap....but I definitely have everything else. And housekeeping 3 times within 2 hours. The second lady I told her the time that we would have a late checkout.... Here comes another one at 12 ...I should have just put the do not disturb sign up.

The breakfast everyday was fantastic! The location was perfect, just minutes away from downtown Charleston, easy to get to and from. The facility was great, very clean, courteous staff, very comfortable.

The hotel builder should have installed different toilets. I understand wanting to be water efficient, but these toilets just do not work well. Th soap dispensers also did not lock closed as they are intended.

Large in the right places, small in the right places, very clean and comfortable. Great location to explore the area. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and kind. Liked the location since we wanted to explore the surrounding area. Easy access to historic Charleston.

Not a great amount of space for loading/unloading in front of the property. When the property is full, the grades in the parking lot make it challenging to hold on to the cart. Be sure to consider your ice needs. There are ice makers in the fridge, but it could take awhile to get enough to fill two drink containers. The a/c unit is a bit loud. We live on the space coast in Florida, with frequent launches. To us, the a/c sounded like a launch (deep rumble). There was one luggage rack, but two would be better in finding places to lay suitcases
