Breakfast was convenient, but a little overpriced. Our room was a very good size, updated, clean, and well appointed. Valet service was super fast and friendly, maybe a bit expensive ($35/nt.) The welcome staff were super friendly and made us feel like regulars! Water pressure in the shower was fantastic!

Maid service did not fill the toiletries built into the shower, so shampoo and shower gel were empty when I went to shower the first morning. However, when I told the front desk they addressed the issue immediately. Room also didn't have an ice bucket or a microwave.

The room was so nice and roomy. Design was beautiful and comfortable accommodations. The bathroom was amazing. We loved the balcony and the view. Felt like a little home. Small kitchen and fridge, comfy couch, nice tvs and lighting. The staff were all so friendly and one gentlemen went above and beyond to help us check in and get parked. The room was just soo nice I can't even describe. So classy and clean. Even the parking garage was roomy!!! We usually use the Graduate when in town but price and comfortable wise..Cumberland House won us over!! A little farther but only 10 to ride share to campus.

The parking situation was confusing and a mess when we arrived. They begin valet parking next week which should help. The staff picked up on a frustrations as our room wasn't ready at check in and we couldn't move our vehicle to park. They went above and beyond to fix that wrong. By the end we loved the stay.

how accommodating- great snack area for kids- able to grab drinks alcohol and nonalcoholic if you didn’t wanna go to bar area. the staff was amazing wish I could comment them all but Anna Stood out for me and my kids. rooms were super clean, shower water pressure was better than any hotel I’ve stayed in downtown Knoxville- the interior design is just beautiful- free morning lobby coffee was awesome- so many upper scale hotels have cut that out.

can’t think of a single negative.

The location was fantastic! We were close to the Sunsphere and market square where there are great restaurants. I recommend The Oliver Royale.

My car got towed, but that was my fault. Take advantage of the valet parking. It did say on site that we would have $20 valet, and it was $35 when we got there. It would have been helpful knowing this information before we got there.

Love love loved the decor. there was a front desk agent and he was not happy I booked through booking and we had several charges that had to be reversed, even at checkout because he still didn’t input properly. other front desk agents were jovial and greeted us warmly when we arrived back but this one was not happy or thrilled to see us.

the restaurant should have more options. not everyone loves pimento cheese and that was on everything. plus we could hear the chef screaming in the kitchen for them to clean their stations. we had a suite with a balcony and it was a beautiful view and beautiful room. bed was not comfortable at all. housekeeping would come by and pick up dirty towels I would leave by door and bring in new towels but would not refill toilet paper or take out trash. and would occasionally refill the coffee pods. we were there Sunday - Friday.

I was beyond pleased with the unique and interesting textile theme and the exquisitely detailed interior design of this hotel! From the antique sewing machines, soft relaxing lighting, and dark shiny subway tile, to the plush, blue velvet chairs, jade toned sofas and spools of thread artwork on the walls, the ambiance is inviting and visually pleasing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and modern, and the bathroom was bright and spacious. It has to be said that the beautifully retro, white and tan bicycles, complete with a charming brass bell, were one of the highlights of our trip! Peddling through downtown and market square was the perfect way to explore and enjoy the beautiful weather. Everything we needed, including helmets, drink holder, and bike lock, was provided to us, and there is ample amount of bike racks conveniently placed throughout the city that can be used freely when it’s time to shop or eat! I also want to add that the parking garage directly beneath the hotel was easy to navigate, felt very safe, and could be reached directly from the hotel elevator. Knoxville was lovely and fun, and The Cumberland House far exceeded my expectations for my sisters birthday weekend getaway!

To use the parking garage is an extra charge, but was well worth it. Also, from what I gather, most hotels in the area charge extra for parking, so I was already expecting it. Also, the hotel isn’t right next to market square, but about a half a mile away. It’s just an easy walk or quick bike ride away, so we didn’t mind.

Location was awesome and facility was a absolutely beautiful.

We arrived in the evening after a 9+ drive and drop-off at UTK. The bar closed a little early in my opinion. The staff in the morning was a little disorganized at the front desk at well.

it’s on the edge of the University of Tennessee and overlooks the World’s Fair pavilion. it’s is one of a unique group of properties called the Tapestry collection-themed with buttons to showcase its past making various items from cotton. The decor is modern, the small bar and cozy restaurant have interesting offerings. the staff are friendly and very interested in connecting with the travelers!

The $20 additional parking fee.

Smaller hotel but with really nice lobby, bar, rooms, with the tapestry theme echoed in button shaped items everywhere. Top-notch room, bed, and bathroom. Very nice stay.

Breakfast was a simple muffin and apple packed in a bag, with coffee to take out. Would have enjoyed something a little more substantial.
