We arrived at 1600 and check in was 1500 and they told us that they didn’t have our room available but would bump us up to a larger room at no additional charge so that was good. Room was large and had a couch, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron and large ironing board. Younger guy checked us in and was very friendly. Location was great for us as it was right off the interstate and it is also at the bottom of the hill from the newly opened Bucee’s and across the road from the large Smokey Mountains Flea Market. This could be considered good or bad, good for later but bad for the time being, they are remodeling the rooms so a bunch of the walkways in front of the rooms are roped off so you have to go out into the parking lot to go around where they are working but like I said good for later as the rooms with be freshly renovated. They have a snack vending machine but not a drink one but they do sell canned soda at the front desk that are ice cold for $1. The listing said that they require a $100 deposit but when we checked in he said that they didn’t need it.

My wife felt like the floors felt wet on her feet although I didn’t feel that we looked at our feet and they were black so we had to actually get a washcloth and scrub the bottoms of our feet to get the black off and then had to wear our shoes the whole time we were there. The balcony had green indoor/outdoor carpet and was so worn out that it was almost black and rolled and frayed and also only had one plastic chair.

This was my return stay at this hotel and the quality of service and hospitality was exactly the same as the first time that I visited. I was able to stay in the room that I booked the first time, which was very helpful since I was familiar with it. During checkout, I was able to take advantage of the breakfast options available, mainly the black tea (and hot water & sugar). This helped me enjoy my drive back to my second destination.

Previously, I shared that some of the blankets, linens, and mattresses had dirt or blood spots on them. I would recommend that these items be professionally cleaned for sanitization purposes, as well as the sink drain be thoroughly cleaned and unclogged (there was a strange odor coming from the substance clogging the drainer). Those are my only recommendations to improve the quality of future stays for guests.

I appreciate that the facilities and my room were very clean, spacious, and easy to access. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating as well, making sure that I had everything that I needed. Additionally, the check-in and check-out process was very seamless and quick. It's also nice that the hotel was conveniently located off of the highway and affordable, and the parking was very close to my room. I felt comfortable in the room that I stayed in and I appreciate that the staff was accommodating of my request to stay in the same room when I returned a few days later since I already was familiar with it. I would certainly stop here again if I ever travel toward that area and need to make an overnight pit stop.

Although the room itself was generally clean and I felt comfortable in the room that I stayed in, in my initial inspection of the room, I noticed a few dirty spots and blood spots on the blankets, comforters, some of the pillowcases, and mattresses. However, the main sheets and mattress protector were clean so I felt comfortable sleeping throughout the night.

The room and facilities was clean and tidy. House keeping staff was very polite and willing to accommodate when needed.

Hard to get in and out of the motel do to location by stop light. During check out clerk seemed annoyed I asked for a receipt. said I better get a cup of coffee because it would take a while for him to print it. Even though he basically printed as soon as I walked away. Mumbled something under his breath. I needed the receipt for accounting purposes. He wasn't friendly or professional at all.

The chalet was nice and the scenery was beautiful, very relaxing. It was a great getaway.

The driveway was challenging and the they added more loose gravel which made it almost impossible to get up to the chalet. The grounds people never tried leveling the stone which limited my travel. I was very disappointed especially since I was told they would work on it. The drum in the washer is off balance and one side of the double doors to hide the washer and dryer was leaning against the wall. Some minor things to some but for the price I would've expected a little better.

Nice location, friendly staff. Right beside new buccees store. Has breakfast, also microwave, fridge. Located In walking distance to Wendy's and convenient stores and across street is a great restaurant Flapjacks. I recommend anyone to stay there!

I didn't have a problem with hotel. Only thing I would have liked is to have a chair to sit in, in the room. Had a desk but no chair. But that's only thing I'd have changed. Great staff and great place to stay.

Everyone was nice and friendly plus it had a good breakfast and it was a good price.

The traffic out front to the store. Plus house keeping needs to not walk in my room with just nocking . My key was not turned in yet and it was not after 11:00. Plus it was a guy that opened the door to my room. My wife was naked and get ready to get dressed to leave. Very unprofessional

Very nice staff they accommodate my Mother in law well with any request with a smile she is diabetic with a working service animal they were really above and beyond with thier care..

This is a lower cost hotel for our area so there is something to expect you will probably high traffic area people always coming and going not unusual for a hotel though.

It was in a good location and a clean comfy room

The $100 deposit. We paid cash because we were told they would give it back in the morning but failed to say we had to wait for the maid service to check the room after 9 am.. lucky we were going across the road for breakfast so it worked out. But if you were leaving super early it would be an issue. The room was good and the desk clerk was nice l.

Staff was extremely friendly. We was allowed to check in early when we arrived earlier than expected.

There was a little disturbance by some people that was staying a few rooms down. I do believe they may have been having a serious argument and they got a bit loud for awhile. I was able to hear them over my TV in the room while having a conversation with a couple friends of mine who had stopped by to visit me for a bit while I was there. So with us talking and the tv going it was pretty rude for them to have been loud enough for us to hear it and it interrupting our conversation causing us to wonder who it was and what was going on but other than that I didn't have any problems with our stay. It was a very wonderful visit.
